Farmstay holiday rentals in Great Australian Bight

We had a wonderful stay celebrating our anniversary here. The place was clean, very private, and felt secure. The location is great, surrounded by lots of wineries. The fireplace added a cozy touch, and we loved the full set of Koi Knives in the kitchen – a nice surprise for anyone who enjoys cooking. It was a bit tricky to find at first since Google Maps wasn’t very accurate, but the host’s instructions were clear and helped us get there without too much trouble. Overall, a lovely and relaxing stay – highly recommend!

Despite the crazy weather at the start, our family had a wonderfully relaxing and peaceful stay. The kids absolutely loved feeding the animals and soaking in the fresh air and beautiful scenery. Our host was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Gino's amazing pizza quickly became a highlight alongside toasting marshmallows by the fire and reading in the hammock. Riding in the digger was an unique experience that added a bit of adventure to our stay! We also had a blast playing tennis and kicking the footy around, creating special family memories. It was the perfect getaway, and we can’t wait to return!

What an ideal little spot! Sarah was lovely and welcoming. The property was everything we expected and more, the animals are beautiful, and truly gave us more than just a getaway, they gave an experience. We will be back, thank you Sarah.

A slice of paradise! Clover cottage retreat is food for the soul. With breath taking scenery it enables you to unplug from the hustle and bustle of daily life to reconnect to nature, your loved ones and even yourself. Our kids loved their stay. From feeding the alpacas to walking the donkeys or even just observing the free ranging chickens there was plenty to keep them busy not even to mention the fishing. It’s well situated between Manjimup and Pemberton allowing access to multiple day trips whilst still enjoying the serenity of the setting. A great spot for families to reconnect!

we loved our stay at the charming train carriage! was met by the lovely and kind host, Stuart. It was filled with lotssss of homemade goodies that felt like a big warm hug. we fed chooks, emus, sheep and a Llama. my kid had such a great time she keeps talking about our stay there. the view of the Stirling range made it extra special as well. Amazing hosts! Highly recommend for anyone exploring the area!

I wish Airbnb hosts would stay at each other’s places to get an idea of what a proper Airbnb should look like, and one of these is Sylvie’s place: an absolute model of perfection! Not just immaculately clean and tidy, but everything was as listed & in great condition: excellent cooking utensils (instead of the ex-non stick frypan that’s scratched to death), spices that expire next year (not 5 years ago), etc. Communication with Sylvie was perfect. And her hens contributed by donating 6 fresh eggs. Most highly recommended.

Our stay at Karen's was perfect. Every detail was thoughtfully considered by our host. The space was great for the 4 of us... spacious rooms and bathrooms as well as the open plan kitchen and living area. There was enough food for 6-8 people and we enjoyed our cook up of local bread, bacon and eggs on the Sunday when we had a late check out. Bread, jams, cereals, coffee and treats were overflowing and various milks were available too. Such a memorable experience...we hope to return one day!

Beautiful little home, perfect location close to many of the best wineries in the Barossa. Animals were adorable, especially buddy the dog. Sally was wonderful, incredibly friendly and generous with her welcome treats!

The cottage was as enchanting as promised. We loved the understated warmth and charm of this getaway. Arriving to a heated house, and other treats including a good bottle of shiraz was especially appreciated. We were so taken with this beautiful cottage that we booked it again almost straight away - and look forward to our return. Highly recommended :)

We really enjoyed our stay out in Woodside, it was really beautiful. Really enjoyed waking up to watch the cows past our windows, and even coming up to say hello! David was really helpful and friendly, and I'd recommend his place to anyone looking for a peaceful weekend away.

The unit was very easy to find and instructions on getting there from Sharon were very clear. The place was very peaceful and we enjoyed our mornings with the surrounding animals and birds. Was quiet at night and we brought our telescope with us for some awesome stargazing. The unit was well equipped and the bathtub was superb. It’s also really close to the shops and also Little Beach. We had a fabulous time and highly recommended staying here.

