ABURARI Only 9 minutes from Kansai Airport, an old private house with a popular mossy Japanese garden (same price for up to 3 people)
Kansai Airport is 9 minutes by train and 5 minutes on foot. We rent out the entire traditional Japanese merchant's mansion (old private house). Yuri is the name of the house that has been passed down from generation to generation in our family. Enjoy a relaxing Japanese trip with just your family and friends, without having to worry about other groups, rather than just a guest house. This inn is very popular with those who are interested in traditional Japanese culture and anime lovers such as Demon Slayer and Naruto. It is an old private house, but it has been completely renovated to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests. It can be used for a wide range of stays for families and groups of 1 to 10 people. (The price won't change for up to 3 people) [The best hospitality not found in other guest houses] The Japanese garden, which spreads between the spacious 12-tatami-mat interior and the veranda, is the essence of traditional Japanese architecture. Relax in the spacious tatami room overlooking the Japanese garden. The living room, which is a remodeled rice warehouse, can take you back in time 200 years. [Long-term stays] Desks, chairs and whiteboards are provided. You can also use it as a workspace. We also have discounted plans for guests staying 28 days or more.

A former inn located on a hill with the remains of an old castle in Wakayama, Shirahama, and Kumano Kodo. Up to 5 people. Toilet, spacious barrier-free bath
Founded in 1957, my grandfather, Eiichi Tanuchi, ran an inn called Aiwasho for the cultural development of Tanabe City, Wakayama Prefecture. In order to continue to protect its history and traditions, his granddaughter, Kiushuko, reopened the inn under its original name in 2021. Built on the site of Ueno Castle, this inn is a traditional Japanese house with tatami mats on the floor. Please relax in one of the two Japanese-style rooms. The inn is located on a hill overlooking the city of Tanabe, so you can enjoy the morning sun, sunset, and night view. On a calm day, we recommend having tea in a wicker chair on the edge of the hinoki cypress wooden deck, which was made in the image of the moon viewing platform of the Katsura Imperial Villa. The newly installed bath and toilet are spacious and barrier-free, so you can bathe together or use them easily even if you need assistance. We installed popin.aladdin (lighting with projector) in one of the Japanese-style rooms. It projects on the sliding doors You can watch TV, music, movies, etc. Enjoy BGM on YouTube before you go out in the morning. My parents, Kisaku and Shuko Tanai (Japanese), live next to the house, so please let me know if you need anything.

Guest House Agai (Western-style room) The owner is a Kumano Kodo guide. Conveniently located within a 30-second walk to a supermarket and bus stop!
"Agape" means "my home" in the local dialect. Please relax as if you were at home. The entire unit is reserved for one group to ensure privacy. There is a main house (Japanese-style room) next door, separated by an outer wall, where one more group can stay. If there are 4 or more people, we recommend booking both the Western-style room and the Japanese-style room. Prices vary depending on the number of people. Please be sure to let us know the exact number of guests staying in the unit. Supermarket (A-COOP Kinan Kumano Kodo Chikatsuyu), bus stop (Kodo Aruki-no-Sato Chikatsuyu), restaurant (Shoji Teahouse), and drive-in (Kodo Aruki-no-Sato Chikatsuyu) are within a 30-second walk, about 500 m to a gas station, and about 5-6 minutes on foot from Kumano Kodo and Kirei Oji. The owner is a local Kumano Kodo guide, so he is familiar with walking tours, local attractions, and information, so please let me know if you need anything. We will do our best to accommodate you, such as pick-up and drop-off when you need it. Basically, it is a room only, but we can also arrange meals. (For meals, please also read "Other things to note")
