Family-friendly holiday rentals in Heraklion

Wir waren acht Frauen, die eine Woche in der Villa Rodea verbracht haben. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit, der Ausblick ist wundervoll und wir hatten eine unkomplizierte Betreuung durch das Komos-Team. Wir kommen wieder.

We have just had the most gorgeous family holiday at Villa Belle Helene . It is the perfect villa equipped to the highest standards both inside and out and exceeded all our expectations. Inside is spacious and all the rooms have excellent air conditioning which was very welcome in the heat. We spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoor areas, especially the pool and jacuzzi which were perfect to cool down in the heat and to enjoy. The sheltered area outside the lounge is perfect for eating and BBQs and the raised outdoor seating area with TV provides the opportunity to unwind in an evening. It is 10 mins walk up to Old Hersonnissus which has a lovely square with Tavernas and bars. Hiring a car is worthwhile to explore the island further but not essential as its easy to book taxis. Eleni and her family are absolutely lovely, they could not be more helpful and made us so welcome. We would absolutely recommend this villa and would love to stay again if we go back to Crete.

La villa était superbe, décorée avec beaucoup de goût ! Le linge de lit et serviettes étaient impeccable de très bonne qualité : Guy Laroche. La cuisine était assez bien équipée : nous avons eu pendant quelques jours un chef cuisinier sous la recommandation de Stefani et c’était juste incroyablement bon et belle découverte. Le petit village à côté est très mignon et non loin de la villa : ce qui était pratique. La villa est idéalement bien située. Nous pensions que la villa était dans un endroit un peu « seule » mais ce n’était pas totalement le cas; ce qui nous a fait un peu peur au début et finalement c’était très calme, agréable. Chez Antonis et Stefani nous nous sentons vraiment comme à la maison : c’était très propre à notre arrivée. Stefani nous a accueilli chaleureusement, elle a été une hôte très réactive et répondant de façon très efficace dès que nous avions une question ou un petit problème. Elle est souriante c’est fort agréable. Nous recommandons leur villa.

Tasos est un hôte extrêmement accueillant. À notre arrivée tardive, nous avons trouvé un frigo et un congélateur généreusement garni. Des fruits, des confitures, des biscottes et des boissons fraîches et chaudes nous attendaient. Et Tasos a été absolument adorable pour nous faciliter le séjour. Nous lui en sommes très reconnaissants. Son appartement est très agréable , le jacuzzi et la vue magnifique en font une perle rare. Nous recommandons vivement cette location, encore plus appréciée grâce aux nombreux détails auxquels Tasos a pensé.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ! Tout s'est très bien passé. Le logement était conforme à nos attentes : confortable, bien équipé. Un grand merci à Angelina et Céline pour leur disponibilité et leur gentillesse, aussi bien avant notre arrivée que pendant le séjour. Le seul petit bémol, que nous connaissions à l'avance, est l'emplacement un peu isolé qui nécessite d'être véhiculé. Heureusement un service de navette est proposé, ce qui est un vrai plus. Une adresse que nous gardons précieusement et que nous recommandons !

Superbe endroit avec une jolie décoration. Une terrasse pour se détendre et prendre ses repas à couper le souffle. Manolis et sa femme sont très charmant et d une extrême gentillesse. L hospitalité crétoise au rendez vous, nous avons eu droit à des légumes, du pain, confiture , miel, des petits mets préparés.... Je recommande fortement cette adresse lors d un passage dans la région.

Very high class Villa, if you are looking for quality accommodation then look no further. My family consisted of 7 adults and an 18 month old, stayed for 8 days. Everyone loved it. There is a great traditional taverna only 10 minutes walk away, a big supermarket 15 mins by car and great beach again just 15 mins by car. We were there in May, spend most of the time around the pool and firing up the fantastic BBQ!

