House holiday rentals in Gulf Islands

We were a group of three couples with two kids between us, and the house was perfect for us (air hockey was a hit, as were the spectacular views). When the door code didn’t work on our way in, the agents helped us right away — very responsive.

We loved staying at such a beautiful peaceful house, gorgeous ocean views! The master bedroom was spacious and had a very comfortable bed. The house had plenty of room for our family group consisting of my husband and I with our two young kids, two grandparents and my brother in law and his wife and two kids.

Arbutus House is set in a pristine and beautiful location on Pender Island, overlooking the water with expansive and well maintained private gardens. The house is full of character and is clean and filled with natural light. Our host, Budd, was extremely responsive and helpful and took care of all of our needs. We would definitely return to this location and recommend it to our friends.

As our first Airbnb experience, it set the bar for future experiences. It was exactly what it was described as in the listing. It was immaculately clean. Our group of 4 were very satisfied. And we would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Parksville.

Our family of 5 plus our dog enjoyed our stay at Oceanside Escapes. Johanna and Julie were readily available to answer any questions that we had before and during our stay. The cabin was well-supplied and had a binder listing many local recommendations. It was a short walk to Rathtrevor Beach which we all enjoyed, particularly our dog. All essential amenities and many attractions were nearby. The central air conditioner was especially helpful in keeping the whole cabin cool during the hotter days. We will be back.

Stayed here for a girls’ getaway and it was PERFECT! The house is bit creaky and maybe not the best for small children, but for us it was fantastic. Hopped the ferry to Port Townsend one day and walked all around Fort Casey the next. Kitchen is stocked and living space is comfortable!

Great little get away. Pool was awesome, hot tub was great. Great fenced front yard for the dogs. Back yard was quite big to be able to play with the kids. Very clean and tones of room. Ryan was great to deal with. Will definitely rent again on our next trip down. Thank you

We had a small group from work gather at April’s place and it was fantastic. So much space for us to spend time together. Everything was set up for us to have an amazing time: the pool was warm and so clean. There are tons of thoughtful touches in the home and the kitchen is incredibly stocked. It’s just a dream, we are so thankful! Our group wants to come back next year! Thank you!!!!

Our family of four had a wonderful time staying at Jessica’s place for the week. It was an excellent location, within a 5 minute walk to local restaurants including the Saturday market in Ganges and central to many hiking trails and attractions on the island. The place was well appointed with all the kitchen tools you need to cook a few meals and was also spacious. We would’ve happily return on a future visit to the island.

This was truly one of the best Airbnb stays we’ve ever experienced. The house was immaculately clean and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The kitchen was spotless and stocked with top-notch amenities, and the bedroom and linens were incredibly comfortable and fresh. The heating system worked perfectly, and the towels were clean and soft — everything in the house felt well-maintained and thoughtfully prepared. What really stood out was the electric vehicle charger, which made our trip even more convenient. The breathtaking view of the ocean and the chance to see the tide come in and out so closely added a magical touch to our stay. It was a perfect, relaxing, and romantic getaway — we highly recommend it, especially for couples celebrating a honeymoon or anniversary. An unforgettable getaway in a truly one-of-a-kind place. This Airbnb is set in a stunningly beautiful location, surrounded by spectacular natural scenery that offers complete peace and serenity. It’s the perfect escape if you’re looking to unplug and recharge. You feel like you’re truly away from it all, immersed in nature. The architecture is both unique and impressive, blending seamlessly into the landscape while offering thoughtful design details throughout. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and every amenity was top quality. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook full meals. You can tell a lot of care went into ensuring guests have everything they need. One of the highlights was the wildlife. We saw plenty of birds and even a bald eagle right outside the window! If you’re looking for a place to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with nature (without sacrificing comfort), this is it.

We really enjoyed David’s house, which was clean, uncluttered, comfortable and beautiful, with beautiful views. David was very responsive with messages, and helpful with information about what might be happening in the area, and gave great suggestions for restaurants. Our vacation was even better than we’d planned because of David’s knowledgeable tips.

We had such a wonderful stay at Mason's. It was a perfect spot for out ladies weekend. It's a beautiful property and we enjoyed many delicious meals and laughs on the deck. The space was spotless! We are talking about booking it again next year.

This property was stunning, with panoramic views of the water, surrounding gulf islands, and sunsets. It was charming, cozy, and picturesque. Everything we were looking for!

Picture perfect. What a treat to stay in this beautifully restored home. Every detail was thought out and carefully selected. The beds and furniture are all very comfortable and lovely to look at. Thought went into every piece and fixture, light fixture and appliance to create a well thought out aesthetic. Nice linens, and extras in the bathrooms. The kitchen is lovely to look at and streamlined, and you’ll find everything you need to prepare a fine meal. Good knives, all the bowls, pots and pans you need, with every appliance you’d want, but put away in a logical place so nothing is cluttered or hard to find! Fun extras like firewood for the outdoor fire pit, yard game, indoor games and a basket of blankets to sit outside and enjoy the backyard. Good communication from host Brant. If in the area again… I’d be back in a heartbeat!

We were fortunate to stay at Jess's place on short notice, when our camping plans changed. The cabin is modern and comfortable, nestled in a beautiful forest setting, complete with birdsong and visiting deer. The listing is quite clear that there is no wifi! We did have cell service and were able to get (slow) internet access on our phones. There is a steep trail nearby to the beach, which we had to ourselves. We would love to visit again. Pictures couldn't possibly capture how well appointed and perfectly situated this place is- 5 stars!!! You can sit with a coffee on the beautiful deck listening to the birds and watching the boats pass up and down Howe Sound while snow capped coastal mountains frame the posrcard backdrop, amazing! The suite has everything you need and is well laid out with impressive attention to the details: Comfy bed, proper linens, fluffy towels, premium soaps etc. We walked down to the village and it's a 30 minute peacefull walk down the road. Highly reccomened!

You want to go to the lakes this place has got it. You want to go to Pender Hill and walk from your place this place has got it. You want to have a fire and chat with good company this place has got it. You want a tastefully Renod place that your significant other is sure to love this place has got it. Awesome spot. This is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. We truly didn’t want to leave and started planning our next trip before we had even left. The apartment itself is gorgeous and was so clean. The bed was SO comfortable and we truly had no words for the balcony and the view. I couldn’t stop looking at it!!

We absolutely loved our 5-night stay here! Even more beautiful than the photos. Such a comfortable and beautiful home surrounded by the forest and incredible views of the bay. Private, quiet and peaceful but a short drive to restaurants, shops and hikes. Hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly. Loved seeing deer and chipmunks in the yard daily. One of our favorite airbnbs to date — we’ll be back!

I only had one problem. I nee ded an extra star for rating as it was a solid 6 star all around. we came by boat for a company retreat and everyone wants to come back. There is government dock for a boat and the place was only a few steps away which was amazing. if you were to come by car it couldn't get any easier. Ever room in the house was outstanding. the fire pit was so nice to have. an amazing wrap around deck.
