Shellbraes Studio

AifricRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Thanks so much for a wonderful stay at your studio cottage. We wanted a couple days away from the city to unwind and this was the perfect place for that. The cottage is located on a farm, meaning we had cute little lambs coming up to our window to say hello. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The cosy fire stove was a lovely touch, the kitchen facilities were great, shower pressure excellent and a really comfortable bed. The little courtyard was lovely for breakfast. It is about a 15 minute drive from Hexham town, where we ate both nights. Would really recommend Cilantro- an Indian restaurant with a Mexican twist. We also drove 30 minutes to The Sill to do a 12km loop around Hadrian's Wall which we would really recommend. Would definitely stay again :)

Hall Yards Cottage

ClaireRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay at Hall Yard Cottage, the location was in a lovely village, friendly neighbours and great walks on the doorstep. The hosts left some welcome goodies which were much appreciated. The only feedback we have is that it wasn’t mentioned where we could park in the information pack until one of the neighbours told us. The cottage was very clean, dog friendly and we will definitely return.

Perfect for couples, in the heart of Hexham.

Fabulous place no expense spared in the accommodation. Could not say a negative word about it . French restaurant and the Indian restaurant were excellent . Great place for exploring other surrounding areas . Corbridge is really worth a visit too and only a few miles away .

Modern and Contemporary Mossø Cabin

SarahRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed here for 2 nights after our mini wedding. The location was perfect and the layout of the cabins meant you had privacy all around you. The cabin was very modern and immaculate and we felt very relaxed during our stay. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook while we were there and the whole experience was just lovely. Hosts were excellent and very responsive to any questions we had. We were sad to leave, we definitely recommend and hopefully get back some time.

Private Annex in Corbridge Farmhouse

StephenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We wanted a countryside location and enjoyed walking to Corbridge as well as travelling to local sites near Hadrian’s Wall. The Annex was a great base, and we managed to cook in the alcove discreetly fitted within the living room. Sonja and John gave recommendations for routes, pubs and hidden gems such as Allen Banks and Steel Rigg car park. Sitting in their garden was great too, as was the welcome pack for our arrival. Many thanks again for sharing with us.