The villa is even bigger and more beautiful than on the pictures. It is a little paradise with peacocks and own olive farm and little pond with red fish and parrots. It was just unbelievable! We celebrated our wedding with 30 people there and I could not imagine more suitable place for pictures, videos and fun! It is unforgettable, has everything you need and very private. The owner was so helpful and gave us his home made drinks as a gift. I am super happy that I found this paradise and will defo want to come back again and again!

nous avons passé une belle semaine dans le logement de Maria. La terrasse couverte est la plus belle pièce de la maison avec une vue magnifique sur la mer. La plage est à moins de 5 min à pied, par contre attention, pour les personnes qui ont des difficultés à marcher, la pente est plutôt raide à remonter. Maria est très réactive et répond très vite aux messages. agia pelagia reste une petite station balnéaire très bien situé pour visiter le Nord de l'île. Belle découverte

The pictures don’t do this view justice. It’s breathtaking! The home is gorgeous and the outdoor space is wonderful. It was too cold for us to swim but we still enjoyed time at the beach. Most of the immediate area was already shut down for the season during our stay but there is a lovely area about a mile walk away. We spent a lot of time there enjoying the coffee shops and restaurants. The house and rooms were fantastic and there was more than enough space for everyone to relax. The host was amazing and went above and beyond to help us when we left some glasses at a restaurant. Thank you so much for a great stay!!

We loved staying at Petros's place. The location is picture perfect and completely serene, coupled with the stunning views - perfect getaway gem. The villa is beautifully designed with lots of places to explore and hang out in. Petros is very accommodating and all around helpful from assisting us in setting up the outdoor speakers to offering to make restaurant reservations on our behalf. We had an absolutely amazing time and hope to stay at the villa again when we come back to Crete. Highly recommend!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans l’appartement de Christina. L’appartement est très bien équipé et on se sent comme à la maison. Christina est très réactive et nous a proposé des adresses de restaurants dans les environs. Encore merci pour tout.

Das wunderschöne Haus liegt auf einer Anhöhe mit tollem Meerblick und ist auf 2 Ebenen errichtet und sehr gut in Schuss. Gleiches gilt für die gediegene Inneneinrichtung, da bleibt kein Wunsch offen. Das Gebäude ist von einem gepflegtem Garten umgeben, der mit seinen Beeten und Mäuerchen an einen kleinen Park erinnert. Unser Gastgeber Manos ist sehr freundlich, relaxt und hilfsbereit. Mit der Wahl dieser Destination kann man nichts falsch machen: 10 Minuten zum Flughafen , 2 Autominuten zum sehr schönen Sandstrand, 10 Minuten zu einem grossen Lebensmittelgeschäft, wo man alles erhält, - tolle Lage, was will man mehr? Gerne wieder und auf Bald, lieber Manos.

Une vue imprenable dans un lieu très bien équipé et confortable, il ne manque rien. Un environnement entouré de montagnes et un beau jardin qu’on peut utiliser. Il y a plusieurs activités intéressantes dans la région en plus de la ville d’Heraklion qui se situe à 20 minutes seulement en auto. Les propriétaires habitent en haut mais ils sont à la fois très accueillants et très discrets. Un grand merci spécial à Katy pour sa gentillesse mais aussi pour toutes ses attentions. À notre arrivée, nous avons reçu des petits plats, etc… et avons eu l’occasion de goûter la soupe traditionnelle préparée par notre hôte à l’occasion de la fête de Pâques. We just loved everything about this airbnb!!!!! The house was AMAZING, incredible views, incredible features, we went to the pool, did barbecue, breakast with ocean view, everything and more we expected! Konstations is THE BEST host we ever got!! Not only he was hiper reactive, attentious ( he made sure to got us on the airport so we arrive well, his mom cooked us food because they would imagine we would arrive late and hungry), incredibly generous and nice!! We have many tips and support during the full trip ! Everything and more that we expected! Thank you again

Mai 2025, 10 Nächte Aufenthalt zu dritt (2 Erwachsene, 1 Kleinkind). Die Villa ist wirklich traumhaft. Wunderschöner Blick aufs Meer und die Bucht. Sie bietet sehr viel Platz auch für mehr Personen (2 Paare, 4-6 Freunde, 2 Familien) und für längere Aufenthalte (Stauraum, Schränke und Regale, etc.). Die Ausstattung entspricht der Beschreibung und bietet, auch in der Küche, alles was man brauchen kann. Unser Highlight war die überdachte Terrasse. Unser Flug wurde kurzfristig vorverlegt. Ein deutlich früherer Check-In war in unserem Fall überhaupt kein Problem. Stelios ist ein sehr freundlicher, hilfsbereiter und engagierter Gastgeber. Wir empfehlen Ihn und seine Villa ohne Einschränkung weiter. Kleine Einschränkung: die Unterkunft ist etwas ab vom Schuss bzw. die Region ist etwas zersiedelt (hauptsächlich wegen der Geographie des Geländes). Ohne eigenes Auto wird es etwas schwierig unserer Meinung nach. Einen kostenfreien Parkplatz direkt am Haus gibt es aber.

Wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohl gefühlt, waren immer gut betreut und die Wohnung entsprachvoll unseren Erwartungen. Man muss wissen, dass in den Abendstunden auch das ein oder andere Flugzeug nach Heraklion fliegt. Ein kleiner Supermarkt ist direkt vor Ort und zu Fuß in 2Minuten erreichbar. Ansonsten ist ohne Mietwagen ein schnelles Einkaufen oder Essen gehen mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln nicht so einfach. Mit Auto alles kein Problem in fünf Minuten in großer Auswahl. Die Aussicht und die Wohnung sind sehr gut. Schwimmen vor Ort zu Fuß in fünf Minuten sehr gut möglich unterhalb der Wohnung. Diese war viel großzügiger als erwartet. Insgesamt kommen wir gerne wieder.

Das Apartment ist schnuckelig aber war dennoch groß genug für uns zwei =) Sehr schön eingerichtet und es war alles da was man so braucht. Die Lage ist perfekt, viele Möglichkeiten shoppen oder gut essen zu gehen. Der Pool ist direkt neben der Wohnung. Absoluter secret place. Zum Strand sind es dann auch nur 5 min zu Fuß. Da können wir die BeachBar Heaven empfehlen dir wirklich alles bietet Wir kommen gerne wieder ! Danke für alles

Die Unterkunft in Kokkini Hani war insgesamt sehr schön. Alles war sauber und gepflegt, es war wirklich alles vorhanden, was man braucht – von Küchenutensilien bis hin zu Strandhandtüchern. Die Lage ist ein echtes Highlight: Direkt am Strand, man hört das Meer schon beim Aufwachen. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und gut erreichbar, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen: Die Raumaufteilung ist sehr offen gestaltet, wodurch es keine wirkliche Privatsphäre in den einzelnen Zimmern gibt. Wer Wert auf getrennte Schlafräume legt, sollte das bedenken. Trotzdem eine tolle Unterkunft in traumhafter Lage – perfekt für einen entspannten Strandurlaub!

We have enjoyed our stay , the host is very helpful , the room is clean , it looks exactly like the photos , the view is fabulous. You need a car to move around , go to the beach and visit the city. I recommend

Great stay! Just be aware of the additional “climate tax” that is requested upon arrival. This wasn’t very clear before booking via Airbnb. But I did receive a notification afterwards. Nothing against the hotel though. Everything was great 😎

Wir haben mit 5 Erwachsenen phantastische erholsame 2 Wochen in Alexandros Villa verbracht. Die Villa ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich für einen komfortablen Urlaub wünscht. Wir haben uns von Beginn an wohlgefühlt. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die herausragende Lage der Villa. Der Blick gerade vom oberen Balkon auf die Berge ist atemberaubend. Mit einer Sitzmöglichkeit würde der Balkon noch einladender sein, um den einen oder anderen Sonnenuntergang genießen zu können. Alexandros ist ein wunderbarer Gastgeber. Er hat uns persönlich vom Flughafen abgeholt, half uns beim Transport der Gepäckstücke und begleitete uns zur Villa. Er gab uns wertvolle Tips zum Erkunden der Insel und war jederzeit für uns erreichbar. Das gab uns ein gutes Gefühl. Wir Können die Villa von Alexandros uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Wir haben uns von Anfang an bei Giorgos und Evi wohlgefühlt. Trotz der Verspätung unseres Fluges waren die beiden zu später Stunde vor Ort und haben uns in Ruhe alles erklärt. Das Tiny-Haus war sehr sauber, funktional und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Wir haben es genossen, auf der stimmungsvollen Terrasse den Tag ausklingen zu lassen oder uns zwischendurch im Pool zu erfrischen. Unsere Vermieter waren jederzeit für uns da und haben uns sogar einmal einheimische Süßpeisen mitgebracht. Wir können die Unterkunft wärmstes jedem empfehlen, der in der Nähe von Heraklion auf der Suche nach einem Quartier ist.

Host was communicative and provided clear instructions. The place was larger than expected and the facilities are well maintained and in very good condition.
