Holiday rentals with breakfast in Groningen

Quaint and cosy accommodation which is also in walking distance to everything! Really felt like "home away from home". We will return! Thank you

We arrive just for a weekend to see the Devin Townsend concert, but was amazing, first we arrived early than expected (11:00 hrs) but she recieved us anyway, the decoration and the ambient was amazing and of course the beautiful cat "Coco", also we had really good connection to public transport, thank you Tineke, sorry if we dont share too much with you but we dont had so much time to know the city, Greetings Antonia & Gabriel

Ria is an incredibly hospitable host with a very nice stay. The room I stayed in was very spacious with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was also very neat and in the utility room there was a microwave available to possibly warm up a meal. I have also noticed that Ria is very flexible with breakfast. If you are not allowed to do something or do not like something, you can tell her Furthermore, the house is within walking distance from a bus stop, making it very accessible. Should I ever be in the area, I would definitely stay here again.

I highly recommend Rommy's place. Very friendly and helpful hosts, well equipped room, house in a lovely garden. Bus stop to Groningen nearby. Shop in walking distance .There is also a nice lake if you want to go for a walk.

For a party in Niehoven, we were looking for an overnight stay in the neighborhood. Addie offered exactly what we needed. Slept well and Addie provided a nice breakfast, which we unfortunately no longer needed after a night of partying.

Roelie is very open and friendly. She explained everything to us on arrival and gave us tips for the area. Everything was super clean and the bed really very cozy. We both got a delicious breakfast in the room tomorrow, where we could choose the time freely. The location is also great, you can walk to the city in 20 minutes. If we come to Groningen again, I would choose this accommodation again.

Alfred and Annalies are friendly hosts, who respond quickly to messages. We were warmly welcomed and felt at home in the room. The room was large, tidy and clean, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was extensive and very tasty. The only downside for us were the pillows, these were a bit too thin and too soft for us, but otherwise everything was completely fine. very good stay. Super available and kind host, tjs ready to help. super comfortable bed. Gde bathroom with products available. excellent breakfast. and very varied. I recommend it. Just, the house number should be more visible as we arrived at night.

I had arrived later than expected, closer to the check in time actually, but Roelie was more than understanding and patient as I updated her about 3 or 4 different times with each update my expected time of arrival being later than the previous. The place is incredibly cozy and clean, it felt like a home away from home, I only stayed for one night to handle some business in the area early the next morning so I opted out of getting breakfast. But I'll definitely be staying again in the future for a peaceful getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jikkestyn. For the children, there was a lot to discover (indoor with lots of toys, bunk bed, etc. - outdoor with about 180 different animals, trampoline, etc.), for us the long-awaited peace. What surprised us was that the area was extremely touristy and we got through everything with English or German. All in all, a picture book stay that we can always recommend for families with young children!

We were super great short stay and were also able to enjoy the tranquility of the lovingly nature-connected and sustainable farm. Great out-door kitchen, lovely people and super service. I would come back anytime. The attention to detail and artistic influences complete the farm perfectly. Thanks for that :)

What a beautiful place, I really enjoyed the stay and the jacuzzi, walked wonderfully with the dogs in the beautiful surroundings and Gerard and his wife Rieke are incredibly friendly!

The welcome is very warm. You stay in a very neat, nicely decorated room, with a good bed. There is a bathtub, and beautiful shower all in pristine condition. I was unable to enjoy breakfast. This had to be confirmed in advance at an additional cost, which I had overlooked.

Siska was a great host from the beginning, she was very friendly and welcoming! The room is light and spacious and had everything I needed. The house is not too far from the city center and is easy to reach. Even more so if you rent a bicycle - which I recommend, because Groningen is a great city to discover by bike. :) Oh, and Siska's breakfast is delicious, you don't want to miss it. We were completely delighted to stay in the "Vliegtuig". The small apartment is so individually and well equipped, Frederique such a friendly host and breakfast a dream. The apartment is very quiet and even has its own small garden. It doesn't get any better. Thanks!

What a nice b&b. We received a warm and friendly welcome, and it is a nice quiet place. The room is not very big but had exactly the two most important things we were looking for: Nice (and cared for with attention and love) breakfast and wonderful beds. We would love to come back here again!

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful room! It was even more stunning and well-organized than the photos. The interior design was tasteful and elegant, with so much attention to detail throughout the house and room — it truly felt special. Located in the heart of nature, it offered the perfect mix of comfort and peace. The apartment was fully equipped — a complete kitchen with tea, coffee, utensils, and thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. There was an optional paid service for meal preparation and snacks, plus a generous complimentary breakfast. One of my favorite parts was the outdoor seating in the backyard garden — a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating. Knowing I had to leave early due to travel plans, they kindly woke up at 5 AM to prepare breakfast for me and pack it to-go. That level of care truly stood out. Highly recommended — I’d absolutely love to return!

We were in the oldest room and were immediately thrilled! So much effort and love has been put into this house. Amazing! Wonderful location right on the dike, alpacas, horses, cats and cats on the farm. A real dream for people who like to be in the countryside. The family is super friendly, speaks good German and is very accommodating. Breakfast was always sufficient and very tasty. We will be happy to come back!

Very surprising, colorful, artistic environment. You imagine yourself in a museum and are overwhelmed by the sights and sounds. Unfortunately, the weather was bad, but we still had a tour of the garden and sat by the campfire. Joppe is very friendly and hospitable, he also gave us a tour of his studio and art storage. What a place! It's not just an overnight stay here but a complete experience that you won't forget.
