This is a beautiful apartment that is 2400 square feet. It is above a tax business but has a separate entrance with a 2 car unattached garage that has one side that is available. This building is over 100 years old and still have the original charm of the century with the necessary updates for conmfort. We are excited to share this beauty with guests! Gowrie is a charming small town with a grocery store, several cute shops, roller skating rink and a pool in the summer. We hope you will enjoy it!

The Olive House

Cute and quiet neighborhood located in the historic town of Jefferson, Iowa famous for its Bell Tower Festival and often a host town for Rag Brai! This 3 bed room home has the original hardwood floors. The decor is farmhouse and English Cottage Style. Relax as a couple or with the whole family at this peaceful abode located only 2 blocks from the east edge of town and also the River Raccon Trail, which bikers and walkers often enjoy! And oh, by the way, it leads all the way to Des Moines!

Sunset View Ranch 5-Bedroom House

If you need a quiet and relaxing retreat, Sunset View Ranch is just the place. This 3-acre ranch is just what you need to get away from the struggles of life. Landscaping is pristine with plenty of room to roam, sightsee, and view. Snowmobiles are also welcome in the winter months. Plus, there's a small basketball court and fire pit. Sleeps 10 comfortably in 5 bedrooms and has 3 living rooms with fluffy couches. We also have a fully equipped kitchen, a fire place, and 2 full bathrooms.

There is also a fridge for keeping your food fresh. Soak up nature while you hike the trails around Oak Haven Acres, a 32 acre farm in rural Iowa. For your security we have a trail camera at the beginning of the driveway that won’t intrude on your privacy.

GG’s Cabin

Escape to a cozy, secluded cabin where modern comfort meets rustic charm. Just minutes from town, it’s perfect for couples or small families. Enjoy nearby adventures at ISU (20 min) and Seven Oaks (5 min), then relax by the fireplace with a good book. Watch wildlife from the spacious back deck with comfy seating and a gas fireplace. Whether snow falls or the sun shines, this retreat is your perfect getaway.

Pattee’s Place - 2 bedrooms 2 bath

I welcome guests to a safe quiet neighborhood. This is a cape cod style home with soft water. Bedroom 1 on main level and Bedroom 2 on the second floor. Please note, there is no bathroom on the second floor. The kitchen, dining area, full bath and comfortable living room are also on main level. The laundry and additional 3/4 bath are located in basement. I do not charge a cleaning fee at this time.

Farmhouse Oasis

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. There are bike paths close by with city life within 10 minutes. Enjoy the peace and quiet and comfort of your own farm life with your own private deck with a 4 person hot tub and fenced in yard for your pets. Get the full farm experience with ducks, chickens, sweet farm kitties and a Turkey who thinks she’s a chicken!

Gowrie Guest House

Small town charm, quiet neighborhood, Gowrie has something for everyone! Pet boarding is available at the veterinarian only five blocks away on this same street.

Onion Creek Farm has hosted guests for 7 years. The guesthouse has a separate entrance and is on the second floor accessed by a stairway. This listing is for the East private room, a bath and kitchenette. We do not serve breakfast. Enjoy the quiet of our farm, the woods and views from the porch. We are one mile from Ames.
