This home is so beautiful, I stayed here with my big family of 9 adults and 7 children and it served us perfectly. Everyone has a comfortable bed to sleep on, our kids enjoyed the spacious house and the outdoors. We had an Easter egg hunt and it was so much fun with the great outdoors. It’s right by the river, we enjoyed the river view. It had hot showering water which I didn’t expect really. The kitchen was spacious and all the ladies of the family fit in well. I am looking to book it for Christmas for my family again if possible because it’s just perfection. The staff is so helpful and so polite ! We didn’t want to leave.

Mauro‘s stay is a wonderful oasis in the midst of Shela. We thoroughly enjoyed the location the picturesque views from the top balcony and the cosy kitchenette on the main floor. The bedrooms were comfortable, clean and spacious en-suite’s. Miss Dama the housekeeper is an excellent cook, we really enjoyed her peppered fried fish and mango avocado salad, very recommendable. Mauro was an excellent host, extremely quick to respond, offering hints, tips and advice for Lamu. I would definitely recommend Mauro‘s stay in Shela!

Absolutely loved our stay here, the home was exactly like the photos if not better, we were welcomed with them most helpful, hands on, amazing staff. The location as well was perfect right on the beach and close to everywhere in Jambiani, would recommend this place if you are planning to come to Zanzibar !!

Janet's property offers an exceptional stay experience. It provided a comfortable and homely environment. The residence was impeccably clean and exceedingly comfortable. Our group of 7 had ample space and felt genuinely welcomed. The location is both convenient and secure. Peter, the caretaker, provided outstanding hospitality and was always available to assist with any needs. We also appreciated the friendly resident dog, Tana (I hope that’s how it’s spelt). The house is fitted with modern furnishings and equipment. Janet thoughtfully provided breakfast items, including eggs, milk, and bread, which we greatly appreciated. This accommodation in Nakuru comes highly recommended, and I rate it 5 stars. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return in the future.

Thank you so much Kiko and Cathy for the amazing stay - we loved this location - so easy to get to the beach and local places to eat. The house itself is an oasis and very quiet and peaceful - we loved seeing the monkeys playing outside. Chef Erick was amazing as well and the food he cooked was wonderful and suitable for a family / small child. The pool was sparkling clean and warm and we had such a great stay! Thank you!

A most convenient location: Ubers find you easily: a short walk to Sarit Center (Mall with everything, especially Carrefour for anything you need for self-catering): daily housekeeping as in a hotel: comfortable without trying to be fancy, which often translates into twee or uncomfortable. Suited me very well for a 2 week stay. Self catered breakfast and snacks, ate out most nights except for 2. No stresses, which in Nairobi is a big positive. Will happily re book for another stay when the need arises.

Iminza’s place is perfect for a short stay. It’s not the biggest place but has everything one would need before settling down in a new city. Iminza is also a great host, always responsive and quick. Would recommend the stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Maria’s place in Dar Es Salaam! The apartment was cozy, clean, and had a very homey feel. It was easy to find, and both the check-in and check-out processes were seamless. Maria was an exceptional host—always responsive and regularly checked in to ensure everything was to our liking. She even surprised us with a complimentary breakfast package, which was a lovely touch. Having a caretaker on standby for any additional needs was also incredibly convenient. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for comfort, convenience, and outstanding hospitality

An amazing place with a beautiful flower garden

This was my 3rd stay at the Beach Cottages, so hopefully that says a lot. The marketing is honest and accurate. The setting is beautiful, all of the staff are wonderful, and very helpful. They all care, and are willing to go that extra mile to help make your stay enjoyable. Benjamin's team even made a simple gate so that my dog could be off lead in the garden around the chalet. I love it and will return.

The three nights spent at Emilienne's were the highlight of our trip to Rwanda. As soon as we arrived, we felt welcomed like at home. Emilienne shared her daily life, her stories, her work, in this house full of history. The surroundings are beautiful, the villagers welcoming and if you are lucky enough to stay during an activity offered to children, you will be even more won over! Thanks again Emilienne (as well as Marthe and Innocent), I don't know if we'll ever come back but we'll never forget Mushubati and these three days spent at your place!!

I came across a much nicer view than I saw in the pictures. My room was cleaned every day and the employees were very fluffy. The food was delicious too. Thank you so much for everything.

Simba’s apartments was a wonderful stay. Christoph was a generous and pleasant host, very available. We got to watch both the Wimbledon and Euros finals (in the bedrooms is possible too) - if you enjoy sports, it’s the right place to go. The staff was super friendly. The rooms very comfortable. And you’re a short walk from the beautiful pristine beach. SIMBA has a partnership with Mayai Hotel so you can go enjoy the pool, beach and restaurant at Mayai (10min walk away). We recommend staying here!

Catherine went above and beyond! We stayed for a night during our flight layover. She picked us up and dropped us off from the airport. She allowed us to stayed later than regular check-out until time for our flight. She even taught how to cook a local dish and gave me some spice to take home and try cooking it! I would absolutely recommend staying here!

Samira is the person you need to contact in Mafia, she knows everything and everyone. Your accommodation in Bweni is amazing. We stayed in the block house in front of the Sea, a paradise on earth. We erected the unicos on that beach. The food is wonderful, fresh fish, octopus, squid, etc. and the quite complete breakfast. We did a tour of the village with Hamici that was very good to know the daily life of local life, and being with Hamici makes a difference because he has a big heart and a big smile, "in the Blah". Last night we had the right to music and dance around the fire pit. It was unforgettable.
