Mama-San and Papa-San are some of the best people I’ve met. They are very kind and very personable. I felt like I was at home or at my grandparents house. They gave me great recommendations on things to do in the area. They treated us like family. I would go back in a heartbeat. They also have great food

I definetely recommend this place for everyone who plans to visit Fuji! It takes 17 minutes from kawaguchiko station by walk. K's house super clean, the receptionist are very friendly and helpful. The lounge is also cozy and very clean! You can enjoy the view of Mt. Fuji while sitting in the lounge too🫶🏻

It was a bit confusing finding the place since the entrance was covered but when we finally found it, we realized it was just in front of the famous Honcho Street!!! It was the perfect location as it was close to the Shimoyoshida station and the Pagoda view of Mt.Fuji. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! The vibe is so unique! 100/100! Clean space especially the shower and bath rooms.

Tohru is a great host. If you wanna get a real Japanese Airbnb experience this place is for you.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hosts are really nice and friendly :-) We faced a situation where we misplaced our keys but the host was really nice about it and offered a different room (for safety reasons) almost immediately after we told her 😊 The kitchen has all the appliances such as kettles, plates, cutlery and a fridge! There are two shower and two toilet cubicles on each level - shampoo and body soap are provided. The lounge area was also very comfortable to hang around. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely stay here again if we ever come back to mt fuji!

absolutely nothing to complain. location is perfect. 3 mins walking access to beach. combini and supermarket is very close as well.

Tohru and his wife made me feel at home miles away from it. Tohru always took the steps above and beyond to make sure I felt safe, comfortable and seen. From picking me up from the station, helping me book my next trip, and just talking with me. Tohru made sure I was having the best experience. Be sure to use the bikes he gives you because they changed my experience into something sublime. I would come home to him and his wife and be reminded at how lucky I was to stay at his home. Can’t wait to be back. Peace and love!

Meiqin’s B&B is very charming with a lovely communal area and onsen. It has a great view of the lake and is a short walk to town/the cable car/ pirate ship. Meiqin offered complementary shuttles to/from the bus stop as well as the restaurant for dinner, which was so helpful! Unfortunately we had to leave a day early due to a medical issue, which Meiqin very generously offered to refund (which we did not expect at all given the late notice). We had a great stay, thanks Meiqin!

If you are concerned about the lack of reviews like I was before then theres no need to worry! This hotel room was the best airbnb I’ve been at before. However, would only recommend if you have a car. The room was brand new. Complimentary wine bottle, beers and snacks. Spacious, luxurious and modern. Warm foot bath on the balcony with a view (not breathtaking but a view nonetheless). Massive bath and toilet, with hotspring bath with adjustable water heat. And a sauna (although we didnt get to use)! Free parking with plenty of spaces. Self-check in easily. Only regret was not spending more time there. Although it is on the more expensive side being a hotel, definitely worth it to wind down from the hustle and bustle of the city.

We had a great stay with Japanese ryokan experience. The onsens are great and it is placed in a comparatively remote area making it a peaceful place. You should note that luggage delivery service is apparently is not available for this place, so think of it ahead. They also bring you to some restaurants for dinner but make sure you make a reservation there yourself.

总的来说，还可以，我们带着两个孩子入住，当天下午4点从东京机场开车过来，到的时候已经10点多了，入住非常简单，清晨拉开窗帘第一次看到属于伊豆的晨光，衬托着厚厚的云层，显得格外神秘。景点离得很近，但是您必须要有车。

Eine tolle, sehr nette Gastgeberfamilie. Makis Frühstück war sehr lecker und das Onsen eine tolle Entspannung am Abend. Makis Mann hat uns sogar am letzten Tag zum Bahnhof gefahren, sehr nett! Ein schönes Ryokan!

臺灣人的熱情，加上日本人的細膩呵護，無微不至的服務，還可以幫忙洗衣服，幫忙叫車，根據個性化做行程推薦，場地分享，還有電動輔助腳踏車，這邊自由行太重要了，強烈推薦

I had an amazing time during my brief stay at Episode Izu! The lodge is a fascinating blend of North American architecture and Japanese hospitality that made me feel right at home. During my stay, I enjoyed both exploring the local sights—such as the stunning coastline and breathtaking Mount Omuro—and relaxing indoors, especially soaking in the hotel’s private onsen. Its location makes it a highly recommended base if you're visiting the Izu Peninsula!
