Aileen is creating a wonderful place to stay in Harare and I felt lucky to be the first guest. Ultimately, she and her boys will not be staying there, but as they were, I had the benefit of a very attentive host who genuinely wanted to make sure I was comfortable. Just to illustrate, she made sure I could use the kitchen comfortably (accommodating allergies - making sure there wouldn't be problems with cross-contamination) and pretty much let me take over the dining room so I could work. The place itself is great - a big house in a green garden (in the rainy season!) and great attention to detail in the decor. The verandah and swimming pool are big pluses and the area is convenient, the neighbourhood great to walk around. Alice, who does the cleaning, is amazing, and one of the best people to help you improve your Shona! There are other people on the property (plus a bunch of animals) making for a very friendly space. Be aware that the common spaces are shared, and of course noise travels - so this is a good place if you want to be part of a family home, and not if you want to feel like you're in a hotel or similar, though you will have your own space. Currently, there's no back up for internet during a power cut, but check in if that's still the case and ask if you have questions, as Aileen is working on things - while I was there she purchased a gas stove, and there were plans for other things!

Highly highly recommended. What a stunning house filled with interesting art works, comfortable spaces to hang out in both inside and outside and a truly magnificent garden! The photo's do not do this beautiful house justice. The owners and the staff were friendly and helpful. We were a film crew of 7 from South Africa and we ALL loved the stay in this very special home. Clarence's house is an axcellent place to be when you're visiting Harare, it has clean bedding, everything in this accommodation is perfect, the house itself is beautiful it has its original characteristic that made it really nice and cozy. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed for our short stay the beds were very comfy, definitely I will book again.

This was one of my best findings so far as an outdoor person. I really enjoyed the area and will fully make use of my booking next time. It was a little bit of a walking distance from the road if you are using public transport but we didn’t mind as this was somewhat a spontaneous adventure. It felt peaceful, the community was really helpful since we arrived in the night and soaked by the rain. Staff was really hands on when we arrived, she made us feel warm practically, had such a lovely personality and made us feel right at home. Will definitely be returning for a longer break! Views were absolutely breathtaking

what a beautiful place to stay, amazing host, perfect location, luxurious, secure and homely. The house is very spacious, cozy and we enjoyed the refreshing pool and garden. The support staff were very helpful, friendly and we felt at home. We had a fantastic stay and this will be our second home each time we visit Harare. 10/10

The place is home far from home. Gogo made our stay. It was not just a stay, we ended up gaining lot of knowledge from Gogo. We became family and we will be back again. I recommend the place. If you are looking for a place to call home KwaGogo is the place to be.

Ruvimbo’s airbnb was spacious, clean and private located in the leafy and well maintained yard. Her sister checked us in and out and was very responsive and communicated well. The entire home was clean and the staff were professional, helpful and friendly. We had a great time and I would recommend this Airbnb over and over. Great for families and people traveling from abroad.

It was a Perfect stay at Perfect's Buffalo place. Very easy and the co-hosts Sizwe, Tatenda and Mbali were a wonderful trio. Would definitely stay again. Home away from home. Enjoyed my stay.

Pam's place is truly amazing, we so much wished we would have booked to stay her for longer, unluckily for us, it was time for us to fly back. The house is located in a beautiful, secure location, there is 24/7 security which gave us total peace of mind. The house is quite spacious with pristine lush garden and external surroundings that are well kept. The place looks even better than the pictures. We will definitely be booking this place in future. The host also gave very clear and detailed instructions on how to locate the house. The rooms are well furnished and quality, comfortable bedding provided, there is a lot of attention to detail that made sure our stay was nothing but comfortable.

Exceeded expectations. Vicky (House Manager) and James (Groundskeeper) will bend over backwards to ensure your every need is met. The property is vast and secluded. My mother and I visited during rainy season and everyday we’d sit in the sun room with the doors opened to the pool listening to the birds and raindrops in the pool. The well kept garden with various fruit trees only enhanced this experience. No issues with power, pests, or any other inconvenience during our 6 day stay. This property is conveniently off a main road. No issue with traffic noise, but may be difficult to get in/out for those who are timid drivers. If this describe you, do yourself a favor and hire a driver while in Zim - regardless where you’re staying. Nearby: Cafe De Paris (Breakfast & Pastries) - 1min KFC, Chicken Inn, Pizza Inn (Fast Food) - 3min Avondale Flea Market (Souvenirs) - 6min Borrowdale Village Walk (Shopping Center) - 15min Thank you team for making this our home away from home.

Truly worth every penny. The manicured lawn and well-maintained swimming pool were impressive. Many thanks for a wonderful stay and memorable experience.

Our stay was nothing short of amazing

Was in Zimbabwe for vacation and this place is exactly what we needed - quiet, comfortable and perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Will be staying here again next time I visit Harare :) Tafadzwa, the caretaker was amazing. He assisted us with carrying our bags when we arrived and was there to assist with anything we needed during our stay. The hosts were amazing and answered all the questions in a timely manner.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, with clear instructions provided in advance and even a map in case we got lost. The apartment looked exactly like the photos—clean and comfortable. As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed with clear guidance and everything we needed to settle in. The property was incredibly well-equipped, with everything we could need, making it feel like a home away from home. The staff truly went above and beyond throughout our stay. We were offered cleaning services as often as we needed, and when we decided to have a barbecue outdoors, one of the staff members was kind enough to help us with it all. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this place to others!

Thank you we loved our space and Lloyd the guy at the house is very responsive and helpful , very polite . He always made sure we are comfortable every time. The garden is beautiful and the grounds are well maintained it’s such a relaxing space to be at for holiday .
