Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Greymouth

We had to book this home immediately as our previous accommodation was unavailable. We had travelled 3 hours and as soon as I booked the home, Rob allowed us to head there right away instead of waiting for the check-in time. He called to make sure we made it in the house comfortably as well as being on call the entire time if I had a question or query. He was friendly and saved the trip! The view of the lake is beautiful too! The train runs in-front of the house and at first we thought it may be annoying but actually we enjoyed seeing it go past and it didn’t interrupt our sleep. The house is in walking distance to local tracks and to the lake. Fantastic weekend, thank you Rob!

Lovely warm comfortable spacious house - a very welcoming homely house with lots of carparking too.

We enjoyed our winter-weekend stay at Gary’s place. Nice quiet location close to beach and cycle trail. Great wood-burner with lots of firewood. Very useful garage for bikes.

Really simple,. comfortable warm home. All you need for breakfast and all small things thought of. Great hosts..

Highly recommend this place to stay whilst you explore the beautiful Punakaiki zone, excellent town amenities only a few minutes drive and gorgeous bush walks all on your doorstep, sunsets and views magnificent! The house is beautifully appointed in every way and has everything there for the perfect stay.

Such a peaceful and private setting but still only a few minutes from Hokitika. House was so airy and light with gorgeous views of the mountains and lovely bush nearby. The trails were a delight out to the pond and kept our children entertained. The decks on different sides of the house meant depending on where the sun or breeze was, you could sit in comfort outside. Multiple living areas meant the adults and children were not on top of each other. Lovely bedrooms, great beds, super kitchen, yes it certainly ticked all the boxes.

What an amazing jewel of a place. It felt like we were in a treehouse in the sky. A teensy bit rustic feeling at first , but once we sat sown and took in the specialness and beauty, we were amazed at how cool it was. Fabulous star gazing opportunity at night. Super comfortable!

This was a lovely place to stay, I wish we had more time here on our trip. Super clean, nice amenities, friendly staff, beach access with cool stones to look at while the waves roll them over and over. We somehow lucked out and were placed in a private corner of the resort. Kids would have a blast here with all of the extra activities available.Sunset was stunning to experience. I would use their other locations in NZ too if I travel this way again based off of this experience.

A room in a slightly worn villa with several rooms for rent. Nicely decorated and located close to the village main street. We were the only occupants and it was very quiet. We did not use the kitchen, so cannot comment. Overall it was perfectly serviceable and we thought good value. Paula called us to check we had found a room, as we were given no room number. Nice touch and happy customers

Loved the property - the lights and signs directing you around the property were great. We loved the glow worms!

Well the pictures instantly appealed- but it’s much larger in real life. The accessibility for me of being able to check in at 9pm was very helpful and as I had a lot of gear with me having the door at the front was very useful for loading and unloading. The details in the memrobilia were very interesting and yet a classic collection that was visually appealing A very classy apartment. Also much warmer and quieter that I had expected.

Wow... That was our main word for this stay. The location and view was incredible. It instantly felt like a real relaxing getaway. We noticed some issues around cleanliness that I will share directly with the host so that they are aware, as this place deserves the best! The hot tub was an absolute highlight. Such a friendly and responsive host to chat to online. We had a fabulous time here and we definitely hope to return to this oasis on the hill!

Desiree's place was fantastic. Such a fun place to stay, hated leaving in the morning. Would return again and again. Desiree was an absolute gem. Could've have asked for a more helpful, friendly host.

Had an amazing stay with Paula and Miles, easy check-in, the whole house was clean and had no issues during my stay.

House was tidy and the fire was going when we got there. Location was great, pretty much right on the main street.

A short but comfortable stay. The lit fire bought a smile to my face after a long Day. Thank you for making us feel welcome.
