Apartment holiday rentals in Helston

After a long journey from Wiltshire, it was great to unpack, open some wine and unwind at Little Penolver. It is a lovely little self contained dwelling and you instantly feel welcome. Great little extras like the Cornish cream tea ready and waiting for us (jam first people!), dog treats, extra blankets, milk in the fridge, etc just added to the positive experience. Additionally, there was plenty of useful local information provided in the welcome pack. We’ll definitely be back (hopefully not when the place is being battered by a massive storm! 😜) and we’d highly recommend Jo and Matt’s AirBNB accommodation. As the locals say: “ Proper job!”. 👍🏻

Me and my husband had a wonderful stay at the annex, we will definitely return again when we visit Cornwall. The place was very clean, lovely house, we felt at home. And if something needed when I contacted Gordon, he answered straight away and attended our needs. We were very happy.

Easy to find. Really good lockated for people walking the coast path. Super easy checkin and checkout. Clean and comfortable room. Would book it always again.

The location is central St Ives and is perfect for a small break in the town - the view from the kitchen/lounge over looks the harbour and is perfect to watch the slow early morning wake up

Chloe and Mark were very responsive and helpful with all our queries. They even cleaned the apartment 3days into our stay. My daughters loved the beach equipment they had provided. All in all, a pleasure.

Absolutely loved staying at this Airbnb. It’s really comfortable, incredible views, and the location is perfect. It has everything you need. Only thing to note is that the bus stops regularly opposite the flat, and the second level of the double decker bus looks directly into the flat so you’ll occasionally lock eyes with someone on the bus if you’re in the living room. Didn’t really bother us though

Fantastic place to stay!! The view is absolutely incredible and worth the money alone. Flat was really spacious and is decorated really well it could easily fit a family of four, the amenities within the flat are perfect with everything you need for a stay away. Beds and linen were really good clean and fresh as were all the towels with both bathrooms clean and tidy with great facilities, the on-site parking was such a great perk when in Newquay. Can’t recommend this air b&b enough and we will definitely return for another stay. Thanks again

We had a fabulous week. We were very lucky with the weather. The coastal views are staggering. We loved the constant changing colours of the landscape and sea. The SW Coast path was yards from the apartment, and the walk into Coverack easily manageable by road and path. Lovely rocky beach/cove in front of the building. Instructions for getting there were perfect, local team good at resolving a question we had. Even though it is remote and there were very few people around in February, we felt very safe and secure with the door code and keys. In the apartment, the lounge was a lovely relaxing area, good TV and internet coverage. Quite spacious with wide hallway, good sized bedroom and lounge kitchen diner. More than enough space for two. The balconies were excellent, it was warm enough to open a door and stand outside for a short while. The apartment was wonderfully warm, so cosy with 50mph winds on one evening. Thank you for the milk and biscuits. Hope to return one day.

A lovely place to stay with wonderful views over the harbour. Well equipped for nights in if you haven’t been tempted by the vast array of local eateries.

Cornwall has always been a special place for me and my partner, and since staying at Black Moon it has become our new favourite place yet! Little did my partner know, but we just got engaged here and it was the perfect place to propose and will always been an amazing memory. From the minute we booked, to the time we checked out, we couldn’t have asked for a better host and place to stay. What you see is what you get, so if you’re considering staying here… BOOK IT!

We very much enjoyed our week long stay in the apartment. The apartment, especially the kitchen, was equipped with great attention to detail. Loved the refillable toiletries, and eco toilet paper. Very dog friendly place with good walks possible right from the door. Apartment was nice and cool even in the heatwave. A perfect base for exploring Hayle's shops, beaches and surrounding attractions as well as the wider area. Dedicated parking was great to have and really made it easier to get around. Have recommended it to friends.

With a stunning location and lots of beautiful places to explore close by it was perfect for us. The village was a lovely walk and had everything we needed. The cafe next door, run by Joanna and her team had the most incredible afternoon cream teas. Breakfast food was also good. We also ate at The Old Inn a beautiful pub in the village, again amazing food and excellent service. We even had a locally cooked Curry take away from the village. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Lovely apartment, tastefully furnished and beautifully clean with everything you could need. We felt at home as soon as we walked through the front door. The photos don’t do it justice. The rooms are larger than paper in the photos and the sea view is amazing. You really can wake up listening to the sound of the waves on the beach. It’s in a great position for walks on the South West Coast Path and convenient for exploring the Lizard Peninsula. It was only a 5 min walk to the beachside bar and cafe/restaurant, The Welloe, where we had a number of meals with amazing sea views. We can’t wait to come back.

The apartment was so stylish spacious and beautifully furnished. The kitchen and bathrooms were modern and clean and the extras like prosecco and milk in the fridge were a welcoming touch. I also enjoyed the complimentary use of the hotel pool which was only a short stroll away. I look forward to a return visit next time I'm in Falmouth.

We had a lovely break. The apartment is in a fantastic location with the most amazing view. We took our bikes with us and there was plenty of space round the side outside to store them. Everything inside was very clean. Would definitely stay again 😊

We absolutely loved our stay at Mary’s beautiful home. It exceeded our expectations the location was incredible, only a short and beautiful walk into the town. Next to the best beach. Every room was very clean and had everything we needed. Mary was very help helpful and quick to respond to any queries. Would highly recommend. Made a special birthday just perfect.

Stunning apartment, spacious and modern . Very clean. Welcome pack provided and toiletries. Beautiful views across the bay. 5 min walk down to the sea. 10 mins back ( uphill ! ) Lovely balcony to have a glass of wine. Peaceful location. Would thoroughly recommend.

We had the most amazing weather for our stay. Two of us shared the apartment. We discovered various steps to take us to town. The cab to the flat from the station was only £6 and well worth it on the way up! We really enjoyed The Sloop Inn and a restaurant called Silko on the quay St Ives. The best coffee by far was Mount Zion. The flat was really quiet and the beds comfortable. The Spa was really great and the views from the Spa Hotel were great. Lunch there was v tasty and the staff were sympathetic.

We had a fantastic stay here with our dog. Beautiful views and conveniently located to visit many of the stunning surrounding areas. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful apartment , very modern and very clean and very well furnished. Amazing views from both balconies. The estate has wonderful grounds. We enjoyed the pool , sauna , spa , pool tables and table tennis. Fabulous restaurant called the Cove at the entrance to the estate . Food was amazing , staff there were wonderful . The beach opposite the estate was lovely. We would definitely return to Mel's place again . Thank you Mel for the lovely cream tea awaiting us on our arrival . We can highly recommend Mel's place . All in all a wonderful week .

Absolutely beautiful apartment and location. Furniture and decoration wonderful. All instructions and recommendations were brilliant. Great base for travelling around Cornwall and going back to in the evenings. Stunning view and wonderfully clean public areas. The balcony was quite dirty ( not just the fault of the seagulls) and the outdoor furniture tired. Overall we loved it and were sad to leave today. We didn’t need to contact the host at all.

The location and accommodation were both first class. It was great to begin each day with a soak in the hot tub and also when we returned in the evening. We cooked most evenings and the kitchen had all the essentials. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms spotless.