This little chalet on the hill was the perfect getaway and escape. Set on a beautiful landscape surrounded by cows, horses and ponies it was a homey, cosy stay with a warm fire and plenty of board games. Incredibly clean, not a thing out of place and the host of the property was amazing- very communicative and lovely. Right between Albany and Denmark, you can venture out in either direction before coming back to switch off- would highly recommend!!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Bluff Knoll House! The location is peaceful, scenic, and full of charm — the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Kylee was a fantastic host: thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely welcoming. She had left a lovely welcome note, some fresh eggs, and even a great collection of toddler books that kept our little one happily engaged throughout the trip. The house was spotless, well-equipped, and beautifully positioned with views of the hills and surrounding farmland. We especially loved the opportunity to feed the animals — such a special experience for the whole family. Everything was so well thought out that we honestly didn’t feel like we lacked anything. This farmstay is a hidden gem and we’d absolutely love to return in the future. Thank you, Kylee!

We just spent the long weekend at Olga's place. It was exactly what we imagined and did exactly what we needed - family down time, great views, simple screen free weekend. The place was spotless, fire was ready to go, dog had a blast running around the enclosed area. We spent an evening painting the view from a photo we took during the day and then projected on the blinds, explored deep creek conservation park and played lots of cards and board games (supplied) by the fire ☺️ Oh and a windy winters walk up to the next paddock to feed the friendly horse and donkey! A beautiful cottage, clean and tidy and beautiful views out the back. The animal visitors added extra charm and we loved how easy it was to walk to local cafes and shops. We would book again in a heartbeat!

The hosts response quickly, give a lot advice before checking in, during staying, after leaving. Helped us get out of stuck car. The cabin is really clean, the furnitures are really good, including couch, bed, table, kitchen…. Feel comfortable staying. Very beautiful surroundings, including the cattle’s talking, they are curious looking at us, the birds are singing, the sunshine going inside in the morning. The fireplace inside is really good, easy to light up.

We loved our stay at The Merry Moose. It is impeccably clean and tastefully decorated, with many thoughtful extras. It is in a very handy location to explore all the beautiful Clare Valley has to offer. We can’t wait to stay again!

A wonderful time in nature - a stone's throw away from the beach and the Saturday markets and full of birds of all varieties. The bathroom and kitchen were stocked with all sorts of amenities and all disposable items were biodegradable which we really liked and appreciated. It felt more like a hotel than an Airbnb with how much stuff was kept stocked everywhere! Surrounds were private and pristine - the bedrooms were comfortable there was enough space for the four of us to find a cozy nook and go off and read - we would definitely visit again if we get a chance!!!!!

An absolutely beautiful stay! It was our first family holiday and with toddlers often comes stress, but Susan was so helpful setting up a cot & high chair as well as so many incredible toys & books to keep our daughter entertained we were actually able to have a stress free long weekend! The house is so beautiful, the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. Waking up to the stunning sunrise & seeing the cows from the windows was amazing too. We will definitely be coming back!!

The house was incredible - exactly as described. 360 views of vineyards, a beautiful yard with fenced pool that was perfect for our young boys to run around and ride bikes, and very comfortable beds. We did a big cook up one night and the kitchen was well equipped. A large indoor dining table and outdoor dining table, and a large family area with big screen tv and lovely warming fireplace. Aircon throughout. On a cold May night it was very cozy! I would highly recommend this property, we were 7 adults and 2 kids and slept here very comfortably.

We absolutely loved it! Exactly the way it was presented in the photos. Duncan and Alva were lovely hosts and took good care of us including a beautiful breakfast basket with hot croissants. The fairy lights were gorgeous even in the barn and we enjoyed the animals. We will come back, thank you 😊

We had a great weekend at Jane's lovely cottage. Checkin was a breeze as we just walked in and the key was waiting for us on the kitchen bench. The interior was well designed and spacious with everything we needed for a quiet getaway. The cottage was just a short drive to Stirling and Hahndorf where we strolled through shops and tried their excellent restaurants under the autumn foliage. All in all, we felt like we have just spent a weekend in a friend's house.

We have totally fallen in love with Nornalup Homestead. From the peaceful surroundings to the cows in the fields. The fire place was definitely stand out of the house. The house was beautifully presented with lots of history information. We will definitely be back and will be raving about our holiday for a long time. Thank you for opening your home to us.

Simon’s place is in a great location with beautiful views and very peaceful. The breakfast provisions were a bonus along with a few extra treats. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for two nights. We did have some trouble getting the fire going because of the damp wood but once we contacted Simon he sorted it very quickly. Would definitely recommend a stay at Simon’s.
