Our family with 3 children had a wonderful stay at Jasper’s place. The house had plenty of space, nice decor and a lovely garden that we used a lot! The neighbours were friendly and the area was a perfect mix of quiet residential street and essential shops and transport within walking distance. Being close to the train station was a huge plus for visiting the bigger towns and cities, and having bicycles available made it easy to get around locally. Our kids loved day trips to the beach, forest, petting zoo, playgrounds, and a lovely pancake restaurant. Jasper was a responsive and friendly host, that really made our stay stress-free. I can especially mention the welcome gift on arrival, good instructions for the house, and great tips for the local area. Highly recommend!

Magnifique maison située dans un quartier calme, tout en étant à proximité du centre-ville. Cette demeure unique séduit par ses espaces généreux, sa décoration soignée et son architecture remarquable. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’espace cuisine et salle à manger, qui nous a immédiatement charmés. Les lits et les couettes sont très confortables. Possibilité de se garer juste devant la maison. Parfaitement équipée, la maison répond à tous les besoins. Le contact avec Veer a été exemplaire : elle est d’une grande amabilité, répond rapidement et offre des conseils avisés. Les consignes de la maison sont claires et bien expliquées, et le petit classeur mis à disposition s’est avéré très utile. Nous restons encore émerveillés par cette maison extraordinaire. ☺️

Wir waren sehr gerne in diesem wunderschönen Haus in Haarlem. Es war eine Freude, in den liebevollen und geschmackvollen Räumlichkeiten von Tavi und seiner Familie für eineWoche unterzukommen. Die Möglichkeiten, die diese Umgebung bietet, sind einfach grandios. 10 Minuten zum Meer und dem Nationalpark, eine halbe Stunde nach Amsterdam. Haarlem selbst ist eine einzigartige Perle. Wir sind dankbar und schauen gerne auf die Zeit zurück.

Saskia’s house is beautiful in peaceful Overveen. The house if anything is bigger and nicer than the photos. Saskia was very friendly and very responsive and generally the stay was great. Overveen has some nice places to eat, Haarlem is just 10 minutes away and Amsterdam is close also. Loved it.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub im Haus von Danielle und Tobias. Der Kontakt war freundlich und sehr nett. Im Haus hatten wir alles, was wir brauchten. Auch der kleine Hinterhof war schön zum Sitzen . Die Katzen haben uns Gesellschaft geleistet. Der Strand, die Innenstadt, Geschäfte und Amsterdam waren gut mit den zur Verfügung gestellten Fahrrädern zu erreichen. Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Danke an unseren tollen Gastgeber!

Inge’s place is thoughtfully decorated and cozy! Our kids loved playing in her beautiful garden and my older daughter loved playing the piano in the living room. We also loved that there were two playgrounds nearby so our 4 and 9 year old had fun playing. Her place was convenient to the bus stop, a local restaurant, local grocery, all under a 10 min walk. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. It gave us a taste of living in the suburbs of Amsterdam. Her son, Sammie, was responsive to my questions as was Inge. Our family had a great time! Thanks again, Inge and family! One thing to note and totally not host’s fault is that the staircase is winding and a bit narrow. When having young kids that are not used to such stairs, it was a little tricky at times.

This is such a unique and homey place, perfect full situated between the beaches and Amsterdam. Easy to get into the city, within a small city itself, but feeling a little bit like the country with the large yard and chickens. Excellent communication and hospitality from the hosts. Small.They answered everything and were very accommodating.

Freke ist eine sehr engagierte Gastgeberin. Der Kontakt mit ihr war entspannt, einfach, schnell und sehr freundlich. Ihr Haus liegt in einer entzückenden, ruhigen Wohngegend ohne Autoverkehr. Amsterdam ist sehr einfach zu erreichen (die Züge fahren circa alle fünf bis zehn Minuten), aber auch schon Haarlem ist eine interessante und hübsche Stadt. Der Weg zum sehr schönen weiten Strand kann leicht per Fahrrad zurückgelegt werden und führt durch wunderschöne Naturschutzgebiete mit fantastischen Radwegen. Das Haus entspricht der Beschreibung. Toll waren die sehr guten Betten, das angenehme Baumwollbettzeug, der schöne Blick vom Schlafzimmer im zweiten Stock und der schicke Quooker in der Küche. Absolutes Top-Feature der Unterkunft ist die Möglichkeit, ein Damen-Holland-Fahrrad und ein top-modernes Elektro-Lastenrad zu nutzen!!! Im Ganzen: Fünf Sterne, uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Manons Unterkunft. Das Haus ist wie beschrieben, Ausstattung top, super ist auch die Badewanne, die bei dem Wetter definitiv genutzt wurde. Die Couch ist super bequem und das Wohnzimmer unfassbar gemütlich, besonders wenn man zum Abschalten herkommt. Die Gartennutzung stelle ich mir bei gutem Wetter toll vor, besonders mit dem vorhandenen Grill. Sehr süß war auch die nette Willkommensgeste mit Postkarte. Alles in allem hatten wir eine super Zeit und würden jederzeit wieder nach Haarlem kommen und Manons Unterkunft mieten. Vielen lieben Dank Manon !

Kira's lovely home was perfect for our family of 4 (2 young adult children), and Kira was warm and clear in her communications. We had expected to travel with my husband's elderly parents, and the steep, narrow stairs in this home would not have worked for them, but we had no problem at all. We love Haarlem and would be happy to return and stay in Kira's home again!

