Landerøveren og utbryterkongen Gjest Baardsen har endatil sittet lenket fast i spisestuen. Dingja er en liten bygd i munningen av Sognefjorden. Her er vakre turområder, historiske minnesmerker, og ypperlige fiskemuligheter både i sjø og vann. Bygda har langgrunn sandstrand, landhandel og marina.
