Cabin holiday rentals in Grand Marais

It was exactly as advertised. It was very comfortable. It was close to town. It was stocked well with kitchen items. I would definitely stay here again and I would definitely recommend it!

Everything was super close, we visited all the water falls in the area, we recommend au train falls, such a beautiful underrated area. Danielle was very friendly and communicated very well. We have absolutely no complaints and will definitely be returning.

Great place on the river, awesome cabin!

Cabin was just as described! Loved the rocking chairs in the sunroom and the hot tub was amazing! Although we didn’t utilize it, the convenience of firewood available for sale on the property was a great touch!

What a beautiful getaway! Steve was full of knowledge and we enjoyed his company. His dogs were absolutely adorable and the property is gorgeous. Just what we needed!

Had the absolute best stay!! Beautiful place right on the lake. We were able to watch the sunrise every morning and take the kayaks out to enjoy the incredible fall foliage along the lake. Place itself was cozy and had all of the amenities we could have asked for! Lindsey was a fantastic host - let us check in a little early, offered for us to check out late if we'd like, was super responsive, and even left us s'mores supplies and cute mugs to take as souvenirs! Within 45 min from Pictured Rocks where we did a beautiful hike as well. Overall had an incredible trip and would definitely stay at this AirBnB again!! We were so sad to leave!

Perfect fall getaway! Aside from the outhouse (which was not bad at all for an outhouse) you hardly notice you're “off grid.” The solar-powered lights, woodstove & furnace, propane refrigerator, cookstove, and kitchen set-up made it a significant step-above camping. The hosts provide a book of area resources and maps that we found very useful. We wish they would have provided directions to their “secret rock spots.” We enjoyed the base camp and the excitement of daytrips in our Jeep on the backroads — but it was hard to leave the enjoyment of the camp. The setting is breathtaking: the Two Hearted below a stroll by day and a bonfire under the stars at night. What a secret gem!

We loved the privacy and cleanliness of the cabin. The view of the lake was great and the cabin was located between Marquette and Munising so we were able to visit both areas conveniently. The cabin was well stocked with essentials which was great!

We loved the cozy house and being right on the water. The house had all the amenities we needed and more. We would love to come back and enjoy this home again.

super fun and cool spot. loved being able to have a bonfire and overlook the lake. so much beauty on the outside and surrounding but the cabin itself is cozy and a fun experience as well. highly recommend checking this area of the world out. host provided an amazing and clean location and was very responsive and helpful to someone new to this whole process. thanks again for that.

Perfect place for our UP trip. The cabin was gorgeous, homey, and had every essential we need plus many additional. The kitchen was well stocked: a delightful coffee bar, crockpot, instapot, pots and pans, sharp knives, etc. You can definitely see the planning and beautiful details that have been given to this cabin. The beds were comfortable. The couches were a dream. The outside was peaceful. We had plenty of space for our family to spread out. Our family was sad to leave this wonderful home. If we ever find ourselves back in the UP, I will definitely book this lovely cabin again.

We had a fantastic stay at Huyck’s Hideaway! The space was very clean, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the little touches like fresh towels, coffee, and local recommendations. The location was perfect—quiet, yet close to everything we needed. Jessica was very responsive, friendly, and made check-in a breeze. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed place to stay. This was our 2nd stay at Huyck’s and will keep this as a go to! Thanks again!

Our family of 5 had a wonderful time! The cabin/location was everything we hoped for and needed. Each boy had their own room- always a plus. Beds were comfortable. We loved drinking our morning coffee/hot chocolate while watching ducks float by on the river. Evening campfires were perfect. Even spent time laying in my youngest son’s “secret” soft moss patch and finding clouds shaped like animals. Close enough to drive to Lake Superior each day to find agates. What a beautiful location! The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed. This is the ideal location for a quiet getaway. The bed was so comfortable and the linens were dreamy. I highly recommend!

The place was quite clean and looked just like the pictures. Great location. I do however wish I would have not booked this on AirBNB and instead gone to their website directly and booked it...why you ask? Well, they charge an additional $70 fee for 'damage insurance' on top of all the AirBNB fees that are already baked in. If you don't want to pay the $70, you have the option to do a $1250 damage deposit (yes, that is correct!) on top to be refunded some days after they inspect the property. Just seems like they could be much more transparent about these additional fees on top of an already higher priced (for the area) property.

The Hideaway was secluded, quiet, and comfy. I loved the outdoor shower. The location made access to nearby hikes easy too.

Cozy and cute

Booked a place for the Retreat. Great clean, spacious place. We went to the sauna, sat by the fire in the evening, cooked dinner on the grill. There is everything you need! Just right to enjoy nature and relaxation! All the participants really liked the house!

This cabin is absolutely lovely. Located on the shores of Lake Superior, the daily views are picture perfect. The cabin is cozy and clean, with ample cooking supplies. I booked this spot for a girls trip with my sisters and everyone had a most enjoyable vacation. I will definitely be vacationing here again!

I cannot say enough about how amazing Ellie is and the house is perfect. We had a quick trip to the UP for a rally and stayed here and I'm so glad we did. The house is immaculate and Ellie is the perfect host. Thank you so much for the hospitality. We will stay here again.
