Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Grand Baie Public Beach

This place was conveniently located; within a 10 min walk to the beach and bus stop, and 15 mins walk to the supermarket. The property was well laid out and the bedrooms were all good sized double rooms, each with air conditioning. The lounge area was open planned and a good kitchen area with all the basics you would need. The shower rooms were spacious. The biggest plus was the hosts who were welcoming and easily reachable. We had a few very minor issues and each time we contacted them they responded immediately, no matter how trivial the issue. We had a lovely long stay here and enjoyed the laidback and friendly atmosphere of the island. A welcome change from the cold and grey of London - thank you!

I had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described-clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared with everything I needed. The location was perfect, and the host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I truly felt at home during my time here. I'll definitely be coming back on my next visit—highly recommended!

Fantastic location, directly on the beach, really quiet. House is decorated with taste and really feel comfortable. The pool is not too deep so rather safe. The beach is really quiet and nice. Swimming is easy and not deep for a long while. East coast is more exposed to wind but end of June we had pleasant weather every days, despite some occasional rain that never lasted long. Asmita the cleaning lady is really friendly but also knows to be discreet. She was really taking good care of the house and us. It’s a real plus to have her. A car is a must to quickly go around, shopping or for dinner. We hope to come back one day.

Irfan was attentive, available with effective communication and always in a good mood. He did everything he could to make our stay unforgettable with recommendations (activities, restaurants...) that made the difference. The place is huge and spacious. They have cleaner that clean the house every day. Host is easy to communicate and very responsive. Highly recommended

Thanks to Marilou with whom we spoke: caring and very responsive. Small problem with the hot water in one of the bathrooms but otherwise, spacious and comfortable accommodation in a quiet environment. Very nice pool area and small garden. Great for groups.

Thankyou Stephanie for a lovely relaxing 3 weeks in your apartment - it’s just up our street . We particularly enjoyed the peaceful setting , spacious balcony overlooking the pool, and having use of the kitchen to cook our own food from time to time . The washing machine also came in very handy during our stay . As we don’t always hire a car , we found the local buses very handy for places like Grand Baie in one direction and Trou aux Biches in the other ,and we found we could walk to the beautiful Mon Choisy beach in around 10 minutes . There are a handful of lovely restaurants and cafes within walking distance , including a great new Lebanese restaurant ( Kimbo) . We have been visiting Mauritius for many years , and we really feel at home in the lovely community of Pointe aux Canonniers . Thankyou Stephanie once again , and we really hope to see you soon . We had a great time with 13 adults in Didier's place. He was extremely accommodating and welcoming. The house is spacious, the pool is very nice and the beaches are not far away. The 6 bedrooms are nice, bright and air-conditioned. He is a super caring and responsive host, I highly recommend his pretty villa.

Absolutly fantastic. We, a young family (baby of 11 months), stayed for a week. They were super accomodating! Helped where ever they could. Family atmosphere. Fully stocked kitchen with herbes, oil, jams,.. amazing garden and pool. They helped organise trips whenever we asked. The family babysat for us (we felt 100% at ease) and they did great! We visited two other airbnbs on Mauritius but this was our absolute favorite! Would very much recommend 😃

We were received very warmly. Communication was always very nice and they are very helpful. The house is situated in a quiet area and within walking distance of the beautiful beach of Bain Boeuf. Everything is very well maintained. We can recommend it.

Great villa. Had a nice week there. A great place to chill and relax. In a quiet area with very little shops/restaurants so definitely worth having a car to explore further. We cooked at the apartment most days. Good access to a mall a few km down the road. Good security in the building and yard.

The apartment is 10 min walking from the beach . John is the best host you could ask for! If you need something, he is always ready to help! He also planned my taxi back to the airport at 5 am. Highly recommended!

I stayed from 4 to 18/02/23, the house is very welcoming, clean, equipped with all the necessary comforts and completely matches the description, in fact it exceeded my expectations! Bianca is a very kind guest and always available for any request. The location is excellent, close to the beaches, we also had 2 bicycles at our disposal or through Bianca you can rent a car . I will definitely be back next year for a super relaxing vacation!! Pier
