Holiday rentals with a kayak in Great Rift Valley

Our stay on Bulago island at Tom's house was just great. From the house, beautifully situated above the water on the far west tip of the island, you have an amazing view over the lake, which gets even better with every step you climb up behind the house up to the hill, which is the highest point of the island. The house is fully equipped with all you need and Tom is an awesome host! We'll soon be back.

The stay with Kurtis was incredible. The place was absolutely beautiful (a real paradise). We truly felt at home. Kurtis was extremely responsive to everything we needed. We stayed for a month and worked remotely from the home with no problems at all. A great getaway for the digital nomad or someone wanting to disconnect from it all. 6 stars if I could give that. Thank you Kurtis!

Wow Wow Wow, what an amazing place. If you are looking for absolute peace and tranquility then Shanti House in Lamu is the place to go. Amazing setting right on the beach with breathtaking sunset, great beach walks, etc. The staff where great and Steven the house assistant was there to help with anything when needed. Although there is great restaurants around, no need to go out and look for restaurants as the chef Katana was amazing and his food was spectacular. I highly recommend Shanti House for anyone looking for an amazing beach holiday experience.

Thank you for having us stay at your home during our short but sweet work trip to Kilifi. It's a shame we didn't get to spend as much time as we wanted, but the little time we spent there was well worth it. On our first day there, we enjoyed the most glorious sunset on the rooftop. The house is gorgeous and beautifully designed, and the best part was the huge, comfortable beds and the incredible shower. The pool was great for my team and I; it helped us out a lot with our early mornings and late-night work. The drive to the house from the main road can be quite long and tiresome because it's a rough road, and while the home isn't far, you have to drive slowly. This, of course, wouldn't have been an issue if we were on vacation. All in all, Fig House is exactly what we needed for a film crew of 6 who require a good rest and privacy after a long day in the field. I would definitely love to come back to stay here with family, especially on holiday. Asante sana!

Come to Embedodo Beachhouse and you will feel like you are in paradise. We had spent 3 great days right by the beach. The amenities were ok. Sometimes the power went out, but you have to expect it everywhere.... There was nothing wrong with it either. You should apply mosquito repellent in the evening if you want to sit on the porch From there we did not want to go into the house in the evening because it was very pleasant from the temperatures and the sea noise gave you an extra kick. Anytime again!!

Beautiful home in a beautiful area! Staff was all very friendly and easy to communicate with. Very much appreciated the security guard on the beach in front of the house to make our experience more peaceful as well!

It was my second time here, and it really feels like home. The compound is very well kept, peaceful and beautiful. The house comfortable and clean. In the gardens, monkeys come and go during the day, making us feel like part of a National Geographic documentary. From the compound we can reach the Nile, for a swim or just to enjoy it's beauty. I can't wait to be back.

Very good place near the Nil. Very huge space inside the living room with large ceiling space that give to the house a comfort and good feeling. The presence of trees and vegetation inside de compound that makes you feel in nature. Garden very well maintain even during the raining season. I really appreciated the availability of Klin team whereas I couldn't be reached the place before 8 PM, they were there to do the check in. I will definitely come back.
