We just stayed in Skaven for an extended weekend, but felt immediately at home and there is absolutely nothing to complain about. We loved the house, the location close to the Fjord and, as it was still early season, the lonelyness and therefore the walks with our dog or riding arround w/ our bikes. Would definitely recommend the house and maybe we will come back next year, but than for more than 4 nights / 3 days!

We had a great stay! The hvide sande area, the hottub and the opportunity to take a dog with us - made the stay perfekt. We would come again! 🌟

Beautiful and quiet place where we felt at home. I have to appreciate the comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen and board and garden games. We did not meet the host, but they communicated with us promptly and in a friendly manner. Thank you for the small gift in the fridge and the nice welcome letter.

The stay was wonderful! The house has a great location and you can get to the beach in 3 minutes by car. The house is nicely decorated and can accommodate many people. You can sit together super socially both outside and inside. We would definitely come back!

Great location for exploring this part of Juttland. It's close enough to the coast if you want it, but far enough away to have peace and quiet.

I had a very relaxing, relaxing stay with my dog in August's house after exhausting training sessions. It exceeded my expectations in every way. We immediately felt at home. There is a lot of space and wonderful beds. Everything is newly renovated and wonderfully clean. A large winter garden creates additional space and the house is surrounded by a small Thank you August for letting us stay in your house. We would be happy to come back

A cozy house where the details have been made more than you experience elsewhere.

We were away five adults and five children, it was a great setting for us. Nice rooms and cozy living room. Well-equipped kitchen. The pool was nice and very clean and it was lovely with the spa. It's a bit far to the beach on foot but a short drive. Christence responded immediately to all questions and was very helpful.

Very nice stay, The beach is not realistically accessible on foot with children or if you want to do it several times, but it is great by car or bike. We had a problem with the accommodation but after a short phone call the landlord came directly to us an hour later to help. The whirlpool is very cool. Unfortunately, the grill is not a charcoal grill! Accommodation is recommended 👍

We booked the apartment and I can say that it was a perfect experience! The landlords were very friendly and helpful. They welcomed us warmly and gave us all the information we needed. The apartment was very clean and tidy. Everything was ready for the arrival and the basics were all available. The view and location were great and it was great for holidays with children. Playgrounds, beach, meadow... Everything is very well maintained and tidy. Thanks for the wonderful time!

There were seven of us in the house for a workation and can only say: It was perfect all around! The furnishings leave nothing to be desired – from the excellent internet connection (ideal for working) to the well-equipped kitchen, where really almost everything was available. Especially the activity room, the spacious living-dining area and the hot tub as a highlight have made our stay memorable. Clear recommendation – we will be happy to come back!

A very nice host with a huge garden (with football goal and trampoline) as well as a sensational pool outbuilding for free use incl. Whirlpool + sauna + a large smart TV. Just wow! Everything was as described. A dream for children and families, although the host lived on site, it was very private. Can we recommend it with a clear conscience.

Anno 1871 is a stunning property that feels frozen in time—until you step inside and find a beautifully modernized interior finished to the highest standard. Despite the updates, it retains its charm and character. Nestled in the countryside, it offers peace while being just a six-minute drive to the nearest shop and an excellent base for exploring Denmark—45 minutes to Lalandia and an hour to Billund. The nearby beach is breathtaking. The wilderness bath is a must. Tucked away in the courtyard, it is perfect for unwinding. Host Stefan went above and beyond, even preheating it before our arrival. A minor heating issue was resolved instantly, and he generously offered unlimited logs. Though near working farms, don’t let that put you off—this place is a hidden gem. If you seek tranquillity with modern comforts, I highly recommend Anno 1871. We will definitely return!

We were in the accommodation from Friday to Monday and were completely satisfied! The house is clean, cozy and nicely decorated. Helle is super friendly and responded very quickly and in detail to each of my messages! Simply great! Thank you!!!!

We had a very relaxing stay in a beautiful place, great view of the heathland, blooming broom and very tastefully decorated cottage. We also liked the location in the holiday home area.

This is the second time we visit this cozy cabin in the middle of quiet nature, and it will not be the 🌲☀️ last time was in the summer heat, but it could definitely also warm up in the cabin with the small oil fireplace here in the autumn weather 🍁 so cozy! Mega sweet and flexible host who has made sure everything was ready and nice for us ♥️

We felt very comfortable during our stay! The accommodation was cozy and well equipped - exactly as described. We would especially like to highlight the great host: Henning was always available and really took care of our concerns. Beautiful place and luxurious house with all the amenities we needed for our stay and something extra. Beautiful, quiet and suitable environment for us. The host was helpful and offered the possibility of contact, but since the house was fully equipped and the arrival information was accurate, we did not need it at all. I can highly recommend a beautiful place and really beautiful accommodation.

We immediately felt very comfortable, the large room was immediately positively received and used by our children. Everything is there, no wishes remain unfulfilled. Steen (Helle's husband) is super friendly, we would have liked to have had a more intensive conversation, but unfortunately we only speak mediocre English. Nevertheless, we were able to clarify everything important. We definitely recommend the place, especially with children it is great! 👍🏻
