Great mountain house! House was clean and had everything we needed. The host sent us local recommendations and checkin/out was easy!

The Airbnb advertisement for the house does not adequately convey how nice this place actually is! Most of the items in the house: furniture, appliances, cookware, grill, bedding, towels, etc. are of high quality and excellent condition. The interior of the house is open, spacious and beautiful. It has high ceilings in most rooms, and a vaulted ceiling over the kitchen, dining room, family room, living room, and foyer. Barbara and Mike gave our girls a tour of the sheep farm and let them meet their dog. They were also responsive quick to take action whenever we had issues (like tripping a circuit breaker and running out of propane). For an additional charge of $75, they warmed up the pool for me twice because I am not a fan of water temps in the low 80s. The location is beautiful and secluded, but you can get to Shenandoah hiking trails in 20-30 minutes or Walmart/Safeway in 15 minutes. We loved our time here and would definitely stay at Peacefield again.

Great property. Owners left great instructions, and the house was private. The deer were an added bonus with the hot tub. Will be back for the winter. 5 Stars

We had a wonderful getaway at Seths place in Rockingham. Perfect location for a group of 12 girlfriends that wanted to relax. Loved the pool and the porch/patio! Felt like Tuscany. Seth and Carla were extremely responsive to the couple of small issues we had. Definitely recommend.

This was a great affordable option for our multi-family vacation with a wide range of ages (adults, teens and toddlers). The separate living rooms were nice when our group wanted to participate in different activities. Everything was clean and stocked. When we had questions, Jeff was quick to respond and provided helpful information. We also enjoyed using the Massanutten Resort's amenities (pickleball courts, rec center, etc.) We loved our stay!

My husband, brother, and two of our friends spent the weekend at Brad’s house and we had a lovely time. It was extremely conducive to relaxing. We cooked our meals there. The kitchen was very clean and we had found everything we needed for our meals. We were able to use lies the front porch. The pool was closed, but it looked very nice. Brad is an amazing host. He will answer your questions quickly. I would highly recommend staying at Brad’s place to anyone.

Our stay was everything we could have wanted for a weekend with friends. James was extremely helpful, flexible, and communicative, and the house is clean, well stocked, and packs a lot of space & fun into a small footprint.

Pondside Farmhouse is an absolute gem! The property is stunning, tucked away in the trees with a spring-fed pond that’s perfect for kayaking and swimming. The large pavilion on the water was our go-to spot for relaxing with a book and a coffee. The house had plenty of room for us. We loved gathering in the open kitchen and dining space, and the fireplace made it feel cozy and homey. The beds were super comfortable and the bedrooms spacious and quiet. We spent hours in the game room playing arcade games and darts, and then ventured into the hot tub at night. We also spent time sitting at the fire pit..the string lights made it feel like a special event. So much fun!

This home is so charming, dripping in history, tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need. It feels so off the beaten path but Charlottesville is within easy reach. You feel a real sense of peacefulness and calm here, and Virginia is a very responsive host.

We had a great stay at Elizabeth's place. We used the house mainly for sleeping as we spent the days visiting nearby family, but we were very comfortable there and hope to stay there again the next time we're in the area. Thanks so much for having us!

I can't say enough about Barefoot Bungalow. First, Caitlin, such an INCREDIBLE host, was so friendly, always got back to my questions/messages. Instructions were so clear. The place itself was AMAZING! So incredibly clean, organized, and very welcoming. We were there for our daughter's JMU graduation and my entire family absolutely LOVED the place. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with everything we needed. While we brought groceries and drinks, we were able to make a full family celebratory dinner and the kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed from pots and pans to sugar and spices! The pillows, linens and towels were fresh and clean. Plenty of space inside and outside, inviting and welcoming. Has to be one of, if not the nicest places we've stayed at. I can't say enough good things about this Airbnb, other than if you ever are in that area, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND Caitlin's place!

A very pretty house to spend a few days in. It was extremely well stocked. The kitchen had every sort of appliance, plate, and tool you might need. The foosball and ping-pong table were fun and board games were plentiful. We really enjoyed the fireplace. The driveway, as described, was indeed steep. With any ice or snow, you do need a four-wheel-drive vehicle. It was clear weather during our stay and we were fine in our sedan.

Excellent location to explore the park. The place is spacious and clean. The kitchen is well-equipped. The host is very responsive.

This little house was the PERFECT place for a relaxing bachelorette getaway. We were near wonderful wineries and restaurants, but could return to a serene little hideaway when we finished up. The house is breezy, cozy, and accommodated 8 adults easily. We loved sitting together on the front porch each morning for coffee!! The hosts are so kind and went above and beyond to make our stay special.

Amazing place in Virginia! Would definitely recommend if you want a very peaceful place to spend some time with your loved ones. Everything was great, the hosts are very communicative and very flexible all throughout the stay. Beautiful backyard and land with lots of great things to do around the area. A beautiful home on a beautiful property. Pretty cool to stay in an older home as well. The host reached out to us upon check in, and when the internet didn’t work well, they quickly came to remedy the situation. Great for people who want to get away and explore the mountains.

House was really great! Very spacious kitchen area with everything you could possibly need! Spacious backyard with a fire pit was perfect for the kids to run around and hang out. Overall the house was clean and neat, would definitely recommend!

Hillhaven is the perfect getaway, located in the Shenandoah Valley with a view of Old Rag from its spacious and well-appointed kitchen and cozy living room. Located off the beaten path for privacy and tranquility, it is still close to cute towns, historic landmarks, and even fine dining, and it’s less than an hour drive to two entrances to Shenandoah National Park. The recently remodeled home boasts ample living space and really comfortable beds for up to eight people. The host has ensured that guests have access to conveniences including Wi-Fi, Smart TV, laundry, and much more. The interior is rivaled by the exterior acreage. We had meals on the front porch and relaxed at dusk on the backyard firepit area. The immediate area was great fun to walk to the river and its swinging bridge and listen to the birds and cows. We loved everything about this home and its location and plan to return with friends as soon as we can!

This cabin was so cozy, and felt like just the perfect getaway in the mountains. We were comfortable, even when it rained under the covered wrap patio. So many games to choose from and beautiful views as well.
