Heavenly! From the location high up in the mountains surrounded by the beauty of the Puerto Rican jungle to the home itself with the classic Puerto Rican home feel of yester-years, this place is truly spectacular. Our stay was wonderful. I recommend downloading the PDF file Angelique sends as it is very detailed with instructions and easy to read. The trail to the river is fairly extreme and do not recommend it to children or elderly BUT if you are able bodied and up for a crazy adventure it is truly worth it because the river is pristine and untouched. Water is super clear and after the hike it is soothing and relaxing. You will not encounter anyone else, and it will be all to yourself. Truly was a blast. Thank you, Angelique, this was a true gem and an experience of a lifetime, one we will never forget.

We loved this house and continue to rave about it now that we are back in Chicago. The house was spacious and super peaceful. We loved the massage chair and that we could relax and chat with friends as they cooked. The family area was large enough for all 5 of us to sit comfortably. Great water pressure. The beds were comfy. Bathrooms spacious. Excellent options to cool down (fans and air conditioners). We also appreciated that there were pods available for us to use to wash our clothes. The rain drizzle through the atrium sun roof was fun too. We were so relaxed that we would sometimes forget to turn on our phones and Marta disrupted what she was doing to come all the way to the house to respond to our questions. Thank you!!! We are from a large flat urban area and never quite managed the drive up or parking in the driveway. We would recommend that you brush up on tips for driving and parking in steep mountainous areas if your story is similar to ours.

5 🌟s!!! The Hacienda was truly a slice of heaven! As beautiful as the pictures make it look, you really have to be there to appreciate the true beauty of this place. There were 6 of us with kids ages ranging from 3-13 and we all had a magical time! We had access to the entire 30 acre farm and we were even able to find some hidden swings while walking around for the kids to enjoy. The house is stocked with absolutely everything you will need including a plethora of games, Nintendo switch, ping pong table, outdoor chess and many other games. The pool was a huge hit, always clean and warm for early morning or late night swims as temps can get a bit chilly up in the mountains. Carol and Camacho are so sweet and great hosts. Communication was clear and prompt and they’re really good about letting you know what to expect. We truly appreciated Camacho greeting us when we arrived to show us the house as it is HUGE! He was always just a text away if we had questions.

Miguel and His wife greeted me with respect, very nice people, everything was great ! Best experience ever! Can’t wait to go back and stay there again I felt at home ! The place was so relaxing and beautiful , everything was so clean and neat, los of privacy it was worth every penny! We had the best time here! It’s even better than the listing shows. The views from the pool and porches are everything I wanted for a few nights in the mountains. Loved heading to the river and waterfalls, and it’s super close to town for anything you need. We were celebrating 2 birthdays here and couldn’t have asked for anything more. Can’t wait to return for longer!!!

Alvin's property was squeaky clean and comfortable. The surrounding views are breathtaking! I was worried about lack of AC on an island, but there was no need for it. The mountain breeze comes in through the windows if opened. So does the sound of the birds which is spectacular and so calming. I loved this place and would recommend it 100%.

Great place—super comfortable and clean. I just wish there was a TV and a grill. Alexa was really helpful. The view is beautiful. Charco El Ataúd is only a 12-minute drive away. I thought the pool and jacuzzi were separate, but they’re actually the same. Either way, it was a great stay with good restaurants close by.

This place was well worth the drive through the mountains, the view was incredible. The place was well kept for our stay and the hosts were great.
