Family-friendly holiday rentals in Hale

Home farm is so magical and special! So many years of history as well as beautifully designed new parts which blended perfectly together. Absolutely everything we needed for special family time together in the most gorgeous surroundings and so peaceful too. We used Around the Table caterers for a special breakfast which was also wonderful. We hope to return! Thanks Sophie and Lisa for a great stay and responding to all our queries x

Lovely property! Spacious and exactly as seen in the listing. Well stocked kitchen, all of the house was spotlessly clean. Quiet and only a few minutes walk into the village. Easy access to lots of walks in the area. Highly recommend.

We stayed here for a 40th birthday party with a number of other families including young children, and had a whale of a time. The photos for the listing don’t do it justice - it’s beautiful inside and out and very private. The hot tub was the highlight of the stay - it’s absolutely huge. Adults and kids spent the whole weekend in it. There are lovely walks from just outside the property - lud’s church was beautiful. We organised a supermarket delivery to the property for just after check in which went without a hitch. We’ll definitely be back for more family gatherings and events - we can’t recommend it enough!

Lovely place, very clean and classy, the kitchen had a wide range of tools and the bathroom was extremely clean and spacious. The hot tub and sauna were of course a nice aspect and they were both well maintained. The whole place was a pleasure to stay in. Scott was excellent at communicating, very proactive, helpful and just simply friendly. Instructions left around the house were easy to follow we had zero problems. Would definitely reccomended to anyone!

The hosts were incredibly kind, polite, and helpful, providing plenty of information and always being responsive and willing to help with everything. The house is amazing, just as it looks in the pictures. The surroundings are beautiful, with amazing views, and the place is spotless and well-maintained. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay, the location is beautiful and the alpacas are so entertaining and very cute. We loved having the opportunity to meet the alpacas too! The beds were comfy and clean, we loved having everything we needed for a home cooked meal and all fit round the table. A great way to spend a 30th birthday, thanks Gemma x

Our week in the cottage was amazing and felt like home. Cosy cottage with great views! Lots to do and explore around the area. The fire burning hot tub made our week away so special and a different experience. The kids loved using the hot tub after a busy day out in town! Would love to visit again next year. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed. Jason and Michelle were great hosts! Always prompt with getting back to us and very helpful! Thank you for an amazing week away. 5 star plus!

Great place to stay as you can easily walk into the town and easy to get to lots of hikes and other towns. Alex was really helpful and answered all our questions. We had a little power cut on Sunday morning & Alex was on hand straight away. Thank you.

We absolutely loved our stay at Barley Rise and hope to return. The lodge is very well located for exploring the local area. The information pack and laminated instructions by Kay were very useful. Everything in the property was fantastically clean and well laid out. It's incredibly quiet, peaceful and private. We were greeted by a very friendly dog, who didn't bark at all nor jump up. The rest of the time, he was kept away although we would have loved to see more of him! Tommy the horse was another very welcome friend, and we loved seeing him happily rolling around. Special mention for the walk in shower, which had excellent water pressure! My partner is extremely fussy about showers but wished he could take it home with him. Please don't hesitate to book, I truly doubt you would find a more pleasant stay at this price in Cheshire.

Jane’s bungalow is a great place to stay in Marple. Jane is a very responsive host and gave very clear access details. It is very well equipped with everything you could need. Also it is In a lovely quiet location within easy walking distance to the town’s facilities and railway station We had a lovely weekend in Marple and we would thoroughly recommend a stay there.

Mike’s place was perfectly described and 100% matched what we needed for a weekend away in Manchester. It was well equipped with everything you could need, and spotlessly clean. Mike was always very quick to respond to any communication and ensure everything was ok. The garden was a lovely space in which to sit and relax. Would highly recommend.

I cannot say enough good things about Nina’s place. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and the surrounding areas and garden is stunning. Nina as a host was amazing and we couldn’t have asked for better hospitality or communication. check in and check out was so easy, and the fact that Nina told us that we could check out at our leisure on Sunday meant we could have one last slow and chilled family morning together, we we couldn’t of appreciated it more! My mum had the best time staying at the cottage with our family for her 60th and we said numerous times over the weekend that we would love to come back. Thank you Nina!

We had a great stay in Richard’s property. The perfect little cottage in a beautiful setting. Communication was great throughout, we had all the information we needed ahead of our stay along with lots of local knowledge from Richard too. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful house with very spacious rooms and a pretty outdoor area with seating. Plenty of refreshments to choose from. I stayed with my indoor cats for 2 nights and they relaxed straight away too! Located just outside the town centre, but you wouldn’t realise this as it was so peaceful. Would definitely recommend Jo, the house and location. Fabulous.

We only stayed for two nights for a quick fly through visit, but we were really impressed with the flat. It was clean, tidy and comfy. We loved all the little details Sarah added in, so many recommendations on things to do and she even left us milk and biscuits for when we arrived. Really wonderful spot, great value for money, will be booking again.

A lovely little place to stay. It’s essentially one big room with 2 upper floors for the bedrooms but is more than what you need for a few nights. The location is amazing and there is everything you need in the house. Pizza oven is a nice treat

Terrys house easily accommodated our party of 8 adults 2 young children and a dog will book again. There is every conceivable item to make your stay as comfortable as possible all you need is food and yourselves. We all loved the house there’s private and quiet areas too. The lounge has a table that accommodated 10 of us easily for dinner but also space to just sit and chat or watch TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed as well as being a great communal area to eat or just chat. When we had an issue Terry arrived in person to help and offer advice. There is only parking for one car outside the house because of its location so to avoid causing problems for the neighbours we parked our 4 cars just a short distance away in the village so plenty of alternatives. Terry communicated immediately when available both before and during our stay, we used her wealth of local knowledge she gave us a great recommendation to eat at ‘The Old Hall’ just a 10 minute walk away.

This studio was in a great location for exploring Manchester and the surrounding area!

We felt very much at home here. Absolutely beautiful and well renovated home nestled in the gorgeous Yorkshire landscape. One of the nicest Airbnbs we’ve stayed at, we would have loved to stay longer if we’d had more available time. Thanks for making us feel so at ease xx

We had an amazing stay at this gorgeous barn. We had a weekend of walks planned, so this was the perfect location for what we wanted to do. Lucy was very friendly and helpful. She provided lots of useful information and the barn catered for anything you could possibly want. We had an amazing stay and will be returning in the future!

Carr Cottage is tucked away in Whaley Bridge in walking distance to all the amenities with several walks for an evening stroll. The house is traditional with some lovely features which have been incorporated to keep the feel, its warm, clean and comfortable with all you need for your stay. Helen sent good clear instructions on how to find the cottage.

An absolute gem of a place, wonderfully peaceful and in a beautiful location, with the Highland cattle and open fields on one side, and the lovely little Church on the other, well worth popping in to enjoy a quiet moment. The house is well placed for access to many places but sufficiently removed to be able to get away from it all. We would definitely recommend Feast in Congleton for freshly prepared food and a lovely coffee. We have never stayed in a cleaner, more well stocked home from home! David and Ann were lovely, popped in to check everything was OK then gave us space to enjoy the house. Everything was excellent quality, with wonderfully comfortable beds! Reading the guest book there are many repeat visitors and you can absolutely see why people would return time and time again, we certainly hope too.
