Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Grundy County

Amazing stay! The power went out due to storms in the area, but that didn’t stop us from busting out candles and having a game night. Super cozy and beautiful home even in bad weather! 10/10 Will stay here again

We were traveling long distance and needed something relaxing not far from the highway. I wish we’d had time to stay longer at this delightful cabin! This was everything we needed, dog friendly, clean and cozy. I especially enjoyed the large screened porch out back! I enthusiastically recommend this place!

A friend and I spent a week in this delightful cabin while attending a painting workshop and we just loved it. It feels like a private and peaceful hideaway. We didn’t do a lot of cooking, but found the kitchen well equipped for the meals that we did prepare there. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of thick, soft towels. The location was lovely! We sat out on the back porch every evening, watching the sunset. We happened to be there at the right time to watch fireflies do their magical dance through the evening air. We would definitely return!

Amazing property. Everything was exactly how it was described in the listing, or better. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. Our stay was peaceful and quiet with an incredible view.

The best stay ever! Can't beat this location. The hiking was great! The sound of the falls were so peaceful. Beds were comfortable. I've stayed at 40+ airbnbs and this one is at the top. Great host, too! Can't wait to come back!

We had a lovely weekend at the Fox Retreat! Even though there was a city-wide power outage during our stay, the experience was still amazing. We drove just 10 minutes to the nearest town, grabbed a bite to eat, picked up a few candles, and came back to create a romantic evening by candlelight. The host let us know right away that the outage affected all of Tracy City, not just the retreat, which was reassuring. Thankfully, the power was back on the next day. The retreat itself is peaceful, well-stocked with amenities, and beautifully designed—perfect for relaxation. We even got to meet a few of the other guests staying on the property, and it added a fun and friendly touch to the weekend. Every morning was tranquil, and every night felt magical. The host was extremely responsive and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind, recharge, and enjoy nature with a touch of luxury. We’ll definitely be back!

The condo was exactly as listed. We had a great stay. The condo is clean and comfortable. The views are beautiful! Kitchen stocked with all the basics. Close to grocery stores, restaurants and you can be downtown and most attractions in 20 minutes. The mattress may need a rotate & flip there is a dip in the middle.

we loved our stay at the Yurt! It was exactly what we wanted! We enjoyed the hotub, pool, volleyball court, basketball court and the petting zoo! We also did the hiking trail across the street where you can visit AL, GA, and TN! Just be prepared it is very steep and you’ll feel very accomplished once you get to the top! My only complaint is we had many flies in our room, I believe they were coming from the 3 bags of trash that sat outside of the yurt hopefully this was a one time thing!

I love the space, location and host. It was only 1 issue we had but issue I had I’ll keep that private because I don’t not wish for it to be a spotlight of the great space.

This was hands down the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Becky was very attentive & her & Russell are so friendly. They took such great care of us. We recommend them to anyone. This place was worth every penny and we couldn’t be happier to now know Becky & Russell. Anytime we are in the area we will be staying here 100%

I came from Michigan to see my brother in the ICU. I got to Chattanooga while visiting hours were closed, but Becky & Cali wete wonderful and let us check in early! The place so super nice & cozy, they had basically everything incase you forgot(which we did in such a rush). They were lovely people communicating with, easy check in - and out. The pool was nice and warm too. You could hear the upstairs but we expected that and it was once or twice nothing bad at all! They were also super apologetic and friendly people, we got to chat outside. I’d definitely book again.

My husband and I came up to Chattanooga to spend time with my daughter and son-in-law as well as to see a comedians show. The Airbnb was in lovely surroundings and very peaceful. It felt like we were out in the peaceful woods even though we were minutes away from downtown, the arena where Nate Bargatze performed and multiple restaurants. It is one bedroom and not incredibly spacious but has beautiful outdoor space and is perfect for a private retreat or a quiet getaway. Bonnie was friendly and easily accessible.

This was an excellent Airbnb. The unit was lovely and everything was extremely clean. We loved the location, as it was just a quick five minute drive to downtown, as well as other areas we visited. The hosts were kind and professional. They communicated proactively and also responded immediately when we had questions. Thank you for a great stay!

My wife and stayed here with our two young children for the weekend. The property is secluded and relaxing but close to everything that the area has to offer from hiking to restaurants in Monteagle or Sewanee. The house was very clean and well-equipped. The weather wasn’t great the weekend we were there so we didn’t get to take full advantage of the property as there is great outdoor seating and a fire pit. Overall it was a great stay.

Overall a great stay. Would 10/10 recommend. The only critique is that the wall wooden panels adjacent to the bed shed a bit and fall onto the sheets. Makes sense because it’s part of the rustic cabin appeal but a bit uncomfortable from a practical sleeping sense. Had a fantastic stay other than that.

My family and I enjoyed our brief stay in the Tree Loft - what a magical woodsy adventure. We enjoyed the fire pit, and the clean and rustic, yet comfortable qualities to this cozy A-frame. The record player was a nice touch, and had a classic selection. Our daughter loved having her own loft area to hang in. Our advice is to not follow GPS (unless you enjoy off roading). The host provides better directions once you book ;)

We rented the cabin for a weekend getaway and it was perfect. We had a wonderful time and it was so nice to unplug. We were able to cook, enjoy some downtime, and relax. Would definitely book it again. We noticed that the temperature would autocorrect but after looking in his helpful guidebook we were able to get to set the temperature to hold overnight. It also had plenty of recommendations for places to visit locally.

Loved this place I definitely recommend! It was private but also had other homes nearby so you weren’t completely alone in the woods haha. They recommended amazing hiking spots that my husband and I went to see and it was so fun. We’re from Illinois so it’s mostly corn fields so hiking through mountains and seeing the waterfalls was just an amazing experience. Overall this home was lovely and our hosts were friendly/great people. Must see.

We loved our stay here! The house is remote, but the views and amenities were well worth it. Be sure to pack in your groceries as there isn’t anything close. If you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful place to spend with family and friends, this is it! We had our two kids with us and hiked waterfall trails in the area during the day, then came back and cooked dinner and relaxed in the hot tub in the evening. Definitely a wonderful place to relax and unplug.
