Holiday rentals with beach access in Gwynedd

I had a fabulous stay at Ann's place. It's very light and airy and the space has been well thought-out. I had everything I needed. It's both private and well-located for access to the beach and other amenities. Also a great location for access to the Snowdonia National Park (I highly recommend Beddgelert), Portmeirion and the Llŷn peninsula. Ann was very friendly and welcoming. Will certainly be coming back again next year.

The apartment was really nicely presented and had everything you could need for a family stay. Lisa was great at communicating and the apartment guide was super helpful both for the property and the area. Being literally across the road from the beach was fantastic, sometimes we didn't even put our sandy shoes back on to get home! We chose this place because it suited our family of 3 (no stairs for our 1 year old) and after we'd moved all the ornaments out of reach it was perfect, although you could have happily had a much larger family there. Would stay here again!

Stayed for a couple of nights as a family of four and dog. The space worked perfectly for us to spend some quality time together. So close to the beach so ideal with little ones. View from living/ dining room is absolutely stunning. Just looked out at view for hours. Flat up two flight of stairs, so not ideal for those with reduced mobility, but no problem for others. Host response immediately when we had a question.

An excellent stay in a beautiful private property, the hosts were lovely the property came with everything as described and a lovely secure area for our dogs to roam around the house. The beach was amazing and a pleasant walk at a reasonably close distance. For anybody wishing to stay here me and my wife would highly recommend this place to stay and enjoy the peaceful and beautiful area.

We had a great few days at Carol’s place. The location is awesome and the apartment well equipped, comfortable and peaceful. We loved relaxing at the bay window overlooking the sea watching the ever changing landscape. Carol was so welcoming and there if you needed her yet otherwise unobtrusive. She gave us the heads up when dolphins were basking in the bay which was appreciated and a real treat to observe. A great location for various activities including local golf courses which we enjoyed. Overall a wonderful stay and highly recommended.

Great base for exploring Caernarfon and the wider area, very close to Snowdonia National Park. Clean, comfy and exactly as advertised, I would definitely stay here again. Very responsive and attentive hosts, a pleasure to deal with.

Wow what a place. The view from the apartment is beautiful and always something to watch. Lovely to have private access to the beach. Would thoroughly recommend this place. Hope to visit again one day. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had a fantastic week at Sunny Bank. House was spotless and had everything we needed. Very close to lots of lovely restaurants and cafés, my boys especially loved the ice-cream parlor just down the road. Fantastic walk above the the house with amazing views over Barmouth.

Excellent accomodation. Beautifully decorated and furnished to high standard. Wanted for nothing. Host has thought of everything you need and more. In a quiet area 2 min walk from the beach and 10 mins walk from the town. Would highly recommend.

Marie is a great host. she was very helpful and informative about the area. the house was all we could have wished for. it was spacious over 3 levels. we loved our view of the sea and noats from our bedroom window. it was well equipped with, had brochures and menus to browse and games for adults and children. our favourite spot was the open kitchen with lounge and diner nook. Will definitely try go back. the staff at Swellies and the pub were very helpful and friendly and the food was tasty. Mandy

We absolutely loved Deborah's place felt right at home when we walked in. There is everything you need from day one. The local area is lovely for walks and the beach is across the road. Even when it was wet and windy it was a pleasure to sit upstairs and watch the sea. You are easy reach into Snowdonia by car?, Zip world( definitely have a go) and even easier for a trip to Caernarfon. Deborah's recommendations for eating out are spot on especially the BRAF cafe next door, lovely home made breakfast with plenty of choice and amount. Looking forward to coming back. Ty Nain is a great place to stay when visiting the North West corner of Wales and Anglesey. It's very straightforward to get to by road and is in easy reach of the mountains, beaches and sights. We found the house to be very comfortable, the decor was very pleasant, the kitchen well stocked and the whole house spotlessly clean. The bathroom looked absolutely pristine. The mattresses were comfy, we all got a good night's sleep. It was great to have a space to chill out in the conservatory as well as the living room. Our hosts were very helpful and accommodating about us dropping off bags early and kept us well informed about every aspect of our stay. I'm sure we will be back to visit and we have no hesitation in recommending this welcoming airbnb with it's kind hosts, for a relaxing stay.

We had a fantastic relaxing stay at Wendy’s place. Amazing views, beautiful and comfortable house extremely well equipped and designed. Lots to do exploring the area and beyond and always lovely to come back and enjoy the views particularly from the upstairs lounge. We’d love to come back again.

A great lication with views of tge beach and parking fir 2 cars. So close to shopping and eateries.

Absolutely perfect stay during a race weekend at Anglesey circuit. Stayed as a family of four with two young kids. It had everything we needed and really felt like a home from home. Dave’s communication was spot on, thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at Joanne's property. It is beautifully furnished , with everything you could need and the view from the lounge and bedrooms is stunning. Location-wise- it is perfect : just off the coastal path and 15 minutes walk from the centre of town. Joanne was great at advising us where to go for food in town and we had 2 x fabulous evenings at The Whitehall pub and Nomi. All in all a 5 star experience and we will definitely be back!

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy flat! The space was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated, making me feel right at home. The host was super welcoming, always ready to help with tips for the area, and quick to respond.The location was perfect, with everything I needed close by, yet quiet enough for a restful night. The flat overlooks the harbour which was lovely, parking can sometimes be tricky at peak times but otherwise fine. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Susan & Peter could not have been more welcoming. Always checking that we had everything we might require and that we were enjoying our stay. Generous amounts of breakfast food provided plus gratis treats and snacks were provided. The apartment had everything...absolutely everything one might need. From sky tv to kitchen utensils of all kinds. From hair dryer to dishwasher. Linen to library. "Perfik."

we had a lovely 3 day stay at Heidi's place, the apartment was beautiful with the most gorgeous view, it had everything that we needed and was spotless ! barmouth town centre is less than a 5 minute walk away from the apartment which was fabulous and Heidi gave us plenty of recommendations of places to go and places to eat. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Clare’s apartment. It had all we needed and was really clean and welcoming. The location is great and we were to and from the beach lots! Lots of lovely touches in the flat and we so appreciated the prosecco and other bits that were left for us. Communication with Clare was clear and friendly. We will definitely hope to come again.

We really enjoyed staying in this beautiful period property and cannot fault it. The directions and instructions for access were clear and comprehensive. The apartment was clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped with the most amazing views from both the lounge and bedroom windows. We loved sitting in the beautiful cottage garden and the sun streaming into the kitchen as we ate our evening meal. The location was perfect for walking into town, to the harbour and Borth y Gest. We have stayed in many airbnbs in the UK and France and this is our favourite. We cannot wait to return.
