Holiday rentals with a kayak in Gwinnett County

The house is peaceful and comfortable, and it’s close to numerous stores so you can get whatever you may need. We didn’t use the kayaks on the dock, but it was nice to have the option to use them if we had wanted to. If you take the walk down the stretch of stairs to the dock, you’ll find that it’s the only dock in the little alcove, which makes it feel pretty secluded. Finally, the internet speed is really great if you need to do some work, play games, etc. Maureen was also very helpful, communicative, and accommodating to our individual situation.

What an amazing home on the lakefront! Gorgeous views of the lake with multiple places to gather outside and take it all in. Besides spending time on the dock, we spent most of our time in the screened in "4 seasons" room enjoying coffee in the morning, meals throughout the day, cocktails at sunset, and playing games. Everything about our stay was a 5 star experience from the time we checked in until we left. Katie left clear instructions on how to check in along with some recommendations for the area. She was quick in resonding to inquiries and made us feel at home. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals. The beds were extremely comfortable and the linens were of high quality. The ping pong table was a hit along with the kayaks on the dock. All were used frequently. It was an idyllic location and the perfect family getaway for our long weekend at the lake!

10/10 would go back. We had a great time. So sweet to leave a present when we got there. Plenty of things to do around the place. Beautiful area, wild life, and so close to the lake. We had such a blast and we're even able to do laundry before we left. They had EVERYTHING we needed. Loved the fire pit and the dock on the lake. We will for sure be back. This was the perfect place for our family vacation! We enjoyed the neighborhood amenities (beach club and marina for a fee but totally worth it!) and plenty of hiking trails. The house was better than the pictures! Beautifully renovated and very comfortable. We also appreciated the location of the house within the neighborhood- not too far from the main entrance and no scary drive up a mountain! Would definitely come back!

This trip was a surprise for my boyfriend's birthday, and exceeded my expectations. We had a great time! One of the best experiences we've had so far. We loved the lake in the backyard. He fished morning, afternoon and night and caught many nice size fish. The pool table was a great addition, after the sun went down. We actually were able to relax and enjoy a quiet weekend, fishing, playing pool, and watching movies as planned and expected. Our hostess was the sweetest. We really enjoyed ourselves and definitely want to come back. Everything was great.

Great spot. House was clean, and the hosts were very easy to contact. House is pn the North end of the lake which is much more calm than the southern portion. Also very close to a Marina.

We had a great time on our impromptu trip to the lake. The house was clean and the sunsets were beautiful from the dock.

We had a lovely stay. The cottage is tucked into its wooded lot and feels like a private retreat. Between relaxing on the dock, or napping in the screened pavilion, or exploring on kayaks there was something for our entire family to enjoy across the three generations on our trip.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Zoe's house. The house was close to Lake Lanier Olympic Park and Laurel Park, and not far from the downtown. Zoe's artwork, furnishings, sheets, towels and candles really set the home apart from other places at which I have stayed. We look forward to our next stay.

Beautiful home! Susan is awesome and communication was incredible. She really made our stressful wedding weekend easier and I truly appreciate her going the extra mile to assist with our special accommodation needs.

This was our second stay at the Architect’s Cottage. It was as peaceful and calm this time as before. The deck and lake are our favorite things but inside the house is great too: clean and cozy and beautifully appointed with unique furnishings, art and lighting. This was our first time to Lake Lanier! Wow! What the perfect home to stay in for our first visit. From the deer we saw on our walk to our boat at the dock to enjoying the sauna, we enjoyed it all. The water at the dock was plenty deep for our wake boat, the driveway had plenty of parking, the location is centrally located, and very private. We highly recommend this home for anyone in the area.

The cabin was even better in person, Donna went above and beyond and made us feel so welcomed. The walk around the neighborhood was beautiful and the neighbors were all very friendly. There is a nice view of the river and the atmosphere was so cozy and peaceful. We will be bookmarking for future visits for sure!

My family and I had a most relaxing, peaceful long weekend in Marty and Mike’s home in Lake Canoe. Everything was as described when we placed our reservation. We loved the house and will certainly rent again at some point in the future if the occasion arises.

Susan’s place is a cozy getaway surrounded by nature. This snazzy A-frame home felt warm and comforting as soon as we got in. The hot tub and doggy-friendliness were huge parts of our selection. Key aspects of the home were drinking coffee on both upper and lower deck porches, overlooking the woods, the hot tub of course, and snuggling up on the couch, watching tv at night with a bottle of wine, purchased from the nearby vineyards. Highly recommend!

We had a great time at this lovely and wonderfully secluded home on Lake Lanier. There is so much to do and would be a great place to bring kids, I'm already planning another trip with my niece and nephew. There's a mini putt putt course, arcade games, ping pong, board games, SUPs and kayaks! My favorite part was how quiet and private it is - the perfect spot for a little getaway. It's about a minute walk downhill from the house to the lake (might take a little longer for much older family members but I think still doable). There's obviously a little more noise and activity on the lake where you can actually see some neighbors but it was still mostly very peaceful and relaxing. The place itself was very clean and Amy was super helpful/responsive. My husband loved all the coffee options. Looking forward to another visit sometime!
