Spacious and Lovely One Bedroom

The historical brown stone building was beautifully renovated a few years ago. The ceiling is high up and the room is spacious that you feel great. The mattress is one of the most comfortable ones that you can sleep like a sleeping beauty. You feel refresh in this pleasant place after the touring or working in the busy city. I hope my guest(s) feel like home in my place. I am present in the home with my guest(s) and I am ready to help with questions about NYC; transportation and museums etc.

This place is only for one person who wants a nice affordable base to get out and explore the city. you can be anywhere in Manhattan in 5-20 mins with the 456 trains only a few blocks away (Midtown 5 mins on train, Union Square 10 mins, Chinatown 20 mins) these will also get you to Brooklyn in no time. Harlem is an authentic NYC experience the neighborhood is a little rough but be polite and mind your business and you won't have any problems. VERY QUICK EXPRESS BUS TO LAGUARDIA AIRPORT

This is a WONDERFUL place!! I’m afraid to over-praise it because I want it to be available when I return to NYC. It’s *so* spacious, and beautifully furnished & decorated with dark wood and comfortable furniture—a rich and sophisticated old-world feeling. Luis is a great host—congenial, flexible, and always quickly responsive. This is a ground-level apartment, which I usually avoid, but there was plenty of light, and the back garden off the bedroom was green and protected from neighbors’ eyes—a lovely calming sight when waking up. Luis lives above, but I could barely hear him; the apartment was so quiet. And two bathrooms?! Heaven.

This was one place that matched the photos exactly! The decoration and furniture were beautiful and it’s a very comfortable stay. Location is conveniently located about 10min stroll from the subway and there’s a laundromat just a min away. Overall the apartment was comfortable and everything worked well. Just to note that the bed for the main bathroom is rather tall so if you’re petite it’s gonna take care to get in and out

Place in close to Central Park, Subway station and other local amenities. Quiet area. Had no issues with noise coming from the outside. Vigil was there to welcome me and to show me everything in the flat. She was also very helpful and friendly and answered all questions I had.

Your best bet to explore NY. We happened to spend a long weekend and found Alex’s place just perfect. Its location is amazing, within walking distance to Central Park, many restaurants and supermarkets, and close to the public transport. The room and bed were comfy, and the flat super well equipped which allowed us to cook breakfast and meals. The host was most gracious, instructions were always clear and allowed us to store our bags so we could take advantage of our time in the city. 100% recommended!

Barbara's place is very well located. You can easily walk 10 minutes to Central Park, it's 5 minutes from a metro station and it also has good buses lines near by. The room is very comfortable and the bathroom is clean and organised. The kitchen is available although it has few pots, pans and only one functioning stove. Barbara is also nice and answers all questions you might have.
