The Milestone is a special place. We have a policy of NO CHILDREN UNDER 16 & NO SMOKING ON THE PROPERTY. The cabin was meticulously handcrafted over a 5-year period by the owners. Nestled in a native forest/garden setting, you can enjoy the calm and spacious atmosphere away from the pressures of life, whilst still having modern amenities at your fingertips. We happily welcome & cater for touring motorcycle rider's needs. The cabin is conveniently sited within 30 minutes of the ferries.

The Courtyard - in a beautiful rural location

The studio has a small kitchenette and a modern compact ensuite. It is fully furnished and equipped with everything needed for your stay, including free Wi-Fi and off-road parking. The stand-alone studio has its own entrance in a shared courtyard with the main house, situated on 2 hectares (5 acres) in a rural location 15-20 mins from downtown Nelson. We have cows, goats, chickens, a cat and a small aviary. You are welcome to explore the property and enjoy the views and birdlife.

Spectacular sea views over the beautiful Waikawa Bay in stunning Marlborough Sounds. A 2-minute stroll to the beach, jetty & boat ramp. Kids playground, free BBQ, small beach, jumping off water platoons, a lovely place to spend the day/evening. King bedroom upstairs with lounge, kitchen, bathroom and deck all to yourselves in an elevated position at the top of a quiet cul-de-sac. 2 rooms with beds downstairs (please note there are no windows in these rooms).

The property is waterfront so the views are amazing - weather it’s sunny or cloudy and has sunsets to die for. The water is tidal so at high tide the water laps at our lawn. At low tide we have expansive mud flats which are equally beautiful. The view is constantly changing.

The studio accommodates up to 4 people and is located in Renwick a 5 minute drive away from Blenheim Airport and 30 minutes drive to the Picton Ferry. A minimum stay for 2 nights is requested. However we can arrange for a one night stay for $20 more if you reach out to us.
