With six bedrooms and a den, four baths, two fireplaces, a sauna and a large private pond beautifully situated on 67 acres of woodlands, the Grafton Chateau is the perfect comfortable home base for ski trips, hiking, antiquing, or just enjoying the scenery while you sit around the fire pit. The garage has outdoor recreation gear, like snowshoes and sleds. The den has a variety of toys, and games for kids and adults. The whole house, sauna house, barn and all 67 acres are all yours! We are always available by phone, text, or email if you have any questions. Grafton is just about the most charming Vermont town you can find and is convenient to four ski mountains and every other outdoor activity you can imagine.

There is a queen-sized bed, full bath (no-curb shower), and an outdoor shower (not available in the winter) Small kitchen with a sink, fridge, 2-burner induction hob, microwave/convection oven, toaster, coffee pot, and cookware. Arched ceiling, with ceiling fan, large windows, deck, and Maggie's botanical art lining the walls.

This is a two-story, renovated barn adjacent to the chicken coop in rural Vermont with views of the forests. It has brand new floors, a new kitchenette, and fresh look. (Some renovation is still taking place.) The chicken coop is just next door but the birds are free-range and range they will. Enjoy a private, hot shower in the garden, just outside. This listing is only suitable for people comfortable with dogs, cats, and chickens which will undoubtedly greet you outside during your stay.

We had an incredible stay—exactly what we needed for a peaceful weekend away from the city. The farm setting and the beauty of Vermont made it so special. Catherine went above and beyond by purchasing hiking guidebooks for us after we mentioned our interest in local trails. Thanks to her, we found some amazing hikes that made the weekend even better. The food and drink recommendations were spot-on, and the home itself was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped. The little kitchen had everything we needed, including a microwave, toaster oven, and mini stove. Also, the bed is extremely. There were playing cards and cozy blankets for when we spent our last night settled in. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and Kathryn’s warm, welcoming presence made us feel right at home. We can’t wait to come back!

We were three couples that stayed during our Land Rover event we attend every year in Grafton. Thrilled to find this gem. So close to the Inn we could walk and meet our friends at Phelps. Minutes from our venue. So spacious and comfortable for the 6 of us. We were thrilled to have the kitchen & outdoor grill for breakfast & dinner. Icing on the cake was the hot tub. We plan on returning next year.

So charming. LOVED everything about this place. Was a perfect meeting spot for two long time friends- one driving in from Maine, the other New Jersey with two college aged kids who drove down from UVM. The place can't be described in words- so quaint, homey, welcoming, amazing location, adorable town. And the responsiveness of the host was so great- throughout the night of a pretty good snowstorm. Will come back again just to stay here!!! Thanks for sharing this gem of a spot with us.
