Holiday rentals with a sauna in Grand Sirenis

THE APARTMENT: Very nice, spacious, clean and well stocked with everything needed by our family for a weeklong stay. Wireless internet worked fine to do remote work. The cart to load/pull things throughout the complex was extremely useful. Only negative was the firmness of the double-bed mattresses, but that’s relative and not a deal-breaker. THE GROUNDS: Mareazul community was peaceful, private, safe, and absolutely gorgeous. Our family loved the pools, the beachfront, the wildlife, and the on-site restaurant. We didn’t take advantage of other amenities like the gym or spa. THE HOST: Mabel was attentive, gave clear instructions early, and communicated well. Her responsiveness slowed down noticeably after check in though, for unknown reasons. We really enjoyed staying at Mabel’s apartment and would happily return for a similar rate. 👍🏼

The photos don't really honor the place, both the apartment and the rest of the condominium. We felt at home, we didn't want to leave. To the point that we found it more luxurious than the all inclusive we stayed after. Everything is spotless, with details in every spot where you looked, excellent finishes and appliance quality. We could even use the washing machine. I realized there was no hair dryer and by mentioning it to Melani she directly bought it and got it the next day. Impeccable. We are really very comfortable, being our honeymoon we couldn't have chosen better place to spend our first 8 nights in Playa del Carmen. The area is very quiet, you can move well with a car since it is a little far from the center but it is convenient because it is an exclusive area. Thank you very much Melani and the other host for such warmth. We will definitely recommend and will be back as soon as we can.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an absolutely incredible stay at this Airbnb in Playa del Carmen! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The air conditioning and WiFi worked perfectly, and the bed was super comfortable. The location was ideal—just a short walk to the beach, amazing restaurants, and vibrant nightlife, but still tucked away enough to be peaceful at night. The neighborhood felt very safe and friendly. Our host was amazing—responsive, helpful, and full of great local recommendations. Check-in was seamless, and they even left a few thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. If you're visiting Playa del Carmen, do yourself a favor and book this place. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The Airbnb was great. It had great amenities, was very clean and not far from the center. Arturo always responded quickly, so check-in and check-out went smoothly. I would always come back!

We had a great stay here. Lots of space especially with two floors. Comfortable bed, sheets and pillows, and furniture. Lots of light and a great space on the second floor to hang out and have fun. The views from every window are really nice, and the private pool on the rooftop lounge is quite unique and special. Washing machine definitely a needed bonus for us. Fully functional kitchen, although we didn’t really need to cook with all the great food options around. The restaurant on site was simple and delicious and the staff were wonderful. The property itself is gorgeous, with greenery everywhere, peaceful walking paths, nice pools, a cenote and a basic gym with AC. Would recommend renting a scooter or be comfortable walking on a bumpy dirt road to get to the main street and cross it to reach la valeta which is totally walkable. Or take a taxi to aldea zama nearby which is walkable and cute. Beach was about a 10 minute drive and city center a 5 minute drive.

Great place to stay. My one week long family of 4 vacation was great at this location. Very clean and relaxing, more than enough space for my family. Very attentive host, they will response with in minutes for any questions. I will definitely recommend .

The AWA apartment in PlayaCar was beautiful, everything was clean and as described. The AWA facility was gorgeous. We arrived to a nice bowl of snacks and a beautiful home. Rose was attentive and very helpful. Our remote needed batteries and she brought us a replacement, then something had to be adjusted to the water filter, she offered to come by and fix immediately. Rose helped us with transportation from Cancun airport to AWA, so convenient and hassle free. The hotel has a convenient taxi service, making it very safe to travel. It was about $22 dollars one way, about a 15 min drive from XCARET and EXPLORE. We walked to 5th street which was a nice 10 minute walk. The washer and dryer came in very handy with all the water activities. There was a convenient store across the street as well as a few restaurants. Down the street about an 8 minute walk was Don Sirloin, with had amazing tacos, we walked there 3 times, highly recommend.

