Great place to stay. My group and I enjoyed the scenery, and the cleanliness and space of the house. Beautiful place, will definitely be staying here again.

Our stay at the farm loft in Carrollton, Illinois was absolutely delightful. The space is adorable, tastefully decorated, cozy, and incredibly comfortable. It was the ideal retreat from the summer heat, staying refreshingly cool even on the warmest days. The location couldn’t be better. Nestled right in the heart of the quaint town of Carrollton, the loft is just a short stroll from a variety of charming boutiques and local gems. Whether I was enjoying a relaxing morning coffee or exploring the nearby shops, everything I needed was right at my fingertips. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with small-town charm and thoughtful touches. I’ll definitely be back!

We were visiting White Hall from Indianapolis, IN for a family wedding. The wedding was in Carrollton, IL and the reception was in Jacksonville, IL so the Humble Hideaway in White Hall was the perfect place to stay for easy access to both locations. Lindsey is a great host and quickly responded to our questions! We enjoyed Brantzel's Coffee and Creamery, also co-owned by Lindsey and her husband, for ice cream after the wedding and breakfast the next morning before we headed back to Indy! We would definitely stay at the Humble Hideaway again the next time we come to visit!

This is our 2nd year to stay here. Location is perfect and walkable to downtown. The accommodations are perfect for our families with 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms--1 has 2 twin beds. Deidre is always responsive and friendly. Everything is very clean and well provided for. Even a bowl of candy by the door! The young adult kids traveling with us LOVE the game room. Very comfortable. Neighborhood is safe. The bedrooms are upstairs, as described, so may not be the place for you if you are unable to climb stairs. There is road noise, but I ran a sound machine, and others used ear plugs (provided in the bathroom) and we had no problems sleeping. You may wish to bring an eye mask if you plan to sleep in. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!

This was a nice old house in a small town. We needed a place to stay while making funeral arrangements for a family member. It was perfect for us and peaceful. Much nicer than any of the hotels nearby and very reasonably priced.

The Cosy Rose Cottage was exactly that! Very cute comfortable and cozy house. Beautiful yard. Just what we wanted and needed for the weekend.
