NISHIMURA-TEI Hanare - Kitchen & Dining

Nishimura Residence is an old-fashioned Nara-machiya that has been standing on a piece of Nara-machi for more than 100 years. I was a “grandmother” for a long time when I was a child. In Nara Town, there is a pleasant despicable feeling that never changes. "I want to be filled with this pleasant contempt even for future generations." With that in mind, I took care of the empty Nishimura Residence. - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

Reikyo Garden "King Studio"

There are old Japanese "row houses" in Nishinari-ku, Osaka-shi.We designed a unique accommodation in T2P Architects, a disciple of the world-famous architect Tadao Ando.The outline of a small roof harmonizes with the appearance of the neighborhood, and a metal facade creates a contrast with the surroundings.At the same time, the concept of “shared housing” blends privacy with a central garden to facilitate interaction between residents. Our building has been awarded with numerous honors, including the ArchDaily 2023 Annual Architectural Nomination, 2022 Good Design Award, Korea's space magazine January 2023 issue, and Wallpaper Magazine's November 2023 issue.

The nearest subway station is Higashimikuni which is on one of major subway line in Osaka, so it's easy to access a lot of popular and famous places! It takes only 1 - 2 min walk from the station to the apartment. There are convenience stores, grocery stores and local restaurants nearby! You have a great nice view of the city of Nara and Ikoma. from the balcony of 2nd,3rd floor. The 2nd floor bed room catches the morning sun ,birds voice . Ikomayama-mountain itself is a power spot . And a place where you can receive power from the ancient city of Nara. So "Kerinosu" is a power spot! You can drink enough tea -Tochucha-from my garden ,I dried is delicious &good for your health. Receivable a healing exercise that is a meditation mixed Kerinosu- yoga movements if you like.

Please experience or your friends and genuine good old Japanese life with your family. You can feel free to use, such as 12 people a large digging your stand is there an event-party sit at the same time. System kitchen, refrigerator, microwave oven,cookware, has to offer, such as tableware. Since there is a loft it is possible acceptance of the organization. Bedding will be available in the Japanese style. It is an old town house, but is already all the water around the renovation.

Our room is located in Yao Osaka prefecture. It's a quite and safe place where there are lots of families in the neighborhood. It's between Kintetsu-Yao and Kawachi-Yamamoto station. It takes about 15minutes on foot from both of the stations. There are lots of restaurants and shopping malls near the station. Our room is modern Japanese style, and Host lives next door. Please don't hesitate to ask us anytime.
