From the joy of walking up to the labyrinth and witnessing a breathtaking sunset to the pure exhilaration of squealing down the foofy slide—every moment felt special. We loved hiking to the waterfall and rock pools, immersing ourselves in nature’s beauty. Our cozy rondavel felt like a warm hug after each day of adventure. The charm of Frog Mountain extends beyond the landscapes—it’s in the horses grazing peacefully, the cows wandering the fields, and the symphony of beautiful birdsong each morning. Swimming in the river was a refreshing delight, and every corner of this place felt like a gift to the soul. We are deeply grateful

Greg & Sam, are amazing hosts. They let me know which dirt roads are the best for travel and kept me up to date with information about the area. As a keen hiker, I was invited to hike with them in Rooiberg Mountains and experience its pristine beauty, which is food of the soul. Our stay at Mariaan’s place in Stilbaai was absolutely wonderful! The location is perfect, just steps away from the beach, making it so easy to enjoy the seaside whenever we wanted. Lovely weekend getaway on a pristine location. Good driving distance from Cape Town. Nguni cottage had all the kitchen amenities your would want on a weekend stay. Lovely hike to a pool and some picnic spots on the river for summer time. It was too cold to swim, but the hot tub was the best! Do note it takes about 4 hours to heat up ;) Bring enough dry wood :) Otherwise there is everything you need for a great stay. Good value as well.

Natalie is an excellent communicator and highly responsive, making interactions smooth and hassle-free. She is incredibly helpful, considerate, and genuinely friendly. The village where her property is located offers a peaceful, safe, and picturesque environment. Her home exudes charm and character, adding a unique touch to the stay.

If you looking for a place to escape the hustle and bustle of life, then look no further! The mountain views and evening stars were breathtaking! Lizelle allowed our fur babies to come along which made for a wonderful family getaway. Thank you for sharing your magical place with us 🤗

This is an incredible stay! Annalize is a wonderful host. The cottage itself is gorgeous and includes homely and heartwarming amenities such as cappuccino sachets, biscuits, and even a packet of microwave popcorn!

What stood out for us at Riverridge View, apart from a great location, were the people / staff. We had a few minor niggles with the cottage which were dealt with rapidly by owners Izelle and and Courtenay. They are excellent accommodating and responsive hosts, and we can only recommend Riverridge View for a stay. Our thanks to the two staff members who are in attendance to asisst.

Charmaine and Paul were both super friendly and helpful. The house had everything we needed, including lovely views of the mountain! Very modern and clean, with those of great reading material about what to do in the surrounding areas. Highly recommended.

Great place for a relaxing weekend, cozy fireplace inside for colder days and great hiking routes and scenic swimming spots for the summer. If you’ve come this far, make that booking.

Dean's communication was spot on and he sorted a issue regarding moving location due to another booking with no problem at all. And when I was running two hours late he helped me relax and chill and not worry about check-in. Can't fault Dean and Diesel & Crème at all. Perfect hosts and friendly supportive staff. Will always be back.

Hannah's 'Couples Cottage' is basic basic! Good bed, fine linnen, a working shower, a braai and kitchen to prepare your meal. We loved the atmosphere of the cottage and booked an extra night! Cottage is on an old olive tree farm in the hamlet Vermaaklikheid. We walked several times to the river and drove 8 km to the rivermouth and saw Puntjie. Unfortunate no beach access from the river mouth.

The suite was great. Very enjoyable and easy stop over for a drive to/from Cape Town. Next to the restaurant, but still private, quiet and spacious. Very comfortable bed and great hot shower.

We had a fantastic time & the accommodation was perfect. Spacious cottage, fully furnished with all necessities, fully kitted kitchen. Will definitely visit again!

The dirt road to the place can be tricky if you don't have the right vehicle. We had a 4x4 and it was just awesome. No TV but the view and the lake made up for that, my family enjoyed fishing and the breathtaking scenery. Sanet makes sure you have all you need, including charcoal for the braai, firelighters, rusks and even a bottle of wine 🍷. We will definitely stop over here again.

Loved our stay at ‘Be my guest’. Beautiful decor and very inviting spaces, both indoor and outdoor. Super comfy beds & pillows. Great location, within close proximity of great restaurants and cafes. Nicole’s accommodation was the perfect spot to explore wonderful Stilbaai from. Would recommend anytime!

Wow what an awesome place Jaimie thought of absolutely everything our stay was so comfortable we felt right at home. Loved the chickens and beautiful garden. Recommended great places to visit.
