The cabin is located at the foot of Høllekølten, surrounded by beautiful nature and excellent hiking terrain that offers activities all year round. Proximity to cross country trails, alpine slopes, randonee and to Hemsedal city center! A good winter tire is a must! The cabin is well equipped, with practical solutions. The outdoor area offers a terrace, and a fire pit with barbecue and fire pit.

You get the feeling of being "alone in the whole world" despite 7 minutes to Fagernes town. Mindfulness. About 2.5 hours drive towards Valdres from Oslo. There is electricity and wood burning. Høgestølen is located about 25 min. from Hemsedal center (alpine center), 15 min. to grocery store, and about 5 min. to a network of cross country trails. The cottage is heated with electricity and firewood, heating cables in the bathroom and combined washer/dryer .The cottage is steep to the east! Car way to the door, possible to park right outside. Here you can experience total silence. In the summer there will be cows and sheep in the area.

Cozy family cabin right by one of Norway's best trout rivers. Large terrace with seating and amazing views right out to the river and the mountains around. There is NO WIFI in the cabin. TV on the wall for connecting your own equipment. Very good 4G coverage in the area. This is our little family cabin and we hope you take good care of it during your stay. Cleaning must be done by the tenant, so that it looks clean and nice for the next guest.
