Amazing city cottage close to the river .

Dukes Cottage is a beautiful and newly refurbished cottage located in Handbridge only a 5 minute walk to the Chester City Centre, the city walls and the River Dee. The house has just been completely renovated and completed in July 2021 to a very high standard with a beautiful bathroom including a roll top bath and shower and modern kitchen with all appliances. Built over 100years ago and located within just five minutes of the river and city centre, the property enjoys an amazing location.

The Lodge: A special place. With private parking.

A fully refurbished, one bedroom house (king bed), with separate entrance. Beautifully furnished with all mod cons. The open plan kitchen has everything you need, including a washer/dryer and is next to the well equipped living room with large 43in SMART TV. Parking is on our private drive, three metres from The Lodge. We have just sold the The Lodge and as a result we can't accept any booking after the end of August. if you can stay before then we'd love to see you.

Located on the River Dee, walk from here to a fun day out at Chester Racecourse. Other places worth an excursion to include Chester Roman Gardens and The Grosvenor Museum. We have really enjoyed our stay the house is beautiful. However we had two small children with us and there was no stair gate. Apart from that we can't fault it at all, we had such brilliant time. And we would book again if we are visiting Chester.

Everything went good as the place was easy to find and more or less centrally located. A random person by the name Mayur joined my reservation even though I didn't share the link with anyone else. I removed him and property manager informed they wouldn't let anyone else in. Thankfully nobody was there. it was bizarre though.

Had an amazing few days in Chester. Both James and Jan were so welcoming and always made you feel at home, plus Beverley was such a joy to see at the end of the day. Only 20mins walk into Chester town from the property, and if you like to walk then the canal is just a hop skip and jump for the door step for you to enjoy. Absolutely a lovely home thank you James and Jan I would definitely recommend a stay.

Great stay right in the heart of Chester. Very clean spacious flat that beautifully presented with everything you would need. It was easy to find. The 30 minute off road parking in nearby Bath Street made it easy to drop off bags before parking the car - lots of parking options and Rob was so helpful with instructions for this. Convenient for everything. If you are in need of a supermarket shop the Tesco in Chester does a 30 minute 'Whoosh' delivery to this address available on their app. The hosts were friendly, very easy to communicate with, and all check in instructions were simple to follow. Lots of eating options nearby and the Wetherspoons a few doors up does a fab breakfast. This was a far better option than a hotel. Will book again. Thanks you so much.