We had a truly wonderful stay in Mathilde’s gorgeous home. The house itself is amazing - beautiful interiors, more spacious than the photos appear, very comfortable and everything you could need for both children (including lots of toys) and adults (including an awesome coffee machine). The location is equally amazing - very close to fantastic coffee shops, independent and high street shops and bars/restaurants (and great ice cream), but also very close to the forests, dunes and great play options for little ones. We hired bikes and loved exploring Haarlem and using the train to get to Amsterdam - we didn’t need or miss the car. Mathilde was a great host too - very friendly, responsive and sent a great list of recommendations. We were very sad to leave and can’t wait to come back - thank you.

Le séjour s'est très bien passé, Jan Frans et Rachida sont des hôtes accueillants et facilement joignables. Ils nous ont même donné des conseils pour accéder à Amsterdam. Je recommande!

The house was located in a beautiful residential area and perfect for our little family. Be careful, you might be considering moving to Haarlem yourself. :) Our children loved the books and toys in the house. Raoul was extremely responsive and helpful when needed.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful home. We found the location great and enjoyed exploring Haarlem, the beach and Amsterdam. Bart provided thorough instructions/ information about the house and the local area. The hosts tip about cycling through the National park to the beach was spot on and made for a great outing with our kids (10 & 7). We would most definitely recommend this AirBnB to others!

Der Urlaub bei Rosalie war toll, das Haus und insbesondere die Küche sind super ausgestattet. Wir haben viel Zeit im großen, modern eingerichteten Wohn- und Essbereich verbracht, für unsere kleine Tochter gab es jede Menge Spielzeug, so dass wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt haben. Gut fanden wir auch, dass es ein Kinderstühlchen für den Tisch gab. Rosalie ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, sie war jederzeit erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Bei unserer Ankunft war der Tisch mit einem frischen Blumenstrauß dekoriert, dazu standen kleine Aufmerksamkeiten wie Saft, Marmelade und Brötchen bereit, so dass wir am Morgen gleich ohne einzukaufen frühstücken konnten. In einem kleinen Buch findet man nützliche Infos zum Haus und zur Umgebung. Der Schlafbereich ist klein aber gemütlich und bietet ausreichend Platz für zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder. Mit dem Kind auf dem Arm muss man etwas achtgeben, da die Treppe hinauf recht steil ist. Insgesamt hat es uns sehr gut gefallen, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Nice unit in row housing, very quiet neighborhood. Plenty of space, and a well-appointed kitchen for cooking. Right off the canal, with a large playground, grocery store, and tram into central Amsterdam a short walk away. Was too cold for swimming but seems possible. Ivan was great at helping us get settled in. The description was a little vague on bedding, but there is a master bedroom with a large bed, and 2 smaller bedrooms upstairs, all sharing a bathroom. The one bedroom had a loft bed, and the other had an air mattress, which was fine for our 2 kids. This definitely lived in by Boris's family including younger kids, and rented part-time, so definitely "lived in", but also means there's lots of games and such. Some "interesting" possibly kid-inappropriate pictures, if they're paying attention! Overall a perfect place for a few days in Amsterdam!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Giulietta. La maison est dans un quartier résidentiel calme mais le centre ville d’Haarlem reste accessible à pieds. Nous avons profité de cette base pour découvrir la région et aller à Amsterdam en train depuis Haarlem. Le logement était agréable pour un séjour en famille avec un petit jardin clôturé et une aire de jeux pour enfants à côté. Giulietta a été très attentionnée et disponible. Elle nous a beaucoup aidés quand nous avons eu besoin de consulter un médecin. Merci encore !

Ńous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Jan Pieter, la maison et le quartier sont très agréables et paisibles. Attention toutefois aux escaliers qui sont tres raides mais parfaitement securises. Beaucoup de commerces à proximité à pieds et pour finir Haarlem est une très jolie ville ou il fait bon flâner. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

We had a family reunion in Haarlem, at Ilaria's lovely house. We enjoyed everything and were really at ease in the house. The flexible check-in and check-out helped a lot with our plans. Ilaria kindly took care of making us very comfortable. I definitely recommend this lovely house.

This was the perfect house for me and our three kids (17, 15, 13). The moment we walked in, we felt at home. It's a gorgeous house with so much character and history to it, beautifully decorated and with lots of space for all of us to hang out and sleep. The location is also fantastic: safe, pretty and you can walk/bike everywhere easily from there plus take a train from the nearby central station to get to yet other places. Nanja is a wonderful host, our communication was seamless. Thank you for letting us stay at your house!

Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit in Amsterdam. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr gut erreichbar vom Bahnhof und es ist alles da, was man braucht. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

This was indeed a cozy and BIG house my 2 kids literally loved running around. The best part was the hot tub and the kids loved to get in every evening and have some fun. The kitchen had all we really needed from a coffee and essentials perspective, and it felt like we just checked into a House somebody was living right in. Effi was also clear in giving instructions, was mostly responsive, had good suggestions for us and also helped with getting our check-in scheduled early when I had requested. A place I'd recommend to anyone. :)

This was a perfectly located home, with an ambience that was both relaxing and very zen. We felt right at home and everything felt comfortable. The house is 15 min drive from Zandvoort Beach, and a quick 20 minute train ride to Amsterdam. Bus/train/supermarkets and town center are walkable and within 5-15 min by foot.
