Beautiful location to stay in! Breathtaking views and great trails all around. The staff was also great.

Perfect escape for three generations! Reviews are very accurate! We have been using Airbnb almost exclusively over a dozen years, this experience was at the top of our list! Granddaughter (age 6) caught one fish after another. A great memory for her! Air conditioning was so comfortable for an older home. Generous space to spread out in huge rooms!

This is a great house - very clean, beautiful back porch view, and lots of space. We especially appreciated the upstairs and downstairs living areas. The kids had their own space in the evenings. Kitchen was large and well-appointed, comfy beds and nice bathrooms. The location is very close to Dupont Forest and the cute town of Cedar Mountain. Brevard is about 20 minutes away. We didn't take advantage of the community amenities but there is a pool, tennis, pickleball, fishing etc. Stephanie was very responsive as well.

It was a wonderful stay. The hot tub was plenty big enough, and the home was very spacious.

This place was so fantastic we are starting a new tradition of staying here! Easy access to the lake, the amenities were FAR BEYOND expectations and the proximity to local parks can’t be understated. Don’t look elsewhere, just book this location and you will be very happy.

If you want to visit Asheville and still have a quiet place, this place fits the bill. An added bonus is the lively town of Henderson and a great little national park nearby

Amazing property! Beautiful views! Quiet serene lake with fun water activities available. The house was well appointed with everything we needed to be comfortable! The beds were comfortable! The welcome gift was so sweet. A perfect restful retreat for a long weekend with my daughters!! We will look to rent again next time we are in this area!

Best top of the mountain view of Lake Sheila possible (Saluda, NC). The property was more spacious and the views more breathtaking than the photos could represent. Great and proactive host as well, glad to give solid 5 stars and would like to visit again.

This was such a cute Airbnb. Tammy was a wonderful host, friendly, and very responsive. We enjoyed our time there and was able to take our their kayaks. This is a place I’d stay again when in the area!

This was the nicest Airbnb we have ever stayed in. It was small, but had everything we needed to enjoy our week. It was nice to be able to cook some of our meals in the well supplied kitchen. Everything was very clean and neat, and the surroundings were beautiful. We were able to spend time with Steve and Susie and they were very helpful and enjoyable. The only problem we had was finding the home on the first day, but this was due to road construction that blocked the way into the residential area. We had to come through the main gate of Lake Junaluska and stop for directions. The neighborhood was very nice and we enjoyed walking around the lake and just sitting, enjoying the scenery. We hope to someday return and enjoy this lovely apartment again.

I have stayed in Carolyn's units several times. She is a fantastic host and very responsive. The apartment had everything we needed for a week's stay. There are snacks too! We were at a conference with people dropping in for lunch so I particularly appreciated the extra table and chairs. I slept on the bed and sofa and both were comfortable. The lake view and access to the walking trail are perfect. The close proximity to Stuart Auditorium was a must for me. I highly recommend Carolyn's units and am already booked for next year.

A very nice location and Abigail was very responsive. I will stay again! I build barndominium all over upstate. This is the place I will stay forever as long as it's available!

ms.sandy and her husband are the sweetest people ever, we missed check in by 4 hours so she was worried and made sure we were okay, upon arrival and her explaining everything to us she took the time to made sure we ate something and made us a smoothie just in case we didn’t. she has the most beautiful home and it’s exactly like the pictures. when you look over the balcony at night you see the most beautiful firefly’s, and wake up to the most brightest sunrises, you can even see the mountains in the back!! the room was so clean and spacious so we will definitely be back again and hopefully for longer!

We stayed here after our busy wedding weekend and I'm so glad we did. After the first day, we decided to extend our stay another day. The property is beautiful, the family is nice and so are the animals. It was refreshing to live life without technology and just enjoy the serene surroundings. I loved every minute of it, and all of the little details Melodie made time to do. We'll become regulars returning more often in the future. Thanks so much Melodie for being awesome!

Great location I will certainly miss being able to walk right down to the lake. Leslie is a phenomenal host and did a great job of communicating and taking care of any things that came up during our roughly 8 month stay. she was also very accommodating in helping us and other tenants that were impacted by hurricane Helene. kudos Leslie well done!

This was a fantastic space. It felt like living in a tree house, but with a large comfortable bed and comfortable couches. I loved the natural setting, from the stone path and the lake and trees outside to the sound of rain on the roof. The neighborhood was beautiful and peaceful also.

Wonderful cabin nestled in the woods. You feel secluded but aren’t far away from Hendersonville or local things to do. The cabin was great—clean, had everything we needed, and the extra touches that make it feel like home. My dog loved the huge property and I loved that it was fenced in and safe so he could run around off leash. Brian and Michele were lovely and made check in and check out easy (no crazy list of things to do when checking out like a lot of airbnbs!). Will definitely be staying here again when I’m back in the area!

We had a quick stay for camp drop off. Very comfortable home and beds. Clear instructions for getting there and staying.

Great spot for a family getaway! The home is perfectly located for enjoying the nearby state park and exploring the surrounding area. There's plenty of space both indoors and out to relax, with two large and very comfortable rooms-each with its own bathroom-which made things super convenient. The basement has been nicely updated and includes two single beds, though with narrow stairs and low lighting, It's probably better suited for kids or teens rather than adults. While the keyless entry didn't work as expected, the host had a solid backup plan in place, and everything else ran smoothly. The house was clean and well-kept, though we did notice a strong smell of garbage when we first arrived and ended up grabbing some air fresheners. Overall, a great experience in a beautiful location-would definitely come back!

Sylvie’s home was beautiful, filled with details that made it both functional and homey (eg, a full spice rack, and even lotion). We loved our stay and they even let us extend it for a reasonable fee. The location is amazing — tucked away with privacy, but very easy to get to all the beautiful attractions in the area. Thanks for your responsiveness and answering my questions along the way!

From first contact, the Hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. The house was in a great location for our family's needs for this trip. We found the beds to be very comfortable, and the linens were spotless. I really enjoyed the enclosed back area off the deck with a great view of the lake. It was my go-to place in the mornings for coffee- loved it! Everywhere you looked there were amenities not mentioned in the listing. From great coffee availability to a well-stocked bath, including a first aid kit, the Hosts definitely have the comfort of the Guests in mind. The drive into Hendersonville from the house went through neighborhoods, allowing us to see shops and restaurants outside the downtown area. Want to come back just to do more exploring of the town. Pepper's Place was perfect for our family of four for a short getaway in the greater Greenville area. The views of the lake were outstanding from the living room, deck, and primary bedroom, and we enjoyed swimming and paddling off the dock. The cottage was very clean and spacious with a great layout. Highly recommended!

Ron and Debbie are wonderful. They always responded and went above and beyond. They make you feel so welcome. Homey little cottage feels like home and only five miles from town. Will definitely be back in the future.
