Approx 10-15 mins drive from Dunedin city centre and 3 mins to historic Port Chalmers and some of the best beaches and coastal scenery Otago has to offer all nearby.

Located on the edge of Mosgiel is our private suite, attached to our home situated in 5 acres. All the benefits of being rural but only 2 minutes by car to Mosgiel New World and shops. 15 minutes drive to Dunedin airport Or Dunedin city. No street noise so a very peaceful place to stay. You have your own living space, bedroom, bathroom, car park and patio to relax outside. Sofa bed in the living area sleeps two. Great place to enjoy the stars at night with no street lights. This 'tiny home' is set in our beach garden and a 2 minute stroll down the access track will take you onto a stunning beach. The studio is comfortable, warm and ideal for a 1 night getaway. There are limited cooking facilities but a 7 minute drive takes you to Green Island where you'll find Fresh Choice, McDonald's, Biggies pizza and other takeaway shops. Popular Brighton Beach and cafe is a 5 minute drive away, the CBD 20 minutes and Dunedin Airport is also a 20 minute drive.

Karaka Alpaca B&B Farmstay

The original half of the homestead was built in 1868, and while the guest accomodation was developed about a century later, it has been tastefully designed to replicate the character of the main home. Stay in a tree house, nestled among the native trees and birds, with your own private deck, views looking over the taieri mouth river and ocean and straight to Moturata Island which is a distinctive landmark and can be walked to at low-tide. the Studio is heated by heat pump, double glazing, very cosy warm space. access to property does have a steep driveway but the view is worth it.
