Kehena Beach Ocean Front Cliff House

This home is obviously unique and has even been featured on HGTV's Off Beat American & The Travel Channel, but it is the land itself that we fell in love with. This all-concrete house is ocean front and perched on a lava cliff at Kehena Point. The Point sticks out into the ocean further than the surrounding lava cliffs and offers unparalleled views of the coast in both directions. Located on a quiet peninsula of Keaau, in the Hawaiian Paradise Park sub-devision, just outside of Hilo, the Whale House is a stand-alone residence for one guest, families or group. A truly unique house built directly on top of an ancient lava flow. Unlike all other houses in the area, a tractor did not level the lava to build a structure. The Whale House is constructed entirely on original, untouched lava flow just yards from the Pacific Ocean.
