Family-friendly holiday rentals in Henley Beach

This was my second time staying at Cathy’s place, and once again, it was a great experience. The apartment is in a very convenient location — just a short walk to Chinatown, with easy access to shops and restaurants. Cathy is a wonderful host; communication was smooth and she responded quickly to any questions or requests. The check-in process was easy, and the apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a short or extended stay. I really appreciated the thoughtful touches that made the space feel welcoming. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Trudi’s place is the perfect city HQ for events at the Adelaide Convention Center across the street. We could walk and catch the free tram to the South Australian Museum, Adelaide Botanic Garden, Adelaide Central Market, great restaurants, and more. It was wonderful to have a full kitchen, laundry, and beautiful space to return to each evening. It is well thought out and very clean, and Trudi is so friendly, responsive, and welcoming. We highly recommend!

Madeleine’s place was clean, neat and comfortable. She was very responsive and helpful prior and during our stay. Our toddler had a great time and the cot and high chair were extremely helpful and allowed us to pack lighter!

I booked this accommodation for my mum for her 70th Birthday gift. My mum was very happy with the attention to detail and how homely the place felt.

Lisa’s place was perfect for our family of 4 getaway. Located right on the beach with gorgeous views of the sunset and 10 minutes drive to the McLaren Vale winery. The beds were really comfy and the living room spacious. Lisa was a perfect host

Sally was a lovely host and her house was perfect. Had everything we needed and communication was great. We needed to stay an additional week as insurance repairs on our home had not been completed and Sally was extremely accommodating for us. Would definitely recommend. Lovely townhouse by the beach with plenty of local restaurants and cafes!

Jackie's property was an ideal home away from home. Clean, welcoming, a fabulous outdoor space for humans and fur kids, walking distance from the beach and minutes from local shops. We enjoyed our stay and would happily return again!

We loved saying hello to Murphy the donkey and all of his furry friends every day. The Red Shed is in a private and peaceful location just a stones throw from the bustling Main Street of Hahndorf. Such a beautiful stay. Everything you could want staying in McLaren Vale. Two wonderful wineries a stone throw away, lots of things to do if you want to get out and about. One of our days was rainy and cold, we lit the fire and spent time reconnecting drinking the beautiful wine we had bought the day before with lovely produce from the area. Samantha was a great host!

Lovely house, great location, and well appointed. Hosts were responsive without being intrusive. We had a very nice stay.

Dog friendly accomodation with a large secure yard. Great house to stay with a couple of friends and our dogs. Well stocked kitchen and nice quality sheets and towels

I’m a regular user of AirBnB when I travel, and this place is easily rated in my top selection! Easy to access the property - great instructions on the how and what. I was staying with my mother - the double room + single bed/office was perfect - very comfortable. As a couple, I could easily imagine staying here myself for longer and working remotely with the office set-up. The decor/interior matches the photos - the property feels even bigger in reality. Functionally - everything was perfect, fantastic coffee machine (there are two coffee shops literally within 1 min walk from the front door) Location - fabulous. If you like to run/walk- you’re 10mins away from the beautiful Victoria park, which features endless space and wetlands area. Norwood is a gorgeous historic area, with tree-lined streets and historic homes. The bus is 450m away, and supermarkets 10mins walk. Thanks so much Barbara for a wonderful stay!! Would absolutely stay again!!

We enjoyed our stay. Easy access to Glenelg, Adelaide and surrounds by car and public transport. While you don’t get the sea view you avoid roasting in the afternoon sun which can be a problem on Adelaide’s waterfront even with AC. The apartment has good facilities for food and laundry and Inna supplied some basics and some lovely treats. The parking space is ok for a small car but we are glad we did not have our Land Cruiser Prado.

Great apartment, very spacious and clean. Excellent location, walking distance to everything. We will be back!

What a great place to stay. Old, but clean and specious with everything you would want including home grown tomatoes and homemade fig jam. the gardens, unfortunately affected by the drought, are great. We would have loved to see them in their full glory. The owners were great also and promptly top us up with a couple of items we were running out of. We would certainly stay again.

Our group had a fantastic stay. We enjoyed the pool and use of the projector. We enjoyed the space greatly and highly recommend to all. All communication was greatly appreciated. Thank you for having us. We would love to return again.

We chose this property based on its location, size and the fact it had a large pool for the kids – it did not disappoint on any of these. Location was great for us, albeit a little further out of the city but our priority was to be close to the beach and as it was only one block away, it was perfect. The property is about a 15min walk from Semaphore centre which has plenty of amenities, small supermarket, restaurants and shops and with Henley beach less than a 10 minute drive away, there are plenty of options. The property has lots of space, the four bedrooms were a good size. The living areas were substantial as were the outdoor areas. The property would benefit from some cosmetic work, some paint was peeling off in some areas but this did not detract in any way from our stay. We would certainly stay at this property again. Our wedding party stayed at Three Hills the night before our wedding. The hosts were so responsive and helpful, with lots of thoughtful gifts and supplies for us throughout the house. Lynn and Stefan were super helpful when one of our group accidentally locked themselves out and got the house open for them in no time. The house was immaculate, with lots of natural light and space. It was perfect for getting wedding ready and the views offered great photo locations. it was an incredible space and we will definitely be returning for future visits.
