This is a house with a superb view overlooking Lake Nojiri. There are several ski slopes (Myoko, Kurohime, and Masao), about 15-20 minutes away, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy a wood-burning sauna and a stunning water bath. There are no private houses around, so you can also watch music and movies with loud noise. Because it is a house nestled deep in the mountains, we do our best, but there are insects during the warmer months.It snows a lot in winter.In autumn, the leaves are dancing. You must also adjust the fire in the wood stove yourself. It's never an easy home to live in, but with a great view and experience. There is a full counter kitchen with stunning views and condiments and cookers so you can enjoy cooking.(No BBQ equipment)

After locally sourcing fresh ingredients, head to the Rock Forest, park your car in the parking lot, and climb the stairs to carry the ingredients to the hearth space. From Tokyo to Karuizawa, it is 60 minutes by Shinkansen, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so for example, you can work in the morning and take a half afternoon. We renovated a riverside villa in the forest of Karuizawa. The grounds of this great location are about 2,500 ㎡! Feel the extraordinary atmosphere with a large sofa and fireplace in the living room, a large yard and outdoor dining. In the bathroom, you can enjoy a JAXSON jet bath, a large sauna for 4 people that can be used at the same time, and a rain shower in the bath.
