Stonecrackers Wood Cabin

MartinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A lovely stay in gorgeous surrounds! The scenery is beautiful, and the silence at night makes for a truly restorative experience. For future visitors, it’s helpful to keep in mind that "off-grid" means limited refrigeration space—we initially brought more food than the mini fridge could accommodate. Since this is a working farm, there may be interactions with livestock, as we experienced when the neighboring sheep wandered into the meadow. For those with dogs unfamiliar with farm life, this might require some flexibility. However, Hadyn and Caroline went above and beyond to ensure our dog could enjoy the space—at one point even rounding up the sheep themselves! Their dedication made all the difference and added to the charm of this truly special retreat.

2 bed garden cottage nestled on the edge of Exmoor

PaulRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had a lovely time in this private secluded cottage with everything we needed for a great holiday. We were given detailed information for everything in a useful app. This is a nice little village with access to the coast and Exmoor so plenty to do. The cottage is spacious with a nice patio area and plenty of room. However the garden has been neglected which blocks the nice view over the valley, the grass was cut on Thursday though which helped as our dog suffers with grass seeds so before that we had to try and keep her away from it, which was a shame. The parking space is not far but is really an overgrown lay-by and only really suitable for one car although 2 small cars may be possible. But overall you’ll have a great time here.

Fern Cottage on Exmoor National Park

A lovely place to stay with friends. The hosts were welcoming and the cottage had many thoughtful touches like board games and a welcome basket. The spa was reasonably priced and perfect for a rainy day. An idyllic getaway!

The Apartment in a Grade 2 Listed Georgian Rectory

TanyaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The place is great, the host waited for us to give us the keys which was nice. The place is well equipped and very clean. One thing I have to mention, is the noise. If you are looking for a sleep in this is not the best place to choose. The donkeys on the premises start being loud at 7 am. There were also works being done at 8 am outside the window. Apart from that, great place.

Exceptionally beautiful views!

JustineRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Me and my partner have just got back after spending 4 nights at the little barn. Everything was as described. The photos don’t do the size justice it is huge! More than enough space for 2 people. The decor is lovely and just to our tase. The shower is amazing! It was lovely to see the horses and pony right outside the kitchen and bedroom window. Also the chickens roaming freely. Everything we wanted or needed plus more was there, tea, coffee , sugar and milk for when we arrived, oh and the lovely farm fresh eggs, these were delicious! The kitchen is kitted out perfectly. The hot tub on the decking area was an added bonus, watching the sun set of an evening whilst enjoying an Aperol spritz was amazing. Also the bbq was a superb added touch. Philippa was a perfect host! There if you needed. Philippa also advised us of places to go, I can highly recommend Tavistock, a lovely town only half an hour away. There’s plenty of places to visit. We have already booked for next year!

The old engine house

MaxwellRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Airbnb review Fantastic little gem for our week long stay. On arrival we received a very warm welcome by both Collin and Catherine as well as some freshly baked scones for afternoon tea. Kitchen was fully equipped. There are plenty of books and games to keep you occupied if you wanted to just sit back and relax in the garden. Great location to explore north Devon coast. Would recommend hiring bikes from Barnstaple train station for the day and explore the Tarka trail. Thank you for opening your home to us. :)
