Though modern in most aspects we have retained the native charm of unfinished wood, rough, hand-hewn logs and naked beams. The inspiration for the cabin was found by my great grandfather who spent time in Alaska working on the Alcan highway.

The Walnut house does not disappoint . I've stayed here several times. After a long journey, it's great walking into a clean, beautiful cozy home. Sitting in the backyard was so peaceful, going downtown is "a must do". The beds are comfy, the kitchen spotless and it had everything we needed. The home is so nicely decorated, with plenty of space for our little gatherings. Susan is amazing to work with, always gets back to me right away, she made a special accommodation for me! These are just a few of many reasons why I keep booking this sweet gem, The Walnut House!
