This was my third vacation to La Habana and I brought a friend with me to experience the culture of Havana. I selected this Maylin’s place based on the reviews and knew it was a very desirable location. I would agree with the reviews that I read regarding Maylin’s place and really enjoyed our 9 day stay. Javier and Ivis are the onsite hosts were very kind and quick to respond to any questions or concerns – I couldn’t have asked for better attention. I communicated with google translate with no problem. It is an incredible location and the balcony overlooking Plaza Vieja that can’t be beat. You can see locals going about their daily lifes and the sounds of live Cuban music from the restaurants around the Plaza. Make sure to have your phone “unlocked” before arriving and get a Cuban SIM for connection. I hope to stay here again. Any problems we experienced are normal in Cuba and are not exclusive to this place and should not reflect negatively on our wonderful hosts.

The stay was wonderful! The service was incredible from the beginning, always with quick, complete answers that helped us. The apartment is comfortable, has air conditioning in the bedroom, is close to cafes, restaurants, well-known squares, downtown Havana. And the highlight was Leysa, who helped us with absolutely EVERYTHING we needed and in a super kind way. As it was our first time in Cuba, we were not familiar with some of the local dynamics, such as shopping, money exchange, etc. I highly recommend this apartment!

My family and I had the most wonderful stay in Villa Vera. We all believed it had to be the greatest Airbnb in the city. We were given a Cuban phone which was extremely useful. Yenier's staff always responded to us right away and they gave us so many great recommendations. We did a full day beach excursion and were taken to the most gorgeous spot. The phone was also very helpful to arrange for taxis to take us where we needed to go, often at the last minute. We also made the very smart choice to have a dinner cooked by the private chef on our first night. What an absolute treat it was, the food was incredible, probably the best meal we had in Havana. Having dinner in the house is a must. The staff was extremely kind and attentive. Having wifi in the house was excellent as it can be difficult to come by internet in Havana. Overall our stay was close to flawless, and I would definitely stay in Villa Vera again.

This apartment was perfect—clean, safe, and the private balcony delivered incredible sunset views over Havana. We hitchhiked into the city (common in Cuba), and it cost $10–$15 USD to get to Centro and Habana Vieja. Armando, the property manager, was kind, responsive, and helped us prepare for the infrastructure challenges in Cuba. Electricity outages happen daily for 3–4 hours and don’t follow a strict schedule. Bring power banks (ideally with DC outlets for the WiFi). Restaurants can’t operate well during outages, bring lots of snacks like energy bars, and a water filter such as a LifeStraw. Bottled water is hard to find—Armando sells small bottles for $1. Petty theft is rising due to economic hardship, so stay alert, especially at night. We were three women and had no issues, but stayed aware and made local friends who looked out for us. Despite these challenges, Havana is vibrant, resilient, and welcoming. Tourism is vital now—don’t skip it. This is the place to stay.

Javier's place is clean and had all of the amenities we needed during our 4 night stay. The building's condition was average in the developing neighborhood of Vedado that's very close to the Malecon with spectacular sunsets. There are delicious restaurants in a walkable distance, and the Caribbean Sea can be seen to the left and Revolutionary Square to the right from the skyline balcony. Javier's team of hosts, tour guides, and taxi drivers took care of us throughout our stay, especially Eduardo who took us on a day trips to Old Havana, Saturn Cave, Mantanzas, and Veradado Beach. Great people and location in Havana!

Marcia is an amazing host, extremely friendly and responsive. The apartment amenities and decoration are top-notch, and you will find that it is better than described in the ad. It is located in the heart of Vedado.

This housing is top notch! Yes, when you decide to stay in a rooftop in old Havana, you have to count on a lot of stairs..) I'm just saying.. The apartment is bright, beautiful with a huge terrace with views in all directions and with the CAPITOLIó literally in the palm of your hand. Definitely get up for the sunrise. And the hosts? Great people, friendly, helpful in everything. I definitely recommend! You won't regret it!

Great place to stay with local vibe. Awesome breakfast, and hosts are kind and honest. Particular mention to Saul and Ofelia who are trustworthy and both offer superb customer service.

The description and photos are as published Very comfortable and practical Although it is 2 blocks from the Capitol, we don't think the location is the best... we arrived on a Sunday and it was full of people... This apartment is by far the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. The design is spectacular with brand new high end finishes and furniture. It has triple exposures, 2 balconies and probably one of the best views of Havana. Also the service is like a 5 star hotel, only better. Excellent price/ value and highly recommended.

Excellent peaceful small homestay in a beautiful tropical garden very close to the beach. Many places for breakfast and lunch.

A highly recommended place! My husband and I stayed for a weekend with our dog and the experience couldn't have been better. Janet is a great host who made us feel at home and made everything easier to make the stay even better. The pool area is incredible and you are also a few meters from the beach. A 10/10, we will definitely be back.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mercy Y Felix’s beautiful condo in La Habana, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, Felix was a gracious and welcoming host—warm, helpful, and always available to answer questions or offer great local recommendations. The condo itself was absolutely stunning, spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated, and filled with natural light. The view from the balcony captured the vibrant charm of Havana, and the location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk from cultural landmarks, and authentic Cuban cafes. It felt both peaceful and perfectly connected to the energy of the city. Me Encanta La Habana, Cuba!

Great accommodation with a very nice hostess, apartment was very nice, clean and had everything you need. She gave us several tips on what to do and how to find our way around Havana, which was very helpful. Always responded quickly. In general, I can only recommend the accommodation. ❤️

One of the best stays I’ve had in central Cuba. This property was top tier and had the right Wi-Fi speed for work. The rooms were well cleaned and comfy. Thanks to my Host for making sure my stay was “Home away from home”. I will be back!

Simply spectacular! Wow! The pictures don’t do this place justice. As soon as you walk in you are overtaken by the size- it’s huge! At some moments it feels like you’re in a labyrinth and in disbelief that, “wait, there’s more?” This house is a historic structure that has carefully and pristinely maintained. The level of cleanliness and comfort have exceeded 98% of the Airbnbs (and yes, in the US) that we have stayed in (and we have stayed in really nice places). I failed to ask where the mattresses are from, but they feel as if they were intended for royalty. The decor, furniture, flooring, ceiling… everything is perfect. This could easily serve and be described as a mini museum that you get to sleep in. Cary and Felix are exceptional hosts. Words are not enough to express our gratitude for the experience we had in this beautiful apartment! The apartment itself gorgeous, very spacious and extremely well decorated. We loved every detail! There were terraces and views in every direction! Breakfast on the terrace upstairs every morning was delicious and stunning! And pool was wonderful for our tired bodies and feet that danced all day and night. And July, our host was absolutely the best!!!! He was so sweet, helpful and accommodating!! We will be back for sure!!

One of the best airbnb's we ever had! Perfect location, nice restaurants and shops closeby and very close to the centre of Havana. The appartment is perfect, lots of space, great wifi, big kitchen with espresso machine! The best is the rooftop with different terraces where you can relax in the jacuzzi and sit comfortable during day and night with a drink and nice view of the sea and the city! Yoanne and Azaray are the best, they are always available for help and tips. We will come back for sure!

Amazing space! KC took care of us from start to finish from ordering us taxes, find good rates for us and just being available for any mishap we experienced. She was super accommodating and responsive to any question or request we had. Our breakfast was wonderful everyday we had it ordered. Book the space if you’re unsure of how to navigate Havana, she will handle it!
