Villa Kaya is a stunning place. The house is beautiful and clean and the pool and garden are gorgeous. Florence, the housekeeper was a delight and it was a fantastic getaway for my friends and I. Location is slightly off the main road but once you enter, it’s a paradise that’s not more than 10 minutes from all the fun spots. Serene, clean and with all the needed amenities. There is a guard at night, gardner and housekeeper available. Due to the lush gardens expect one or two tiny harmless guests (moths, centipedes) around the property. Kathryn was super responsive and it was the perfect staycation for my friends and I.

Kevin’s place was so great we decided to go back again for another few days, towards the end of our trip. Everything was impeccable, and Kevin was very attentive and flexible, allowing us to have a late check out which suite our travel needs perfectly. Rose cooked a few times for us this time and her food is fabulous, we highly recommend her services, plus she was very friendly, patient and very accommodating. Another great stay at Kevin’s place, it’s home away from home. Kevin a great bloke, friendly, chatty, helpful and very responsive. We would definitely stay here again and hopefully one day we get to meet Kevin in person for a beer. Thank you, Julz and Mina ☺️.

The house is a little paradise overlooking the Creek and mangrove. all rooms are amazing and Chef Henry's food was excellent. I would recommend it without a doubt

Our stay just couldn’t be better! Nina’s place is a little paradise, the house is very spacious and clean, with a lot of areas to hang and relax. The pool was definitely a highlight for me, it was so nice to start the day with the swim and also to read a book floating on a mattress. The house is located a short walk to island’s most beautiful beach Shela and also just 5 min from the harbor. But all this would not be the same without chef’s Daniel fresh and local cooking. He treated us with fresh seafood dishes every day and his cooking was way better than any of the restaurants on the island. Already planning my return and can get boy recommend this place to anybody traveling to Lamu.

Beautiful property in the heart of Paje, walking distance from the beach and restaurants. The host and his team were very helpful and responsive. I would definitely stay there again.

My girlfriend and I stayed for four weeks. We had a fantastic time. The property is beautiful. The swimming pool is a decent size and cleaned daily. The garden is very pretty. It is located in a quiet, serene area which is great for relaxation. The town is only a short ride away (or walk if you’re feeling energetic) The beach and Congo river is a three minute walk away. The best part of this holiday, however, is the staff. Pascal the chef is amazing. He will cook whatever you like. My favourite food were the Swahili dishes. AMAZING!! Timothy the manager arranged a few excursions for us which were all great fun. The price was cheaper than I could find anywhere else. Geoffrey also made us feel welcome and was very friendly Overall, we had a fantastic time and will definitely return at some point in the future.

Great place to stay. Secluded, private and wonderfully located. Kitchen staff superlative. Pool great for all the family. Very roomy.

Our stay at Eden Escapes far exceeded our expectations! What an incredible find on the coast. From the moment we booked until we checked out, everything was impeccable. The space was even more beautiful than the photos - it was newly constructed, immaculate and stylishly decorated, and with every tiny detail thought of. The team at Eden Escapes made sure our stay was extra special - our space was always clean, the chef prepared outstanding meals, and everyone was constantly ready to provide little tips and advice about where to go or how to make our stay more memorable. The beds were cosy, the air conditioning was strong, the kitchen appliances were all new, and the towels were enormous and plush....hahah I can't say enough good things! Highly recommend - we'll definitely be back! Thank you to everyone! :)

Absolutely beautiful! Location is perfect. The house is stunning, with plenty of space for large groups, a lovely pool and breathtaking view. The staff were amazing and took great care of us. An unforgettable holiday!

We had a wonderful stay at Ibambe Villa, one of the nicest properties on the Kenyan coast. We were with two families and 4 children. Kids friendly pool, with easy and direct access to the best stretch of beach in Watamu. The house is beautiful, clean, tastefully decorated, with spacious and comfortable bedrooms. Elias and the team were very helpful. Food was amazing. Would wholeheartedly recommend Ibambe to anyone!

Natalia’s lodge was an amazing stay in an incredible location that will likely show up in my dreams now that we spent some time here. Me and 9 friends had an amazing time, with every aspect taken care of by Natalia. The chef was incredible and made amazing meals constantly throughout our trip, and the housekeeper kept the rooms super clean. There was an issue with the showers unfortunately but Natalia stayed in constant communication with us and even came to the Airbnb late at night to support. The issue was resolved and she continued to oversee repairs to ensure future guests don’t face the same thing. My birthday also fell around the time of our stay and she made sure to make it incredible, even providing a wonderful mango cake. Natalia and the staff at the lodge made our Zanzibar trip and we would love to come again!

