We stayed there as the last option available due t flood occured in Kuala Krai. There was water shortage due to some maintenance work. Overall was fine. Thank you to host.

Nice.. Will repeat again. Calm surroundings. Near by nice waterfall. Very responsive. You will enjoying your sunrise scenery. Very affordable and enjoyable. If you need anything. Jaz call the supervisor. They will assist to fulfill your need.

As described, simple but clean and functional with aircon and a kettle. Lake is just 2 mins walk, and is good for swimming. Host was friendly, and shared some snacks with us, which was a lovely bonus. Car needed as this is quite rural. Waterfalls a short drive away, and plenty of roadside eating places and minimarts. Fine for 2 night stop as a place to break journey driving north, and see the park.

The main chalet area is just a few minutes' walk from Lata Kertas Waterfall. They also have a special unit right beside the waterfall, which I was lucky to get thanks to the host's offer. Anne, the host’s daughter, speaks English but is based in another part of Malaysia. Her mother manages the chalet but doesn’t speak English, so communication is best via messages (she translates and replies in English). I messaged multiple times for recommendations on attractions and restaurants, and she was incredibly helpful—even calling places to check before replying. Truly appreciated the effort and hospitality! The room was simple, clean, and surprisingly comfortable. The mattress, pillows, and blanket were really good quality for the price. Toilet is basic (no sink inside, but there’s an outdoor kitchen sink you can use). There’s a fishing pond right outside the chalet. Lata Kertas Waterfall is just a couple of stairs down, perfect for a quick dip.
