Hôte extrêmement accueillante ayant beaucoup de gentilles attentions à notre égard (fleurs, fruits, ...). Communication facilitée car elle parle très bien le français ainsi de plusieurs autres langues. Très flexible sur les horaires et donnant de bonnes recommandations. Logement avec un cadre paisible en pierres apparentes avec cheminée (bien appréciable en février). Les deux salles de bain sont pratiques pour une famille. Emplacement très bon pour des visites touristiques. Accès compliqué car routes pentues mais récompense à l'arrivée.

What a beautiful place! One of the best Airbnb’s I have ever stayed in hands down! Margarida was very attentive and responsive. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in the historical centre of Guimarães. You will feel right at home here and the amenities are excellent. There are many things to do in the locality, if you are a fan of French patisserie’s then you have one literally across the road! If you are a vegan lover then you have daTerra Guimarães which is within walking distance. A real old world charm city and this apartment really is comfortable and relaxing after a long day of traipsing around the cute cobbled streets exploring the castle, palace, churches and many shrines dotted around this beautiful city. If you are a cyclist like myself there is an amazing bike lane which is in an old railway line that goes from Guimarães to Fafe. Absolutely sublime! Also take a visit to the Penha!

La casa estaba muy limpia y ordenada. Al lado del centro de Guimarães. Muy bonito y cómodo, sin embargo se oye todo, la casa no está bien aislada y se escuchan los vecinos tanto de habitación como de casa

Nous avons passés un super séjour à Guimaraes. Le logement était spacieux et agréable, très propre et nous ne manquions de rien. Magda est très communicative et n’hésite pas à renseigner des bons conseils comme des bonnes adresses ou des astuces pour se garer sans devoir avoir un parking payant. Nous recommandons Sarah et sa famille

J accorde sans hésiter 5 étoiles au logement de Pedro. Le logement est magnifique, il inspire une grande qualité, la décoration est très classe, il ne manque strictement rien dans l équipement. Ce logement est très fonctionnel, on s y sent très bien👍 De plus il est très bien situé, à seulement 10 minutes du centre ville. Je le recommande vivement et je remercie à nouveau Pedro.

Rui was very responsive, friendly, and helpful! The apartment itself was conveniently located, super clean with a nice balcony with a breathtaking view. I highly recommend! ( and yes, we will make this our spot everytime we go to Guimaraes)

We stayed 4 nights in Elisa's lovely apartment, using it as a base for day trips each day in a different direction. It's a nice space to spend time in, and we really enjoyed the amount of light and private, peaceful view in the mornings when we woke up and had breakfast. The location is great in general, very easy to walk to restaurants or take a stroll around central Braga. Elisa was very responsive and helpful at all times. We had a car, and were able to get by using on-street parking. The spots were paid parking, but it's free from 7pm-9am (and Sundays), and we were gone most of the day, so we only ended up having to pay for a few hours each day, at about a Euro an hour, and were able to pay via an app (EasyPark), which made it simple to extend the time as needed.

We had a FANTASTIC stay. Unit is AMAZING, location is MORE that FANTASTIC. Value for money? ABSOLUTELY. It was the cheapest of all our stays, and by far the BEST. We were so lucky to surprisingly arrive on the day the BRAGA ROMANA 5 day festival started, and it just made our holiday! By far the best part of holiday. Braga is fantastic. Bom Jesus was also an highlight. Tx very much Adriana. Soooo glad we found your place!

El departamento es muy amplio, cómodo y luminoso; bien ventilado y cuenta con un montón de prestaciones. Ideal para 4 o 5 personas. La propietaria es muy amable y accesible. Nos brindo ayuda cuando necesitamos de ella. El lugar es muy lindo y tranquilo.

We really enjoyed staying in this apartment. It was very much as described, and a very comfortable place. It's perhaps a little shabbier than the photos show - this often happens at AirBnBs, as all of these short-term stays are hard on places - but not so much as to be a particular concern. I will add that it was also quieter than we anticipated. While it's on the corner of a busy street, there wasn't much noise at all. Overall, this one is definitely "two thumbs up" if you need to stay in the historic center of Braga.

Wow, what an experience! Gabriela’s graciousness in hosting us was a highlight of our journey. The apartment is a history buffs dream, as the building and the building’s location is rich with history. Gabriela’s personalized touches made the experience all the more better. Including a wonderful story of the building history and it’s familial ties. Finally, prior to my arrival we received all kinds of wonderful recommendations including: where to park, restaurants to try, and all the information that might need for the apartment. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking to take in the beautiful city of Guimarães!

Super appartement, moderne, parfaitement équipé avec ses 3 chambres aux lits confortables et ses 2 salles de bains impécables. Plusieurs balcons, cocooning pour un et une vue imprenable sur le sanctuaire pour l'autre. Parking en sous sol ou gratuit en extérieur et très facile pour s'y garer même avec un véhicule 9 places. A recommander sans aucunes hésitations.

My family and I stayed for nearly two weeks in Portugal, at 5 different AirBnBs. This was definitely the best. The property and views are beautiful, and the flat was very clean and well provisioned. But more than that, Daniel and the other co-hosts were very friendly and welcoming. I wholeheartedly recommend their place, especially for families looking to unwind a bit and who are interested in seeing aspects of Portugal outside of the more touristy, typical locations.

The apartment was fantastic, with a welcoming host and a convenient location—especially for those exploring Braga by car. However, we found it a bit uncomfortable that it was a private residence with all the host's belongings still there. Additionally, the requirement to pay 30 Euros for using the air conditioning or washing machine felt a bit high.

Casa do Engenho is amazing. So far, the best place my family and I have rented for a 10-day stay. Near Braga, easy to find, beautiful surroundings, quiet and comfortable. We definitely recommend staying. Monica is a great hostess, friendly and always there for you!
