A great 4-day stay at the property that Amandine manages. The listing is exactly as advertised. We were not afraid with the restaurant below and the other accommodations in this large building but not be afraid, we did not hear anything but the calm and tranquility of this place. Accommodation equipped with very comfortable bedding and high quality appliances. We enjoyed the spa one night after asking for access the day before, we were able to fully enjoy a relaxing time. Amandine is very kind and always there to satisfy you. Don't hesitate to eat at his table, the kitchen is excellent. In short , don't hesitate to go there.

Excellent communication throughout, a warm welcome and plenty of advice and recommendations. The gite was very clean and comfortable, with secure parking on site. It had everything we needed and was a great base for our walking holiday. It was lovely to eat outside on our own patio area in the evening sunshine and there was a pretty communal garden to enjoy too.There is a bakery in the village and a supermarket and filling station just down the road. Obviously the statue of Pope Urban II at the top of the village has to be visited! There’s a great cycle route beside the River Marne that goes for miles, passing through beautiful towns and villages (V52). Lovely walks everywhere through woods and vineyards. Hautvillers is a delightful place to wander around, admiring the buildings and all the forged signs hanging outside them. So much to see and do in the Champagne region. We would happily return to the Gites de Sablon if we visited this area in the future. Thank you, Clara.

We had a wonderful stay with Agnès and Joseph. We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. We have lived in the converted horse stable, nothing is missing and the small apartment is furnished with a lot of love for detail. Agnès and her family were very helpful. The breakfast was fantastic - lots of regional products. Our daughter (3 years old) also liked it very much, especially cuddling with the rabbits and ponies. We had a very nice time and would love to come back :-) Thank you very much Angès, Joseph and family

We had wonderful stay at Christophe's place. The place is large enough to house a large group of people - the sizable kitchen allows for comfortable evenings cooking and the coasy sofa invites to long nights talking by the candlelight. However our highlight was the absolutely charming outside area and the gigantic garden behind the house which provide the space and the atmosphere for a wonderful time

We had a nice stay. There are two bedrooms and a great sofa bed. It is very clean and complete. There is a filter coffee machine, coffee and tea is available and some basic spices and sugar. Very nice! It is above a restaurant where you can eat deliciously. The restaurant is owned by the owner. From the village, you can walk to the vineyards, and Reims and Epernay are easy to drive to. We loved our stay!

Very good accommodation, especially if you are with teenagers, foosball, billiards, darts. Practical kitchen Spacious The only negative point is a single toilet for 10 in the bathroom, it's a little tight. I recommend it.

Great stay, we loved the garden, the barbecue and really perfect there is a lot of space it's very nice very pleasant to go out for coffee in the morning in such a large garden, the host was not present but we were able to talk with them at the end of the stay and frankly super nice I loved talking with them. Excellent communication, a small guide is provided before departure, it was very useful to us. The accommodation is in a great location, everything is within walking distance. The only downside was the sound insulation, although it didn't stop us from sleeping. Barr is a pretty little town 15 minutes' drive from Strasbourg and frankly I don't regret our choice

Perfectly equipped, clean and functional accommodation. Enrico is very nice and responsive. The very accurate explanations provided are very appreciated. Thank you for your warm welcome and availability. It is very easy to park on the street right next to the building entrance whose door is a plus and is very secure. Great stay. Recommended!
