Holiday rentals with a kayak in Hernando County

Kelly's place was everything the listing promised and more. The location was peacefull and the views stunning! This is a great place to relax, enjoy nature, and spend time with family. We used the kayaks every day! We will definitely be back!

This house was the best decision we made on our vacation. Everything was perfect from the comfort of the beds, the space, the pool and game room, TVs loaded with all the streaming services you could ever need and peaceful atmosphere. We will certainly be looking for Tiffany’s house to book for our next vacation.

We loved the place, it was well stocked. The location was perfect it is down a canal so not much traffic and so it was very peaceful. There were plenty of kayaks for the 6 of us. We saw manatees and dolphins on our trip. The beds were very comfortable. The one and only issue was it says it sleeps 6 but I wouldn't recommend it for 6 adults/teens. It comfortably sleeps 4 adults/teens and maybe smaller children. We would definetly stay her again just if we had a smaller group.

Booked the property for a mini vacation with family for my birthday weekend. We had the best time!! The house is beautiful and the views were spectacular. There were ample amenities provided to for a relaxing stay and the hosts, Alix and Summer, were both super nice and accommodating! 10/10 recommend this stay. Me and my family are definitely going to make this a regular booking!!

A great place to stay while exploring the area. Everything you need is there for a relaxing vacation. Derrick is very nice and helpful with questions. I would definitely recommend and stay again!

If you love lots of natural light, stunning water views, and easy water access that features a parade of manatees and dolphins- then this is the place for you. We loved our time at this house. Having kayaks available was a big plus. We went out everyday. The living spaces are large and comfortable, the bedrooms too. This is a truly special part of Florida. (spoken be a long time Floridian) We would stay here again.

Another beautiful stay in a beautiful place, this home gives direct access to the weeki Wachee river, top Florida spring run. Lori is an awesome host. Christena's home was a wonderful experience for us. And it's true, the sunsets are gorgeous, and you can see the stars at night. Her home was welcoming and inviting. It was pristine. I really appreciated the lovely card and the chips that were there when we arrived. One thing really cool is watching the current change directions every few minutes right outside the screened porch. I've lived around water my whole life and have never experienced that! It was very cool! The wildlife was great to watch, too! Also, Christena was very accommodating and super friendly! We would definitely come back. I highly recommend her home.

This was our second time renting this place and we just love it. Location is perfect, the price has been really good each time, and there's everything one needs. The house has a great lay out, with a large open living area with kitchen, dining area, and living room, and then the bedrooms are off to the sides. The large screened in area is cozy for hanging out and keeping all your things that don't need to come in the house. There are 5 single kayaks which are great and this time we needed a double kayak as well so we rented one from Easy Peasy Mobile Kayak Rental. Would definitely recommend reaching out to them if one needs additional kayaks at a fair price and they deliver and pick up. Sally is a fantastic host who has always been so responsive and we will definitely be coming back for a third time :)

If you are looking for a river getaway in a place with a lot of charm, this is the place. Three separate sleeping areas. One of the best docks I have seen around the river. VERY close to main river and water still very clear and moving…..this is not a distant canal with stagnant water. Saw manatees right at the dock, loved the floating mat to just chill in the river. Grinned and laughed for three days straight!

STOP SEARCHING!!! This. Place. Is. It. If it’s available book it! The Funky Flamingo is fabulous, everything about this place is perfect! Perfect location, perfect decor, perfect everything!!! Manatees visited and a very friendly Corgi visited the hammock late one night. Janelle, thank you for the funky time 💜🫶🏻💜

Excellent getaway! Has everything and my ch more

We had a blast celebrating my fiancés birthday on the river! So many things to use for outdoor time, so close to the water! Plenty of places to sit! The Airbnb was so cool compared to outdoors!

From the moments we arrived we were very pleased. Everything was fresh and clean. A nice bottle of wine was waiting on us. We were treated by 4-5 manatees and one with a baby. We out crab traps in but the hey did not chose that route. We went old school with chicken leg, string and net. Caught 21 crabs. So much fun and so delicious! There were 6 guys and not one complaint. Oh there was one, why we can’t stay another day. But we had to get back too work. LOL. We highly recommend this place. We have been coming for the last 7 years to Weeki and this was one of the finest places for the price. Host were always quick to respond. Look forward to next time!

Always a great place to stay.

From checkin to check out, Jon was very polite, and very detailed on what to do and not do. We will be back to visit again. The morning sunrise sitting by the canal and watching the fish jump up out of the water was so calming and relaxing. The hottub felt amazing on my back . It was very homey and cozy. The local people were friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. The only part I would. hamge would be ro dtay another night. stay safe

We loved it there!! it was close to everything we wanted to do and we could walk to the restaurant which had great food and entertainment!!: Loved the outdoor area with the multiple decks, rocking chairs, and a fire pit!!

It was a beautiful place to stay. Perfect place to disconnect your self from everything. We love our stay!!! The cabin was just perfect for the 3 of us. Love the River and the screened porch.

The host was amazing. Very responsive! The house was great. A little small, however, perfect for our family of 4. The access to the river is amazing! Awesome view with nature on the other side of the river, not houses. The water was crystal clear. The kayaks were in good shape and fun to use. The only downside is there is not dishwasher if you are going to stay longer, however, we did not mind washing our own dishes. We are already looking at dates to return!

Booked a weekend stay for my boyfriends 28th birthday. This was such an unforgettable stay for us. I could go on and on, but I’ll keep it short and say Dustin was one of the best hosts I’ve experienced on air bnb. He responded promptly every time I had a question and was so friendly. The house was clean and had endless amenities. The main reason I booked this stay is because of the included kayaks and boat launch which made kayaking so easy. We already can’t wait to come back. Thank you Dustin!

We stayed 4 nights and really enjoyed the trip. The house has a direct access to the main river. Very well stocked with everything you need. We really like the fact that the property doesn’t have excess of trees and bushes. It is the best one we stayed at in this area.
