We booked this stay very last minute (the evening before), so to have found a place so beautiful with such lovely hosts was amazing. The house was gorgeous, a real home from home. It was equipped with everything you could need. The hosts had left oil, spices, tea/coffee/sugar, milk, tin foil etc and even gave us a bottle of wine. We are only local and had moved out of home due to short term renovations so needed somewhere that worked as a home not a holiday let and this was just the place. The surroundings were beautiful too. The hosts were so lovely, as were the beautiful dogs that made a fuss of us too. Nothing at all that I could fault or want to change about our stay. The best in the area for sure with such attention to detail. Although I’ll be happy to get home we will miss this place for sure! Thank you☺️

This is a fabulous place, and Jayne is a top host. Everything was way more than expected, huge, beautifully appointed place, three bathrooms, fully loaded kitchen, and the games room is fantastic. Food delivery available of every type from nearby. Great patio area and loads of parking. A truly great place to chill out and relax. Massive thank you to Jayne.

We had a peaceful weekend in cosy Narrowboat Cottage (though named as No. 9) Cottage very comfortable and kitchen had things needed as described. Upstairs had lovely view of canal and boats moving around on Sunday morning. Lovely walking along canal to the Cheshire Cheese pub going right along canal or golf coarse going left. Wish we had more time to explore but we were only up for weekend.
