Great place to stay all in all. Christopher could work on a few things to make the stay easier for guests but this is a great spot and we loved the quiet and the privacy.

Leslie's North River Hobby Farm has an incredible charm, from the energy of the land to the craftsmanship and architecture of the buildings. We were only there for one day but the short stay was perfect to finish off our camping trip. Our glamping tent had a heater in it to take the edge off the cold nights, and we really enjoyed using the custom hot tub. Everything was kept clean, including the kitchenette and bathhouse spaces. The Farm had a nice communal vibe and we got to connect and meet some of the other guests staying there. All in all, I hope we can come back here again and stay for longer to enjoy more of the surrounding lands and offerings.

Amazing stay!! We absolutely plan to be back. We stopped at Oscar’s smoke house and grilled every night. The pictures do not do the cabin or the Hot tub justice. We got to make pizza and chat with Leslie and her daughter who are both lovely. The pizza was SO GOOD and we were even given some spare dough to take home with us. Grabbed a couple eggs for breakfast from their chicken coop. Played with the dogs. I think the only downside for me was that this particular cabin was not quite as private as I had hoped since it’s right next to the entrance, the pizza pavilion, and the parking lot for the people glamping. If you are looking for a more secluded vibe, looks like the other cabins on the property were a bit more out of sight.

What a gem of a spot Leslie’s hobby farm is! We were in the area for a white water rafting trip right down the street and this was such a perfect home base. The cabin is really impressive - clearly home to such rich history! We love the wood fired pizza option in the evening and the hot tub is definitely worth adding to your itinerary. It’s clear that Leslie has done a ton of work to make this place special. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again!

This home is so cozy. My partner and I eloped on Sunday and that night it was just us in the living room, sitting in silence watching the fire burn in the fire place. It was so dreamy. The beds were very comfortable too! Thank you for having us and our family (and fur babies!)

We had a great time at the cabin. It was peaceful and comfortable, with a nice view of the lake. Everything as described or even better. We would love to return next summer!

We had a charmed weekend here. The cabin was lovely, the lake is private and serene, lots of great hikes nearby, and we really enjoyed the free access to the kayaks and rowing boats. Jon is a lovely host, very easygoing and flexible. We’ll definitely be coming back!

This cabin in the woods is a wonderful base for exploration of the Adirondacks. If you love the outdoors, I highly recommend this airbnb as there is plenty of wild to explore within an hour drive in all directions. The house is cozy with everything you would need to live there. Myself and 9 of my friends fit in this house and we had a wonderful weekend in the adks.

We had a great time ! Lots of space and hangout areas. This is a tiny town . Fortunately we had everything we needed thanks to James! There was a little beach my teens enjoyed . This is the type of place to unwind , unplug and relax !! Thanks James !!

We had another wonderful stay at the Dollhouse. The weather was perfect and the hiking (which includes a great hike from the front door) was amazing. The sunsets on the back porch were delightful. Evenings in front of the fireplace were a great way to end the day. The accommodations were comfortable and welcoming. The Dollhouse worked perfect for a family gathering and everyone enjoyed their visit. Virginia is an exceptional and responsive host. We had a problem with the internet, and she responded immediately and solved the problem. We plan to be back again next year.

This place was perfect! Super clean and tidy, even more beautiful than the photos. Loved the quiet and peaceful location. Host was responsive & flexible and the property amenities were exactly as listed. Would definitely return/recommend!

We visited for a week with four teenagers in the upstairs bedroom and the two of us in the bedroom downstairs. We never felt cramped or bumped into each other. Plenty of space in the the house and the view from the porch was spectacular. We tied a boat to the little two-seat dock, had fires every night in the fire pit, and enjoyed coffee every morning on the back porch overlooking Long Lake. The shower drained a little slowly and we did have some issues with the WiFi going down, but a simple call to the caretakers and our issues were addressed.

Our family had a great long weekend stay here. The property was private and quiet, however just a short drive to basic amenities and great shops and attractions. The directions were clear, and we found it easy to navigate during our stay. The house was spacious, but very cozy, we felt like we were staying at a family home. Access to the water, with a nice dock and sitting area for fishing and a fire. We had a wonderful stay!

I can't remember how many times I've stayed with John and Caroline. Six? Seven? Eight? Alway wonderful. Hospitality, charm, and beauty. In elegant comfort. But this time even the weather was absolutely perfect. Balmy. Sunny. Late autumn color. But why read this review? Just look at the photos. I rest my case.

We really enjoyed our stay at Erik's place. It was very clean and as described. The bedrooms were so pleasant, and it's walking distance to the little shops in downtown Long Lake. Bonus: the kids LOVED the toys on the front porch.

Awesome place. Just what I was looking for. Fall foliage and several hikes and drives in the area were beautiful. A couple of great local restaurants and a coffee house with pastries. Matthew and Michael were very responsive to my many questions. They were great to work with. Prefect place for my week get away. Satellite TV was a plus to watch NFL and baseball playoffs. Very relaxing and cozy with a private location close to restaurants and local grocery store. Stocked with everything you need. I would definitely recommend this wonderful Adirondack Chalet and hope to return.

We had an incredible stay at this cozy cabin! It was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. Nestled in a quiet, scenic location, it was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle.Enjoying coffee on the porch, and exploring nearby trails. The private fire pit was a lovely touch for evenings under the stars. The hosts thought of everything, from kitchen supplies to extra blankets. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful, nature-filled retreat! It was our pleasure to meet Tom and Cookie:)

Beautiful, private location with a fantastic front deck and backyard fire pit. Lakefront access across the street was steep, but very spacious. Priced well for all it offered!
