The kitchen area is shared with Hotos.The rest of the space is reserved for your exclusive use, and you can enjoy your time freely, just like when you rent the entire property. A spacious area of approximately 230 m² can accommodate up to 8 people.Ideal for family or group trips.There is also easy access to Yoshinoyama, a famous cherry blossom viewing spot, and Kimpusenji Temple, a World Heritage Site. I have lived in Iga Ueno for a few years. Growing up in a residential area, living in a castle town was a new experience for me. This land with its old-fashioned townscape and famous water is hot in summer and cold in winter. But that's why the rice, vegetables, and meat are also delicious. There are many areas where nature remains, but few areas where the old townscape remains intact. I want to preserve this townscape. To that end, I want many people to experience a nostalgic way of life and culture. As such a place, we renovated a row house left by our ancestors and opened it as the Daiji, a soy sauce shop that had closed. You are always welcome! You can enjoy the "Medicinal Herb Makomo Bath" at the Irori back table and the Goemon bath, where the well water is heated with firewood. A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!