Rene's place was great! The location was easy to find and felt very safe with friendly front desk staff. The AC worked great and the space was clean and comfortable. The pools and common areas of the property were fun to have access to and were never crowded. The building is walking distance to many restaurants and shops. There was a bike and scooter rental business less than a block away, as well as many convenience stores and a bank if you need access to an ATM with low fees. Rene was an excellent communicator, providing clear entry instructions and responding almost immediately when I had a few questions. All around a wonderful stay!

Great place! Wasn't sure what i was getting into when we first pulled up as we'd never been to PDC before. Turns out we were 5 easy blocks from the beach and 5th Avenue which is where all the action is for tourist food and festivities. The place is also surrounded by 'local' food and fare as well - El Fogon is 2 blocks away, Walmart is 2 blocks away, many local tiendas from right downstairs to blocks away. Very clean - A/C's were working - had an issue with a drawer (at 7am) and Allen had it fixed within an hour. The balcony got great AM sun - i spent most of my time while there on the balcony just because we came from the North and i desired heat. But ... this place is not for those seeking solitude and silence, though. It's very loud with street noise. The tour busses start coming by at 7am and don't stop until about 9pm. All day. Everyday. But if you stayed closer to 5th Avenue you'd have to deal with the club music so it's a toss up. We had a blast and loved all of it!

Cruz con Mar is one of our favorite places to stay in PDC. We have been in quite a few different units in the building. This one was one of the best. The ease of the door lock and the updated thermostats might be a strange complement but IYKYK. The beds were very comfortable and the water pressure in the showers were great.

Great stay! Only downside was there were only two shower towels and had issues with the AC kicking off during the day and in the middle of the night… Easy access to everything you want to do in Tulum!

Great communication, lovely place. The beautiful rooftop pool with a view of the beach was the icing on top. For those surfing for where to stay, 38th St near 5th ave is absolutely perfect for a stay in Playa: great restaurants and very close beach access. Great vacation for admittedly picky New Yorkers. We had a great stay, everything was clean and it was clear the limits on aircon use etc. (As there are 4 rooms with aircon, 3 bedrooms and the living room, it’s not possible to have aircon during the night in the bedrooms as you will go over the limit immediately). One aircon running is about 2kw per hour for those who are wondering so be aware for the hot months. Julieta was very responsive and friendly and we had a good check in and check out experience. The water pressure was not very good on the first floor but other than that there was always enough hot water for all of us and the kitchen was very well equipped with even a kettle and toaster which we really appreciated :) The community children’s playroom was a huge plus for us as well as the community pool, there are two different pools with shade at different times of the day so it was great for the kids. Also little extras like beach umbrellas and she provided more than enough towels which was great:) Def would stay again!

The place is very nice, I went with my family and we felt right at home. It has all the amenities and provide many things that serve you to occupy on the beach. Alonso answered the questions we had very soon. Excellent and comfortable place, I would definitely stay again. I would highly recommend it

I loved the attention of the hosts, they saved me from not spending the night in the car with 7 young girls, the Airbnb I rented for my vacation made us have a bad time and we had to leave it, I contacted the hosts late at night and they were accessible and quick, they made it easy for us to live in the apartment in less than 10 minutes, 🤗 they were angels for us, the place is comfortable, safe and with super clear and precise directions, they are in contact and always available, I recommend them 100%

Excellent! My family and I love the place, extremely comfortable and beautiful, clean and tidy! It was just what we needed, both the house and the area very quiet and Juan Manuel always very friendly, attentive and available, ready to support us at any time, as well as the very friendly staff also. 100% recommended, I would definitely choose it again.

Sonny was amazing from beginning to end, super friendly and incredibly responsive. The place looks exactly like the pictures, and has 24 hr security… who are super friendly and helpful as well. Loved that we were able to walk to nearby restaurants and convenience stores. Sonny had endless recommendations making our girls trip so much smoother. His transportation recommendation saved us everyday, the chef, the marachi band, the masseuse, all beautiful. Our experience was nothing less of amazing. Definitely recommended and would definitely book again.
