Small old-fashioned cottage, on the heath in Verdal. Steep slope up, you should have a 4x4 car, there is a road up in autumn, spring and summer. Not winter. The cabin has a large terrace, and otherwise a natural plot, with access to the beach and swimming raft. The cabin is fully equipped and has the character of a family cabin. There is decent room for 6 adults and 2 small ones around the table. Drinkable cold water. Hot water comes from water boiler tank. Compost bin. Outdoor shower. Washing machine for outdoor use. Poor Teliad coverage, good Telenor coverage. Canoe with vests (not kayak).

Cozy fully equipped family cabin with 3 bedrooms, shared living room/kitchen and bathroom. Well suited for a large family but can also fit two small ones. WiFi, electricity, water and firewood. Experience mountain nature with trails that along the waterfall will lead you to the top overlooking Ørevatn with its long shallow coast at Skjerka. Swimming and fishing opportunities. You'll have a great time at this place. Right next to the salmon river Lygna. Next to the main road. Train station Snartemo nearby. Small private beach by the river. To the National Villakssenter-Kvåsfossen: 5 km, 5 min to drive by car. Kristiansand Zoo is less than 1 hour and 24 minutes away-perfect for family excursions. With only a 20-minute drive to Lyngdal and Sørlandsbadet, you have everything within easy reach. There are good fishing opportunities in the river in the area, with a valid fishing license.

Sit back and relax in this quiet, cozy place in the woods, but still centrally located 45 minutes to Evje and Lyngdal. 15 minutes to the train station, 10 minutes to the village store. Inside the cabin there is a double bed and a sofa bed that can be converted into a double bed. In the annex there are two single beds. The annex does not have heating. Simple standard in the bathroom, but a small sink with a simple water tank on the shelf, for hand washing, a shower stall, and a "Vera" cabin shower head.

Hønsehus Nedre Snartemo Farm

You will spend the night in the immediate vicinity of Snartemobekken which is a tributary of the river Lygna where the salmon play. Nedre Snartemo is an old farm with a barn that is under restoration. On the farm there are traces of settlement from the pre-Roman Iron Age and all the way to our time. The famous Snartemo sword was found just 200 meters away - in other words, you live in the middle of history.