Prachtig huis met alles erop en eraan! Mc Donald en zijn team zorgden voor heerlijke maaltijden op maat. We hebben genoten van de eerste dag . Heerlijk zwembad en relax mogelijkheden. En alles was piekfijn in orde! Een aanrader. !

Come for the views, stay for the food! What a beautiful spot with tons of space to spread out. The house and grounds were gorgeous, located on a pristine beach, yet relatively private. The staff were all super helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Pool was refreshing, yet surprisingly deep. Chef Nixon made us amazing seafood dishes all week. Only draw back was the lack of A/C in the bedrooms, which most comparably priced stays offer in the area. Check out the kite surfing, SUP, and kayaking rentals right next store. During low tide, head straight out half a mile to the sandbar and enjoy hunting for starfish!

This place was an amazing stay. The staff at Solymar was absolutely spectacular and kind. We felt right at home and the food was delicious as well.

Wir hatten 5 nächte gebucht und es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir 2 nächte verlängert haben. Das haus ist sehr schön gelegen die aussicht auf die creek und das meer ist atemberaubend. An diesem ort kommt man sehr einfach zur ruhe. Tom und die crew machen einen fantastischen job. Das essen war weltklasse. Obwohl sie sehr zuvorkommend waren hatten wir immer genügend privatsphäre. Wir haben uns sofort zuhause gefühlt. Ein richtiges juwel an der küste von kenia. Nach der buchung haben wir ein sehr gutes dokument mit möglichen aktivitäten, kontakten und informationen zur umgebung bekommen. Der spatziergang bei low tide in der creek ist wunderschön. ;) enjoy

Anne’s place was modern and clean. The staff was amazing and went over and beyond to accommodate us whether it came to booking tours/ excursions or something we randomly needed around the property. I would 100% recommend if you're looking for a balance between remote and relaxation but close enough to get to the main attractions of the island.

Absolute rustic beach-front paradise and such a lovely team of staff! Ocean views are stunning and tennis court is a lot of fun. Jacquie is amazingly responsive and so helpful. Thank you so much!

es war eine sehr schöne Unterkunft. Es war wie auf den Bildern zutreffend alles gut beschrieben. Super Summer Service. Auch die Restaurant Karte war super frisch gepresste Säfte reichlich Auswahl an Getränken sowie diverse Speisen. Auch für Alkoholliebhaber gab es genug Auswahl von Wein bis zu Champagner. Die Lage ist etwas ruhig, aber perfekt zum abschalten Fußweg zum Strand sind 7 Minuten maximal und ein sehr ruhiger Strand. Man wird nicht voll gelabbert wer also eine ruhigen Gegend will und einen ruhigen Strand ist, dort genau richtig bei dem Tourismus entfliehen möchte, auch die Privatsphäre wird dir sehr gut beachtet und die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett vor allem Juma leider habe ich die Namen der anderen Mitarbeiter vergessen aber alle waren super hilfsbereit und haben tolle Arbeit geleistet und Ruslan war ein toller Gastgeber ging auf jeden Wunsch ein

Byron and his assistants were very responsive and helpful with every aspect of our stay. It is a beautiful place, nice pool and open layout, very short walk to a nice beach and restaurants, stores.

The house was cozy and very private in an idyllic location steps from the beach. The staff, Elizabeth and Duca are wonderful and made our stay so comfortable. The hosts are very responsive and accommodating. Can’t wait to come back.

This is truly a one of a kind villa- perfect for long term stays as the rare feature of uninterrupted solar electricity is a luxury in Zanzibar. Arnaud is a kind stalwart host, ready to attend to the villa at anytime. Anne is superb at sweet efficient communication. They really know how to make you feel at home. The 24 hour Maasi attendant and 3 cool dogs ensure a safe stay. The villa is situated perfectly between Kendwa and Nungwi beaches, two pristine beaches which can be reached in a short walk or ride. Grocery stores are a quick walk as well. Barakana restaurant delivery has plenty of yummy menu choices. The villa is perfectly equipped with spacious rooms and ample shelving. The bathrooms are fantastic! Extra large showers with hot water and Kardashian luxury disappearing sinks- allowing space for an entire family's toiletries. The rooftop pool penthouse lounge is marvelous, offerring panoramic sunrises and sunsets and exquisite star filled nights under the African sky.
